Romance for Ziggy and Dean in Home and Away?
Ziggy and Dean have been mates for a while (Picture: Channel 5)

A love triangle has been emerging between Dean (Patrick O’Connor), Willow (Sarah Roberts) and Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) since Willow spotted the pair getting closer and realised she was jealous. Her jealousy led to her confessing her feelings during a night out, but Dean said there was nothing between him and Ziggy, and he wasn’t looking for a relationship.

Dean and Willow see Maggie (Kestie Morassi) and Ziggy arguing outside the surf club, and Willow encourages him to go and check on her. He comments that Ziggy looks a little rough around the edges, and she admits she only had a few hours of sleep.

Later, Willow is dejected when she asks Dean if he wants to get dinner and he says he already has plans to have pizza with Ziggy. At the caravan park, Ziggy struggles to stay awake, and Dean offers to take her home. However, Ziggy still wants to avoid Maggie, so Dean suggests she spends the night at his place.

Meanwhile, Colby (Tim Franklin) and Willow discuss Dean, and Colby suggests that she should fight for him if she wants to be with him. Left with food for thought, Willow thinks about what the best plan of action is.

In the morning, Ziggy wakes up in Dean’s bed. Dean is making her breakfast outside, and Ziggy is happy she spent the night there. However, Willow is approaching the caravan park, determined to see Dean and confess her feelings again.

Willow sees Ziggy emerging from Dean’s van, and is stunned. She backs off and leaves before either of them notice her. Have Ziggy and Dean slept together?

Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) to be exposed?
(Picture: ITV)

Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) have been playing a dangerous game, and they know they’re on borrowed time with the police still sniffing around in Coronation Street.

Nick has been trying to cover up the fact he stole £80,000 from his gran, but the police just won’t let up and they’re dangerously close to discovering the truth – he’s at even more risk given that Natalie is hanging around like a bad smell, the woman he paid to steal the money.

Having scored herself a job at the barber’s, Natalie nags David to give her some proper training, she really does want to make a proper go of it. She also reveals it’s her birthday and he sends her on an early lunch.

David finds Natalie in the pub, and he’s unimpressed when he sees she’s knocking back birthday drinks, so he steers her back to work.

Back at the barber’s she annoys Nick by making drunken jibes at his dodgy dealings. He’s starting to get worried that she won’t keep her mouth shut.

Shortly after, the police want Nick to answer more questions.

Nick and David panic, aware that if the police go through the accounts they’ll want to know where the large sum of cash came from. Nick piqued the police’s suspicions previously when he failed in his attempts at explaining it. Now what will he do?

First he turns to Paula (Stirling Gallacher) for help. Will she be able to help them get away with it? Or will they finally be rumbled?

Emmerdale spoilers: Dean Andrew reveals Will is ‘more dangerous than Cain Dingle’ and is out for devastating revenge

Is Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) more dangerous than Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley)?
(Picture: ITV/Getty)

Move over Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley). There’s a new bad lad in town in the form of Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), who’s set to put the Dingle to shame in Emmerdale.

The Dales won’t know what’s hit them with Will swanning about town, hell bent on getting terrible revenge on Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton), and he’s just getting started.

Will is a top dog drug baron, driving around in swanky cars and running illegal operations. He didn’t get there by being nice and with over a decade and a half of time in prison, he’s had time to hone his evil streak.

Cain has always been the one not to cross in the village, but he’s about to be dethroned in favour of the evil Will, who is even more dangerous than anyone who’s gone before.

Asked if he is actually more dangerous than Cain, actor Dean Andrews said: ‘Yeah, for sure. Well he has been in a world. I know that Cain has been in and out, and he is a Dingle and he’s done some fighting in the village, and that kind of stuff. But I’ve just been in prison for 15 years.

Will (Dean Andrews) tries to kill Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) with a coffin in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

‘And before that I’ve dealt with every scrote in history, and hard men and people who wanted money, but I’ve kept the top position. Until Harriet toppled me.’

So the villagers should be afraid, very afraid.

He added: ‘I’ve never been a drug baron, but you don’t keep that position without being the kind of guy that you don’t really want to mess with.’

Dean revealed that Will wouldn’t even see Cain as a threat. Especially Harriet, who’s set to be squashed by a coffin as part of Will’s torment.

‘Will doesn’t really have any inclination about Cain because they’ve not met. But as someone who does know the show I would think that my character has the capabilities of knowing people way, way more dangerous than Cain,’ Dean explained.

Dawn (Olivia Bromley) confronts her dad Will (Dean Andrews)
(Picture: ITV)

They might not have met just yet, but they’ll certainly cross paths in the future. And for once, Cain really should watch out.

‘It’s got to happen at some point, I’d imagine,’ he said. ‘I don’t know that, by the way! Jeff’s a great actor. I just think on screen it’d be pretty nice to have a tussle for a few months. I don’t know what could come out of that.

‘Hard men are hard men, aren’t they? I hope that they keep my ‘hard man’ level at a level and they’ve kept Jeff’s at a level for a long time. It’d be great to do some stuff with him. And Harriet, and keep something going with Harriet – whether it be vengeance or whether we become okay.’

Whoa there, could Harriet actually forgive the whole stuffing her in a coffin thing and rekindle things with Will?

‘It’s that point where you never quite know until that person’s right in front of you,’ Dean laughed. ‘I suppose we’ve all had a relationship where one moment you’re like, ‘I can’t stand you’, and next moment you’re back in love.

‘I guess that is quite a jump from jail. But it is Emmerdale! I don’t know. I don’t know until that moment arrives. I don’t want him to be awful all the time.’

Will is forced to help end the life of a patient in Casualty
(Picture: BBC)

Will (Jack Nolan) found himself in an impossible situation in tonight’s Casualty, one that could affect the rest of his life.

The doctor was surprised to come face to face with a patient called Toby Williams (Harry Gilby), who previously asked Will to help end his life if his terminal condition got too much for him.

Will had agreed, hoping that the day wouldn’t come any time soon, but Toby’s condition had rapidly deteriorated and as far as he was concerned, that day had come.

Toby said he didn’t want any further treatment, but Will argued along with his mum Jackie (Kirsty Bushell) that there were other options to try.

Archie argued that Toby shouldn’t have to suffer any longer, and told Will he was just avoiding making a difficult decision.

Torn and under pressure to do what he perceived to be the right thing, Will finally made his decision, and tampered with Toby’s drip. Toby later passed away in emotional scenes.

But now that Will has actually intentionally killed a patient, what will happen to him now? Could he lose his new job in the ED, having been given the role of consultant by Connie Beauchamp (Amanda Mealing)?

Casualty review with spoilers: Charlie and Duffy renew their vows and Will involved in sad death

Will helped a patient die in Casualty
(Picture: BBC)

Once again there were storylines that packed a real emotional punch in tonight’s Casualty. From the poignant moments when Charlie (Derek Thompson) and Duffy (Cathy Shipton) renewed their vows, to the awful tragedy of a young boy’s life being cut short at the age of just 15, it was quite a weepy.

Last time we saw Toby Williams (Harry Gilby), he asked Will (Jack Nolan) to help him when his terminal condition got too much to bear. Will was probably hoping that the day would be very far off, or something would happen to mean he didn’t have to face the decision. Unfortunately Toby’s condition deteriorated and he was brought back to the ED.

Toby asks Will to help him die in Casualty
Toby asks for Will’s help (Picture: BBC)

Will had just been offered the consultancy post by Connie (Amanda Mealing), so he pulled rank when Archie (Genesis Lynea) was assigned to look after Toby and said he wanted to be involved too. When it became clear that Toby would die very soon and he insisted he didn’t want any further treatment, Will tended to side with Toby’s mum Jackie (Kirsty Bushell) in thinking that all treatment options should be tried. Archie argued strongly that Toby shouldn’t have to suffer. She said Will was sitting on the fence and hiding behind Jackie so he didn’t have to make the difficult decision to help Toby end his life.

In the end, Will did do something to Toby’s drip, and Toby died not long afterwards. Whether there’ll be any repercussions for Will, we’ll have to wait and see, but it was a hugely emotional storyline beautifully played by Jack Nolan, Harry Gilby and Kirsty Bushell. After Toby died, Will told Connie he didn’t think he wanted to take the consultant’s job, but she told him he needs to do it to prove how good he can be.

Ruby is concerned she's being lied to in Casualty
Ruby is concerned (Picture: BBC)

It was a much happier day for Charlie and Duffy, though of course one tinged with sadness because of her dementia. When they were being all lovey-dovey at work, David (Jason Durr) had the idea that they could renew their vows. Noel (Tony Marshall), Jade (Gabriella Leon) and Robyn (Amanda Henderson) immediately joined in and they came up with a plan to have the ceremony in the pub that very night. Noel in particular got very excited about the whole thing and even had Charlie and Duffy masks made up at very short notice.

Meanwhile, Charlie took Duffy to the special spot by the river where he used to go and have his fag breaks back in the day. While this doesn’t sound like the most romantic location on earth, it was actually the spot where Charlie, ‘first realised that Lisa Duffin was not just my best mate, my friend. It’s where I finally admitted that I love you.’ So they renewed their vows privately right there and then and it was rather beautiful. ‘I will be by your side every single step,’ Charlie said, and Duffy said she would cherish him ‘through whatever comes our way till death do us part.’

Elsewhere, Ruby (Maddy Hill) was taken in when Dani (Georgia Hughes) told her it would have been her mother’s birthday. She gave Dani a tour of the ambulance station, but then got spooked when she discovered that Dani had been lying about the birthday and asked her to leave. Dani left after first quietly stealing Ruby’s stethoscope from her locker – and she had a glint in her eye that suggests Ruby’s problems are only just beginning.

Ben has been using Lola to do his bidding, forcing her away from her fiance to make her help carry out his plan to overthrow his dad, and make a huge pile of cash in the process.

He’s often threatened her into submission and she’s been trapped in his lies to keep her own secrets safe.

But she is set to learn a startling truth when she comes face to face with Ewan – her ex fiance.

He appears in the Square and tells her he’s come to take her and Lexi back home. Lola flips, firmly putting him in his place.

A special Hollyoaks episode is planned for Laurie and Sinead's rape storyline
(Picture: Lime Pictures)

Laurie Shelby’s (Kyle Pryor) abhorrent treatment of his wife has been building over the last few weeks, but is the sadistic school teacher about to get his comeuppance?

A very special episode is set to follow what happens next with Sienna (Anna Passey), Sinead Shelby (Stephanie Davis) and Laurie as Sinead finally tells the truth.

At the point of the episode, Sienna has already kidnapped Laurie in a bid to get him to confess, but he breaks free and Brody and Liberty arrive just in time to stop her from doing something stupid to him.

After he’s let go, Laurie arrives home and takes his frustrations out on Sinead, horrifically raping her again.

Broken by the latest violence, Sinead later finally admits to Tony and Diane what’s been happening.

In the special episode, airing on Tuesday 21st May on E4 and Wednesday 22nd May on Channel 4, Sinead recalls everything that happened with the police and a flashback reveals what happened when she told Diane and Tony the truth.

Laurie is then seen talking to the police, but no doubt he’ll have a few things to say to try and cover his back. He might be disgusting, but he’s clever and knows how to manipulate a situation.

Sienna stands strong when the police arrive on her doorstep. She is ready for what comes next in bringing Laurie down.

But Nancy for one, is on Laurie’s side and she tells the police that Sinead is trouble. She has no idea how much her words could harm Sinead’s case.

Sinead spins a lie for the police in a bid to make Laurie look more guilty – she changes the date that Laurie originally raped her, thinking that if she tells them the truth they won’t believe it because a happy picture of them was posted online so soon after. She tells them it happened on 1st April.

But could her tiny lie cause problems in the long run?

Emmerdale spoilers: Shock new romance for Kim Tate?

Kim Tate could be set for a shock new romance
(Picture: ITV/Getty/Metro.co.uk)

Is Kim Tate (Claire King) about to find herself some hot new totty in Emmerdale?

She clearly needs something, having previously got the horn for Cain Dingle and attempted to make him her sex slave.

He said no, leaving her very frustrated indeed. But she might be about to find an outlet for that frustration when it lands on her doorstep.

But will she be able to handle him?

New boy Nate arrived in town a bundle of innocence and was shocked to find the woman he’d had a passionate kiss with during a night out in Hotton and couldn’t get out of his head – Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).

She of course scarpered at the sight of him, but he was so enraptured with her that he couldn’t stop going on about her to his new boss – her boyfriend, Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan).

Of course that all went horrendously Pete Tong when Nate found the woman in question in the pub, and had the shock realisation he’d kissed his boss’ girlfriend and cost himself his job without actually doing anything wrong.

The thing was, Nate was actually telling the truth, and Rhona found herself with some explaining to do.

But either way, nothing is going to come of that illicit snog, so Nate is now a free agent to go on the prowl in the village, and he’s clearly got the eye for older ladies, so it seems he could set his sights on Kim Tate.

Actor Jurell Carter revealed that Nate has a penchant for older women.

Nate has an eye for the older ladies - is Kim one of them?
(Picture: ITV)

When asked if there were any Nate has his eye on, Jurell told metro.co.uk: ‘Yeah, it could pan out to be like that. There’s a few women, he definitely does like the ladies. For me, he likes the older ladies, but he likes the ones around his age as well, so I don’t he’s just for older women. So everyone!’

Not picky then, eh?

Happily for Pete, he admitted that Nate will give up the chase on Rhona after realising that won’t be going anywhere.

‘I think for me, Nate is a very loyal character,’ he said. ‘I think if he knew that she was already taken for – he even says to Pete – he wouldn’t have gone there. So I think him knowing that she’s in a relationship he calls it off straight away. I don’t think he would pursue it, no.’

Could he and Kim be drawn together as he searches for a job now that he’s been sacked?

Asked what poor Nate will now do for work, he said: ‘I think he’s because he’s always done farming, that’s the go-to for him and that’s his bread and butter, in a sense. I think he’s gonna kind of find another job in the farming industry, I think so. Or stay in the village, I’m not too sure.

‘He knows this is a messed up situation, he knows he’s not in the wrong but he knows to avoid any more distress to anybody.’

So Nate is inherently a good guy, but could Kim be the one to recruit him to the bad side?

Is Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia) still alive?
(Picture: ITV)

During Carla Connor’s (Alison King) breakdown she became convinced Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia) is still alive in Coronation Street – could she be on to something? Or could this be a sign of just how bad things have got?

Carla had come to believe that Rana was still alive after receiving texts supposedly from her. It transpired it was Alya (Sair Khan) behind the texts, but Carla fled the street in horror before finding out. Having been away for weeks, her belief that Rana isn’t dead has festered, and morphed into a conspiracy against Kate Connor (Faye Brookes).

After Peter’s (Chris Gascoyne) fruitless search for her, Carla is set to return after Roy (David Neilson) visits a hotel where she was last seen.

Roy is shocked by the state of the hotel room and realises she needs serious help, unknowing that she is stood listening in the shadows.

Later, he’s shocked to find her standing in his home, and she reveals she knows Kate is hiding Rana and that she’s just telling everyone Rana is dead.

But Roy can see she is seriously unwell and encourages her to go to hospital. When she eventually gets help, she’s put on anti-psychotic medication to help combat her hallucinations. Rana is most definitely dead, Kate held her hand as she died and she was buried in a traditional ceremony in front of her family.

Peter tells Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) that he’s moving her into their house but Ken refuses to let it happen. Peter’s back up plan is to move into Roy’s, and through his guilt he agrees, despite both Peter and Carla being unwell.

But Carla doesn’t want Roy around and he’s forced to move out and in with Ken. Are Carla and Peter well enough to look after each other or could this lead to worse things to come?

Willow and Dean have a long history together (Picture: Channel 5)

Dean (Patrick O’Connor) has been getting closer to Ziggy (Sophie Dillman), and this has led to tensions between him and Willow (Sarah Roberts). However, Ziggy clearly needs Dean as she struggles to move past Brody’s (Jackson Heywood) cheating scandal, and the pair have an emotional moment on the beach when she runs to him with news about Brody, trying to pretend she’s OK but failing at covering it up. Dean tells her Brody is an idiot for leaving her, and heads back to his van.

When Dean returns, he’s shocked to find a naked Willow in his bed. She tells him that she doesn’t know what she’s been waiting for – she wants to be with him now, not at some point in the future. There’s a moment of silence before Dean tells her to put her clothes back on and leaves her alone to do so. Willow is left completely thrown.

Outside, Willow tries to justify herself by saying she was worried Dean was starting a relationship with Ziggy and wanted to stop it. However, Dean is feeling hurt and used, and denies there’s anything going on with Ziggy. He asks Willow what kind of person would do what she just did. Willow tries to apologise, but Dean walks away.

Willow goes home and confesses what she did to Jasmine (Sam Frost), saying he used to wait in bed naked for her when they were together and he thought it would work, but now she’s worried she’s destroyed her friendship. She says she should have just been happy to be mates, instead of pushing for something more.

Dean arrives at Colby’s (Tim Franklin) place, and tells him what happened with Willow. When Colby admits he’s been giving Willow relationship advice, he’s furious that they were talking about him behind his back. He suggests that he might be better off without Colby’s friendship, too…

EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt and former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison are said to be in the line-up for Celebrity MasterChef.

The Ian Beale actor is one of the stars rumoured to be cooking up a storm on the show this year.

While his soap character might know his way around the kitchen because of restaurant business, will that transfer to the man behind Beale?

His friendship with chef Marco Pierre White could give him the edge if the celebrity cook decides to give the actor some pointers ahead of filming.

While we haven’t seen much of Vicky’s culinary talents, the TV personality is a bold businesswoman who will no doubt throw herself wholeheartedly into the challenge.

Also said to be in the line-up are ex-Gogglebox star Dom Parker, heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte and boxing promoter Kellie Maloney, according to The Mirror.

Who will have what it takes to impress judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode?

Contestants on the celebrity version of the show last year included The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge, Towie star Gemma Collins, actress Chizzy Akudolu and Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer AJ Pritchard.

The series was won by former EastEnders actor John Partridge, so he is also well-placed to give Woodyatt some advice.

After his win, he paid tribute to his late mum, saying he ‘definitely had an angel on my shoulder for that final cook’.

Or if he can’t get in touch with John, Adam could reach out to MasterChef 2013 winner Adrian Edmondson, who has just joined the BBC soap as a potential love interest for cancer-stricken Jean Slater.

Metro.co.uk has contacted the BBC for comment.

Celebrity MasterChef is set to return to BBC One.

Stephanie Davis tonight opened up on the Hollyoaks rape storyline she recently filmed after returning to the soap as Sinead Shelby.

The actress told Metro.co.uk on the Bafta TV Awards red carpet on Sunday night it ‘felt like going home’ heading back on set and she’s evidently got important messages to share that are also personal.

Stephanie is currently starring in a storyline which has seen her character Sinead brutally raped by her own husband Laurie (Kyle Pryor), but is struggling to come to terms with what has happened to her.

Having gone through her own personal turmoil after an acrimonious split with former boyfriend Jeremy McConnell, played out in the public eye, she told us: ‘It was my priority to help people with what I’ve been through.

‘And it’s already helped so many people.’

She added of the ‘overwhelming’ response she’s received from viewers of the long-running soap that she was happy to ‘bring justice’ to the delicate and sensitive storyline.

‘[It’s a] big story line it’s been really challenging, but I’ve done it and I’ve done it justice. I’m really happy with it.

‘It’s overwhelming right now.’

Following the controversy of her personal life, she admitted: ‘It was hard…I know who I am as a person and everything came out in the wash and I’m happier now.’

Finding the silver lining, Stephanie said she now gets ‘to help people with my experiences.’

She previously took to Twitter ahead of tonight’s event to thank fans for voting for her, admitting that filming the harrowing storyline had been ‘close to home’ having suffered a similar experience herself and revealing that rape survivors have reached out to her for her portrayal of their plight.

She wrote: ‘I felt privileged to have this story line, especially as it’s so close to a part of my own life. I’m so grateful for all your messages & to those I have helped.

‘I cannot believe the amount of people who have spoke out & reached out. The fact I’ve got to help people just means everything! Filming this storyline was very hard for me as you could imagine, at the beginning I didn’t quite know how I was going to do it and film it, but I did.

‘I gave it my everything and with the freedom & trust of my amazing directors they let me do what I had to do with each scene to make it believable & as real as possible as I had had that experience to know how to get this story line across as powerful & as real as possible.’

Colby (Tim Franklin) and Jasmine (Sam Frost) had decided to pretend their drunken kiss during a night out at a club never happened, but it turns out one of Ziggy’s (Sophie Dillman) selfies from the night managed to capture the two of them mid-smooch in the background. When Dean (Patrick O’Connor) shows Colby the zoomed-in photo, Colby immediately realises he has to tell Jasmine – and Robbo (Jake Ryan).

He heads to the beach house to find Jasmine, but finds Willow (Sarah Roberts) instead, who informs him Jasmine has gone to see Robbo. Heading to Salt, Colby goes to the bar, and sends Jasmine a text, which she receives while sat opposite Robbo. This starts to make her anxiety spiral.

He texts her again, and Robbo begins to become suspicious as to why she’s suddenly getting messages. He turns around and sees Colby looking at her, and Jasmine dashes away from their lunch. When Colby heads after her, Robbo is even more suspicious.

Robbo confronts Colby, asking him what’s going on, and they head to his office at the gym to talk. Colby explains how the kiss happens and takes full responsibility, saying he kissed her and it meant nothing. Robbo is stunned and left lost for words.

Later that night, Robbo appears at the beach house, and Irene (Lynne McGranger) answers the door. He tells her that he’s prepared to leave the Bay – for good. What he doesn’t realise is that Jasmine is in the corridor, listening. Is their relationship really over?

EastEnders has beaten off competition from Coronation Street, Casualty and Hollyoaks to win the Continuting Award (or best soap to you and I) at the TV Bafta Awards 2019. The soap has experienced a resurgence after a number of questionable years with episodes such as the knife crime funeral and the consent episode involving Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) in the Queen Vic setting them apart from their tough competition.

As the award was announced cast including Danny Dyer took to the stage to accept. This year, Emmerdale was snubbed for the nomination and last year’s winner was Casualty.

In recent months, EastEnders has undergone a number of major changes with Kate Oates and Jon Sen taking the helm of the popular drama. With less block storytelling and improved characterisations plus the celebrated and dramatic returns of Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky) and Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden), EastEnders seems to be getting back to where it’s meant to be.

And having a freshly polished Bafta on its mantelpiece will do that increasing reputation no harm.

Coronation Street had storylines including Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward)’s suicide while Casualty aired the rape of Alicia Munroe (Chelsea Halfpenny) while Hollyoaks had the much acclaimed footballer abuse storyline.

EastEnders’ former boss John Yorke has thanked Kate Oates, aka the soap awards magnet, for leaving Coronation Street to move over to the BBC soap. Kate now oversees all of the BBC’s serial dramas including EastEnders, Holby City, Casualty and Doctors.

She has made sweeping changes to the soap, which tonight won the TV Bafta award for continuing drama (aka soap) after being snubbed for even a nomination last year. Episodes including the consent episode and the funeral of Shakil have represented EastEnders this year.

It has beaten off competition from Hollyoaks, Coronation Street and Casualty.

Accepting the award, John – who has now left the show – said: ‘Thank you so much, we are thrilled tor receive this. If I was to thank everybody I needed to thank I would be standing here for the next hour and you would be throwing rocks at me. It’s invidious to choose anyone from our extraordinary cast, crew, writers and directors. Finally, I must thank Kate Oates for leaving Coronation Street.’

Despite rumours that Kate was axed from Coronation Street, she made the decision to leave after increasing the show’s ratings and awards and saving lives with male mental health issues including suicide and rape.

The titan producer is now practically dominating the BBC and by no small coincidence, the awards have already started piling in.

Among other things, Kate has initiated the return of Sean Slater, overseen a big shift in character interactions, launched a big storyline for the Mitchells and introduced the Atkins family, who have a major storyline in the pipeline.

There are way more secrets for Harriet Finch (KAtherine Dow Blyton) and Will (Dean Andrews)
(Picture: ITV)

Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) is in for the shock of her life when she learns her ex Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) is very much alive and is the one psychologically torturing her.

Will has had 15 years in prison to stew on how he wants to get his own back on Harriet, and now he’s at the point of exacting his plan, it could end up being worse than even he imagined.

But as the story plays out, there will be way more danger and secrets than viewers first realise, with big twists set to arise – for one, Harriet will be crushed by a coffin!

Asked if Harriet could ever contemplate getting back together with Will now that we know everything that went on, actress Katherine Dow Blyton coyly replied to metro.co.uk: ‘I don’t think people know everything yet.’

What else could Will have on her? Will Dawn get caught in the crossfire?

But being a vicar, Harriet will still consider forgiving him.

‘Being a vicar is not just a job, it’s a vocation and she has a very strong faith, despite the fact that she makes lots of mistakes,’ Katherine said. ‘Even though he is not the nicest of men, I think she’s knew that he wasn’t just a drug dealer and people don’t just have one hideous side to them.

‘I don’t know, maybe she thinks she’s partly responsible for everything and maybe thinks he deserves a chance.’

Katherine added that Harriet will get a heads up that Will is back when one of her former colleagues looks in to a list of names of people who could be targeting her. But she will be horrified to learn that Dawn had anything to do with it.

Asked if seeing Will will be a shock, she said: ‘No because she’s got one of her mates off the force to look into it all for her. She’s asked them to come up with some names of those who might bear grudges from her past.

‘Obviously, she sees his name on this list and she says, “I absolutely know he’s dead” – cut to – he’s not dead at all! That’s the initial shock but then she realises that he must be the one who is stalking her because it all starts to fall into place. But she doesn’t ever think it’s got anything to do with Dawn.’

How will Harriet react when she finds out the truth?
