Sadie arrives in Hollyoaks
(Picture: Lime Pictures)

As first revealed in Metro.co.uk’s free soaps newsletter – which you can sign up for here to receive every Friday – Hollyoaks is introducing Harry Thompson’s (Parry Glasspool) ex Sadie Cressington (Alexa Lee).

The good point about Sadie rocking up is that she can provide Harry with an alibi to exonerate him for Grace Black’s (Tamara Wall) hit and run. The bad news? Well, she and Harry are carrying a secret that could rip him apart from James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan).

We’re not expecting Jarry fans to welcome Sadie with open arms, put it that way – however, at the time that Grace was hit, Harry was secretly meeting up with her. So will she go to the police and clear his name? And what will James say when he learns of their secret catch ups.

And just what are they hiding that could throw the relationship into absolute chaos? Harry has been unable to tell the police where he really was on the night in question and has since been arrested.

James and Harry face fresh trouble in Hollyoaks
(Picture: Lime Pictures)

He is finally forced to reveal the truth to paranoid James who is shocked that Harry’s secret ex, is a woman. Can Harry and James convince Sadie to help them clear Harry’s name, or will she be influenced by  other forces in the village such as the real culprits?

Speaking about her arrival, Alex said: ‘What an absolute pleasure and privilege it is to be joining the show and entering Hollyoaks village. The scenes I’ve filmed so far with Parry and Greg have been great fun. I’m super lucky to be working with a brilliant cast and crew who have welcomed me with open arms.

‘I’m so excited for Sadie to be on your screens as there’s some big reveals coming up, great storylines and some massive decisions to be made.’

Viewers will see Sadie for the first time on Wednesday 29th May on E4 at 7pm.

Coronation Street spoilers: Soap reveals when Rana’s killer is revealed and it’s sooner than you think

Gary, Nick and Robert in Coronation Street
(Picture: ITV)

Coronation Street fans have just over a week to wait until they find out who sabotaged the factory roof and killed Rana Habeeb as the soap has confirmed that next Wednesday’s late night episode will see the killer unmasked – two episodes sooner than fans initially expected.

Viewers had been led to believe that Carla Connor’s (Alison King) mental health episode on Friday 31st May would culminate in the big reveal but it’s the episode on the 29th that will first reveal whether it was Gary Windass (Mikey North), Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) or Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill) who committed the crime.

It’s an action packed week of episodes, with a 9pm half hour edition airing each weeknight between the Britain’s Got Talent finals, as per ITV tradition. It will see Carla’s special episode end a week of high drama, secrets revealed and scandal.

The Platts will be torn apart as Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) finally learns that it was Nick who stole the money from her and she angrily lashes out and slaps him across the face. Meanwhile, Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) is far more concerned with bumping into Lorraine Kelly while they are riding pedalos – perhaps literally!

Meanwhile, things aren’t looking great for Gary either as he is held hostage by a vengeful Rick Neelan (Greg Wood), who has decided that it’s time to end the games and finish Gary off for good.

It’s a week that will change the lives of certain residents forever and the unmasking of the killer is all set to trigger another huge storyline as a major, long term villain will be in place to cause more havoc down the line.

As for when the rest of the Street – including Carla – discover the truth about what really happened to Rana; fans will just have to wait and see. There may be a bit of a longer wait for that one.

Emmerdale spoilers: Split ruled out for Cain and Moira Dingle –‘they’re solid as a rock’

There’s no denying that there has been a little bit of tension between Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and his soulmate Moira (Natalie J Robb) in Emmerdale – how could there not be with Cain being estranged from Debbie (Charley Webb) and also facing the death of Lisa (Jane Cox)while Moira has worried about her son Matty’s (Ash Palmisciano) operation?

Viewers have been fearing that there is trouble on the horizon for the much loved couple and a scene which saw Cain spend time with his ex Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) while seemingly behaving off hand with Moira raised concerns even further.

But fear not. As every soap couple does, they will undoubtedly face many hardships but Jeff has confirmed while speaking on This Morning that there is no plan for the couple to split. So Coira fans can relax!

He said: ‘I think it’s all going to be OK. Cain and Moira are solid as a rock so if anything happens that’s news to me!’

Cain and Moira talk in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Sounds pretty definitive to us. The stars were on the show to promote Emmerdale for the upcoming British Soap Awards – at which they have had a bit of a winning spree over recent years.

And Jeff revealed there is more ahead for his character ahead of Debbie Dingle’s exit for Charley Webb’s maternity leave. He smiled: ‘Although a lot of it was quite serious, you do laugh between takes. So that was great fun and I still think that story has kind of got to be resolved but I’m kind of hoping for a happy ending between Cain and Debbie.’

Speaking of happy endings, Dominic Brunt hinted at similar for his character Paddy Kirk and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) as their baby scan next week is without problems.

He enthused: ‘We believe we get our happy ending.’

If any couples deserve some respite, it’s Chaddy and Coira!

Emmerdale’s Chas and Paddy are finally getting their happy ending

Emmerdale’s Dominic Brunt and Lucy Pargeter have said that Paddy and Chas are finally getting their happy ending after their heartbreaking baby loss storyline.

The on-screen couple have been dealing with the devastating loss of their child shortly after they were born, with a new pregnancy obviously striking fear into both of them.

However, the acting pair have confirmed that after so much heartache, they are finally catching a break and can finally get the happy ending they’ve been waiting for.

Confirming that Chastity will have a 20-week baby scan this week, Lucy gave her thumbs up on This Morning and revealed: ‘Everything goes OK! It’s all positive. So thankfully everything turns out ok.’

‘We believe we get our happy ending,’ Dominic added.

If there’s another couple that deserve a break in the Dales, it’s these two.

Appearing on This Morning ahead of this year’s British Soap Awards, Dominic and Lucy were joined by Jeff Hordley (who plays Cain Dingle) and Nicola Wheeler (who plays Nicola King), to discuss the brutal year the show’s endured.

For Chas and Paddy, this was mainly around the pregnancy and death of their little girl Grace, who due to a foetal abnormality, died just moments after she was born.

‘It’s tricky because those sort of storylines are like food for an actor,’ said Dominic. ’But it was handled differently to anything I’d worked on before and there was a huge sense responsibility to get it right and I was honoured to be a part of it.’

Lucy added that the viewer reaction was ‘amazing and overwhelming’ and added: ‘The amount of people who the storyline touched who had similar stories or just loss, just baby loss, it touched so many people.’

Stephanie Davis revealed she plans to marry boyfriend Owen Warner, just months after making their relationship official.

The Hollyoaks actress – who plays Sinead Shelby on the show – lifted the lid on her romance with her 19-year-old co-star, and admitted she’s already got a date in mind for their wedding.

As long as we get an invite to their big day…

‘I used to ask people, “How do know if they’re The One?”, and they’d say, “you just know”. I can’t imagine my life without him,’ the mum-of-one said.

‘He’s so good to me, and he love the bones of me. He’s shown me what a real relationship is like.’

Speaking about wedding plans, the 26-year-old revealed she wants her big day to take place next year.

‘He’s the one I am going to marry, so hopefully it’ll happen next year. That’s what he tells me,’ she added to Closer Magazine.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bv7G4IjBGTG/

‘He always bends down and does his shoe laces on purpose, to wind me up, so I’m like, “oh my god”.’

Well, it seems like the loved-up pair – who moved in together at the beginning of the year – have already got enough practice in with married life, as they refer to each other as ‘husband’ and ‘wife’.

Seriously adorable.

Steph was previously dating Jeremy McConnell – whom she shares son Caben-Albi with.

The actress returned to Hollyoaks last year, and was thrown straight in at the deep end with her storylines.

Because nothing is ever easy in Chester…

And it is a big week for her character, who is set to reveal all about the brutal rape and abuse she has suffered at the hands of husband Laurie Shelby.

But in a tragic turn of events, Sinead gets the strength to come forward after Laurie attacks her once more.

‘Sinead has agreed to take Laurie back as long as he goes to anger management sessions, but what she doesn’t know is that he didn’t even set up the meeting,’ she revealed ahead of this week’s episode.

‘Whilst waiting for Laurie to come home, she sees a book on the shelf, and notices that the authors name is the same as what he said his anger management therapist was called.

‘She starts panicking and everything is going slow and she is furious. She waits for him to come home as she’s about to lose it. Once he’s home they go to the bedroom and he starts acting quite strange. He turns the music up really loud, and Sinead is alarmed and right to be.’

And, speaking about the scenes, she revealed she is adamant she wants to help people, after her own past.

‘It was my priority to help people with what I’ve been through,’ she exclusively told Metro.co.uk. ‘And it’s already helped so many people.’

Discussing the reaction, she continued: ‘[It’s a] big story line it’s been really challenging, but I’ve done it and I’ve done it justice. I’m really happy with it.

‘It’s overwhelming right now.’

Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) waits for Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) but is shocked when David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) shows up instead
(Picture: ITV)

Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) finds herself caught in a trap in Emmerdale tonight when she turns up at the cricket pavilion intending to meet with Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) only to find David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) lying in wait to finally confront her over the sex abuse she committed against his teenage son.

David had arranged for software to be installed on Jacob’s laptop to track his movements and this led to David finding out that the lad had been manipulated into taking Maya’s cash and passport from Leyla Harding’s (Roxy Shahidi) house.

But as he heads to meet up with the woman who had groomed him, Leyla desperately tries to stop him and he realises that something is amiss.

At the pavilion, David lets Maya know his thoughts on her and before long, the police turn up and place her under arrest as she tries to get away. As Jacob runs over to see her being taken away in the back of a police car, he rounds on David and tells him that he will never forgive him.

But will Maya be charged with the crime as she is interviewed by the police? Or can she lie her way out of trouble?

It remains to be seen what happens next but could this be a final exit for the sinister predator?

Emmerdale continues on Tuesday 21st May at 7pm on ITV.

Sinead reports Laurie to the police in Hollyoaks (Picture: Limehouse Pictures)

Laurie Shelby was investigated by police after wife Sinead reported him for raping her, but a hole in her testimony could see the case fall at the first hurdle.

In the latest episode of Hollyoaks, Sinead (Stephanie Davis) and Laurie (Kyle Pryor) were interviewed separately by police, along with Tony (Nick Pickard) and Diane (Alex Fletcher) after they were present when Sinead made her initial confession.

While the interviews play out, DC Khan visits Sally St Claire, Mitchell Deveraux, Nancy Osborne and Sienna Blake following evidence Laurie has given, with Sally and Nancy shocked by the accusations against Laurie.

Sinead’s case is seemingly strengthened after Tony and Diane reveal Laurie apologised if he ‘got carried away’ after Sinead told them she was raped.

The odds, however, could tip against her when Sinead chooses to lie about when a ‘happy’ family photo was taken – realising it was taken shortly after the first time she was raped.

She instead states the photo was taken days prior, but realises Laurie was away on a school trip that date when she returns home, and has an alibi.

Could this be a key detail which discredits her accusations? And will Laurie use this as leverage to get away with the crime?

Does Billy Mitchell die in EastEnders and is Perry Fenwick leaving the soap?

Billy Mitchell, played by Perry Fenwick on EastEnders
Could we be about to see the end of Billy? (Picture: BBC /Jack Barnes)

Billy Mitchell has found himself caught in the crossfire between Ben Mitchell and his dad Phil, as he came to learn Ben’s dreadful secret last night on EastEnders.

Lola (Danielle Harold) went to drown her sorrow after she found out that Ben (Max Bowden) threatened her fiance Ewan (Riley Jones) to try and get him to stay away.

This served to lower her guard enough that she told Billy (Perry Fenwick) all about Ben’s dastardly plan to get revenge on his father – whom Ben blames for all the wrongs in his life.

Lola let slip to her granddad that Ben was actually back in Walford to ruin Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), and even though she tried to backtrack, Billy’s having none of it.

With a particularly vested interest in keeping his granddaughter safe, Billy decided Phil had a right to know that his son was out to destroy his life.

Phil confronted Ben, and even though Ben denied everything, Phil remained suspicious.

Billy also warned Ben to keep Lola out of his scheming, despite Ben trying to convert Billy to his cruel cause.

When Billy instead warned Ben to keep Lola and Lexi away from his scheming from now on, Ben has decided that he needs Billy out of his hair – for good.

Ben has gone so far as to put a hit out his on his own father’s cousin, but his trap for Billy could turn out to be more than Ben bargained for, as Ben realises that little Will Mitchell (Freddie Phillips) is going to be with Billy when the hitman is due to strike.

With Ben panicking about the danger he’s just put a child in, could Will, his father Billy, or both be about to die, all because of Ben’s grudge?

You’ll have to tune in to find out…

Ben hatches a plan to kill Billy in EastEnders
(Picture: BBC)

Kill Billy Mitchell? You’d be taking on the whole EastEnders fanbase, Ben! The actor, played by Max Bowden, has hired an assassin to deal with the well meaning club manager (Perry Fenwick) and it looks like he may end up dead.

Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) had confided in Billy that Ben had been plotting to destroy Phil (Steve McFadden) by building up then destroying his empire as an act of revenge for how his life has gone over the years.

Billy was stunned and told Phil what he knew and while Ben tried to smooth things over with Billy, he knew he wasn’t getting anywhere. Billy defiantly told him that he needs to keep away from Lola and, feeling that he poses a risk to everything, Ben decided that he needs to be out of the picture – permanently.

He contacted a shady friend to deal with him and then casually struck up a conversation with Billy so that there could be no mistake as to who the intended victim is. Ben instructed the hitman to make the incident as ‘tragic’ as possible – so is this the end of poor Billy?

Billy tells Lola about Habiba and Adam
(Picture: BBC)

As Billy heads out on a job for Phil the next day, the assassin is in hot pursuit but when Billy hears that Will is along for the ride, his expression darkens. Apparently he would go very far to stop his secrets being exposed – but not as far as endangering a child’s life.

As Ben rushes to try and stop things from going devastatingly wrong, will he be too late and will the Mitchell clan be hit with a double tragedy?

Or will he stop the hitman just in time but finally expose himself and his true colours in the process?

Ben has a difficult choice to make – with lives very literally on the line…

Maya is seriously unhinged in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) is an accomplished liar and she showed her full manipulative side tonight as she did everything she could to avoid charges of grooming and sex abuse against teenager Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) in Emmerdale.

After David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) trapped her at the pavilion, the police closed in and arrested her, despite her trying to call David’s bluff by claiming he was too pathetic to cope with the ’embarrassment’ of his girlfriend going off with his teenage son.

As Maya was questioned, she immediately took the angle that Jacob bore a crush and she was there for him as he was a troubled lad – she only ever wanted to be nice to him. Putting on an act of innocence and disbelief, she also told police that Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) had tried to blackmail her out of money by threatening to destroy her career.

She made out that Liv’s blackmail was borne of a grudge rather than her genuine knowledge that she is a predator and when Maya then played her trump card and revealed that Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) and Priya Kitecha (Fiona Wade0 had kidnapped and attacked her, the three women were arrested.

While the charges against Maya are serious, she has already started to paint a picture of a grudge being held against her by claiming that all of David’s exes had it in for her and nothing happened between her and Jacob.

So as Leyla, Tacy and Priya now face prison for their own actions, could Maya be about to be released without charge – especially as Jacob has made it clear that he will support Maya’s version of events?

Is she truly about to get away with her abhorrent crimes after all of this or will the tides finally turn against her and expose her for the master manipulator that she is?

Maya shocks Jacob in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Shocking new statistics revealed in the wake of Maya Stepney’s (Louisa Clein) arrest on Emmerdale have revealed that adults struggle to identify what constitutes sexual abuse.

On the soap Maya has been grooming schoolboy Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) for months, and even made plans to flee the country with him.

Maya tried to find a way out, taking Jacob with her, but she was reported to the police and finally arrested in front of the devastated teenager.

Viewers were stunned when they previously saw Maya, who is Jacob’s teacher, have sex with him a few days after he turned 16.

But surprising new statistics revealed in a poll of over 2000 people by YouGov for Barnados, the children’s charity who have been working with Emmerdale on the storyline, show that many adults have a severe lack of knowledge about sexual abuse.

Despite witnessing Maya and Jacob sexting, the poll showed that 35% of people didn’t actually think an adult sending sexually explicit messages to a 16-year-old was illegal or abusive.

When Jacob was still 15, scenes played out on screen of him kissing Maya in and out of school, however 27% of people in the poll did not identify this as illegal or abusive.

Although Jacob was over the age of consent when he and Maya had sex, it is a crime for an adult in a position of trust (such as a teacher or foster carer) to engage in sexual activity with a person under the age of 18, under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

Barnados chief executive Javed Khan applauded Emmerdale for not shying away from scenes of Maya grooming Jacob, and ‘highlighting a very real and disturbing issue’.

‘Our polling shows there is still a significant proportion of the public that doesn’t realise Maya’s actions in the soap were criminal,’ he said.

‘Adult abusers like Maya in Emmerdale exploit young people’s feelings of loneliness, their need for care and their desire to be loved, before abusing them.

‘Barnardo’s support services see first-hand how this abuse can cause long term harm and affect young people’s attitudes to love, relationships and sex as they move into adulthood.’

Holby City review with spoilers: Gut-wrenching scenes as Isaac Mayfield returns

Isaac returns to Holby
Evil Isaac returns! (Picture: BBC)

In an intense and sometimes uncomfortable hour of Holby City we saw the insidious way that Isaac Mayfield (Marc Elliott) can still get inside Dominic Copeland (David Ames)’s head. In fact, we saw that despite marrying Lofty (Lee Mead) and seeming to be moving on with his life, Dominic has never fully dealt with the mental and physical scars that Isaac inflicted on him. This is why Isaac was the person Dominic contacted as soon as he heard about Lofty being unfaithful.

Last week it seemed that Dominic had contacted a random stranger through an app, and the stranger turned out to be Isaac – who’d possibly been keeping an eye on what Dominic was up to. Through flashbacks to that meeting in tonight’s episode, we discovered that it was Dominic who’d made the first contact. This was a decision he immediately regretted, but once you let a person like Issac back into your life it’s hard to get him out, as we saw previously.

The situation was complicated by Isaac’s father, Jon (Geoffrey Leesley), being brought into the hospital with a serious problem with his arm. When Isaac turned up, too, Sacha (Bob Barrett) and Carole (Julia Deakin) called security to get him thrown out. Hanssen (Guy Henry), Sacha, Carole and Dominic all had a meeting to decide what to do. Sacha was furious and wanted both Mayfields out of the hospital as soon as possible, but Hanssen said the decision should be Dominic’s. Dom said they should treat Jon.

There was a suspicion that Isaac might have been hurting his father. Xavier (Marcus Griffiths) noticed that he’d been sedated and there were needles found at his home, and of course this completely fits with what we know of Isaac’s character. The truth was more complex. When Jon was discovered to have a cancerous lump in his armpit, Isaac admitted to Dominic that he’d known about it before. Knowing that his father was in pain he’d been giving him opiates obtained with prescriptions written using Dominic’s GMC number. He left it to Dominic to decide whether to report him for this.

Dom is supported in Holby City
Dom has plenty of support (Picture: BBC)

Dom’s friends and family did their best to protect him, with his two mothers uniting in their defence of him. ‘We’re just two mums trying to protect our boy,’ as Carole said to Ange (Dawn Steele). Isaac hadn’t known that Ange was Dominic’s ‘secret’ mother, but he soon worked it out and now the whole hospital knows.

Will Lofty be the one to finally help pull Dominic out of this again? He told Dominic he’s ashamed of being unfaithful to him and wants him to come home. ‘There has to be a place for redemption,’ he said, but I worry that it’s Isaac’s redemption that Dominic has most in mind.

Zav wants to know what is going on in Holby City
Zav is suspicious (Picture: BBC)

This was serious and hard-hitting stuff, played with total conviction by everyone involved and particularly David Ames, who gives Dom’s story real psychological truth. Julia Deakin as Carole was once again heartbreaking in her unconditional and fierce love for her boy.

Fortunately the storyline on Darwin was much lighter. Former patient Ken Davies (Hamish Clark) was back. Ken was the drunk Christmas elf who was in the next bed to Jac after she was shot. He’s now a medical equipment sales rep and he wanted to sell Jac a high-tech piece of kit. He also seems rather fond of Jac and she used this to her advantage and got the medical machinery to keep – but her side of the bargain was to go out with Ken. ‘No touching!’ she commanded as they walked to the lift.

David and Nick fight in Coronation Street
(Picture: ITV)

There was no way David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) were going to keep their secret about Audrey’s (Sue Nicholls) money forever in Coronation Street, especially with the police sniffing around. And now the truth is set to come spilling out, and straight from the horse’s mouth.

The Platts all head off camping, but David’s heart is in his mouth when Natalie suddenly shows up unannounced. He realises the net is closing in, especially when Shona sees them talking together and ends their engagement over her jealousy. The cracks are showing and only he has the power to fix them.

Things are rapidly unravelling and he resolves to do the one thing that will end it all – tell the truth.

‘As soon as the police are involved, coming to the barbers and going through the accounts, then David thinks they’re screwed,’ Jack P Shepherd revealed. ‘He tells Nick they need to come clean now but Nick’s adamant they need to hold their nerve.’

But when the pressure becomes too much, David knows what he has to do.

‘[When Natalie arrives] He knows this is it, it’s all going to come out and he decides he wants to get in there first and come clean to Audrey,’ he said. ‘He’s just sick of lying, he’s spinning all these plates in the air and he doesn’t want to do it anymore. He wants to get it all off his chest and into the open, try and repay Audrey and fix what he’s done before it’s too late.’

David becomes fully resigned to his fete as he accepts that he could well go to prison.

‘The lies are eating him up, he knows he could go to prison but in his mind he deserves it and he’s prepared to face it so he can stop lying to his family,’ he said. But of course it means throwing his own brother under the bus in the process.

‘David thinks if he’s going down he’s going to take Nick down with him,’ Jack said. ‘David doesn’t think he’s going to get away scott free, there’s going to be consequences for the pair of them but he’s prepared to face that.’

Graham gives Megan money in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye) has had quite an eventful couple of weeks in Emmerdale. She’s still reeling from having knocked down Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell), but things are set to get even worse for her in the coming episodes.

Megan tries to drum up some business to pay her legal fees, but Take A Vow simply isn’t what it used to be after the whole fiasco involving Leyla Harding’s (Roxy Shahidi) brief fling with married man and ex-con Clive (Tom Chambers). However, not all hope is lost as — ever her knight in shining armour — Frank (Michael Praed) agrees to help her out.

In order to raise the cash, Megan knows full well that her best shot lies in hosting an event at Home Farm — something that would no doubt prove difficult given her history with Kim Tate (Claire King). Nonetheless, she attempts to get Kim on side but the Tate matriarch sees right through her — and delights in telling her where to go.

Later in the Woolpack, Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) tries to console Megan, but Kim arrives and decides to make a show of the Take A Vow owner, telling her that she should face the consequences of her actions in public for all to see.

In a shocking turn of events, Graham (Andrew Scarborough) offers to pay for Megan’s legal fees — the day before she moves in with Frank! Determined to not lose Frank’s respect — or her new place of residence — she decides to keep a lid on Graham’s offer for the time being. However, unbeknownst to her, Frank asks Rishi (Bhasker Patel) for a loan in order to help her out! Yikes.

With her two lovers unknowingly in competition with one another, will Megan come clean?

Frank is putting everything into getting her the cash she needs, but with Graham having a lot more money at his fingertips, this might be one battle he simply cannot win.

If he does learn of Graham’s offer, will he turn his back on his former lover once and for all?

Denny loses it in EastEnders

Dennis Rickman Jr (Bleu Landau) is most definitely a troubled kid, and because Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) hasn’t dealt with him properly, his behaviour is about to get so much worse that it could even leave Louise Mitchell’s (Tilly Keeper) health at risk.

After receiving a slap in the face at the Taylor’s picnic and believing Bailey (Kara-Leah Fernandes) to be the culprit, he starts cooking up a plan of revenge.

Dennis decides to target Chatham and Riley, so he gathers his friends together to stage a water balloon attack on them and shame them by posting it online.

The video circulates and the young lads are horrified, while Karen (Lorraine Stanley) vows to get to the bottom of it, unaware that Dennis is the culprit. Keanu (Danny Walters) and Keegan (Zack Morris) help in the search for who was behind it, but after a chat with Gray, the lads confess it’s Dennis who’s been terrorising them.

Karen races over to the Mitchells to confront them and Gray stands up to Phil to support her. Once they leave, Phil rounds on Sharon, who is adamant that Dennis had nothing to do with it, but an angry Dennis, furious at being accused, goes to leave – but takes his anger out on Louise as he gives her a hard shove.

Sharon later confesses that Dennis hit her and that his violence is only getting worse – and she later discovers Louise in tears – she’s still pregnant and the hard shove could have hurt her baby.

Is there any stopping Dennis?

Farrah and Grace Hollyoaks
(Picture: Lime Pictures)

Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Farrah Maalik (Krupa Pattani) haven’t had it easy in Hollyoaks, but their relationship is set to be tested further when Farrah’s desire to depart the village comes to light once more.

Yes, the doctor was left reeling several weeks back when she got an exciting new job opportunity. However, her delight soon turned to fear, as she worried about how Grace would react to the news. After taking some time to think over her options, and what with honesty being the best policy and all, she resolved to tell her girlfriend the truth.

Upon the revelation, Grace was understandably upset, but she had little time to comprehend the full extent of what this would mean for her relationship with Farrah before she was involved in an accident — an incident which of course put the doc’s hopes and dreams on the back burner.

With Grace’s injuries having been serious, her recovery is taking longer than expected. However, she receives a devastating blow when she learns that Farrah didn’t actually cancel her flight to Canada. Awkward.

The big question here is: how will she react to learning that Farrah still wants to leave? It’ll be a tough pill for her to swallow that’s for sure, but will she confront her partner on the matter?

Meanwhile, Farrah’s family remain adamant that she should grab the job with both hands — which leaves her all the more conflicted.

Will Farrah board the flight and leave the village — and Grace — in her rear view mirror?

It’s a tough one, considering how well they’d been getting on before the job opportunity threw a spanner in the works.

One to watch: Monday 27th May at 7pm on E4.

Carla gets a message in Coronation Street
(Picture: ITV)

Coronation Street’s Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) has become desperate to help Carla Connor (Alison King), but as she slips further into psychosis, she slips further away from him.

In a special episode focused on Carla’s mental health, she suffers a severe psychotic episode, which sees her begin to hallucinate and come to believe those close to her who have died have come back to life.

She finds herself in a dangerous situation when she follows a hallucination she believes to be Hayley up a fire escape, and Peter is almost powerless to help.

He feels like she’s completely lost to him, but can he still rescue her?

Alison King has revealed some light at the end of the tunnel of Carla’s struggles as she’s confirmed Carla and Peter will survive this terrible ordeal.

Asked how important their relationship is, Alison said: ‘It is really important, he has shown her that he will do anything for her still and she can trust him, he has literally saved her through his perseverance and believing that Carla is still in there and the belief she can come back.’

She added that they will be more solid than ever: ‘That is worth fighting for so I think they will become more solid than they have ever been.’

So there’s hope for Carla’s recovery yet, and with any luck this will be the step forward for her and Peter to get their lives back on track following such devastation, especially when the true culprit behind the roof collapse is finally revealed.
