Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) is horrified to discover that Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) has been forced to self-isolate in a hotel in Coronation Street after a colleague displays coronavirus symptoms.
Ed has been worried about the amount of hours Aggie has been working as of late, but there’s more heartache ahead for the pair in the coming episodes.
Aggie is forced to get the bus to work as their car won’t start, and Ed later relays this information to Abi (Sally Carman).
Abi informs Ed that Aggie is welcome to use Kevin’s (Michael Le Vell) car until their’s is fixed, as the cobbles residents are incredibly grateful to her for putting herself on the front line at the hospital — something which leaves Ed touched.
Later in the week, the Bailey’s 30th wedding anniversary arrives, and Ed is disappointed to discover that Aggie can’t stay for a celebratory breakfast, as she has to run out to work early.
Therefore, he suggests a surprise online party, but Michael warns him that might not be the best idea. The patriarch refuses to listen, and thus he makes preparations for such a party.
However, Aggie later phones Ed and reveals that she has to isolate in a hotel for a while, as a colleague has displayed Covid-19 symptoms.
Naturally, Ed is gutted at such a revelation, but later in the week, he dresses in his best clothes and sits down to a virtual anniversary dinner with Aggie via video call, and — touched by the lengths he’s gone to — Aggie toasts to the next thirty years.

Rhona was desperate to impress Moira and secure the restaurant deal with Ricky, and therefore she listened to Nate’s proposition, as he suggested that Wylies and Butlers could work together to make the order.
The vet ultimately agreed, but felt incredibly guilty about keeping such information from Moira.
Moira recovers in the coming episodes, and as she attempts to recall what happened on the night of the hit and run, both she and Cain begin to grow closer.
Their moment is interrupted by Matty (Ash Palmisciano), and matters are complicated further when he ultimately lets slip about Rhona’ partnership with Nate.
Moira is fuming, and wants action taken immediately, but Cain intervenes, and suggests they try something different
The question is: just what has he in mind?

There are huge scenes ahead in a major week for Coronation Street as Gary Windass (Mikey North) faces the end of the road, quite literally, in soap’s first socially distanced stunt.
But will Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) keep his murder secret? Elsewhere, Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) is becoming more and more unnerved by Elaine’s (Paula Cox) arrival – and he has a good right as she vows to Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) to do all she can to save Yasmeen (Shelley King).
Monday 27 July
Yasmeen wakes up in hospital after her heart attack and learns the trial has been exposed. Elaine is sad to hear that Tim believes Geoff’s side of the story.
Brian is annoyed that Bernie sold the watch and sold it to Sarah. Gary apologises to Brian but he is panicked when he hears about the watch in the wood.
Ed explains that Aggie had to get the bus to work. Abi tells Ed that Aggie can use Kevin’s car since the neighbourhood is so grateful for her putting herself on the frontline.
Mary gives a rendition from her upstairs window until Sean tells her to pack in her balcony singing.

It’s the Baileys’ wedding anniversary and Ed is disappointed to miss out on breakfast with Aggie. Michael warns Ed against an online party. Jenny prepares a buffet but Aggie phones to say she has to isolate as her colleague has been displaying COVID-19 symptoms. Ed is gutted as she will be in a hotel for the forseeable.
Gary pays Bernie cash for the watch and begs her to do her best to get it back from Sarah. Bernie cajoles Sarah but Sarah realises Gary wants it and she is suspicious. She demands to know from Gary if he killed Rick. After a shocking revelation Sarah flees into the path of a van. Gary pushes her out of the way – and is hit by the van instead.
Alya is delighted to get in touch with Elaine, who tells her she will give evidence against Geoff and will help Yasmeen.
Friday 31 July
Gary is in a bad way and Sarah pleads with him to wake up. Tyrone phones an ambulance and Gary is rushed to hospital – but will Sarah keep his secret. Adam and Maria arrive at the hospital and Sarah explains that Gary saved her life. Tyrone describes that he saw Gary chasing her but Sarah lies that it was a pure coincidence. Adam is dubious but tells the police she is too shaken to give a statement.
Geoff claims that Elaine is lying to a doubtful Tim. Tim assures Geoff that he will report Elaine to the police and he tells Sally about the visit but Sally is convinced that Geoff is lying. Alya implores Elaine not to leave – she is Yasmeen’s only hope. What will Elaine do?
Ed is sad about his anniversary but James and Michael try to lift his spirits. Ed sits for a virtual anniversary dinner with Aggie and she is touched.

Adam Woodyatt returns to Walford East for another edition of EastEnders’ new series Secrets From The Square, and this time, he brings with him on-sceen mum and all-round icon, Gillian Taylforth.
Adam and Gillian — who portray son and mother duo Ian and Kathy Beale — join Stacey Dooley to relive their highlights on the BBC One soap thus far, recalling their greatest moments and revealing behind the scenes gossip.
During the special episode, Gillian will discuss the nerves that she felt while filming Kathy’s top secret return storyline in 2015 amid the soap’s 30th anniversary.
A moment we’ll never forget!
Meanwhile, Adam will also spill the beans on the real reason as to why he had to wear a hat throughout the storyline which saw Ian become homeless.
The pair, who actually refer to one another as ‘Mum’ and ‘Son’ even when the cameras aren’t rolling, open up about their unique 35-year friendship, and highlight why it wasn’t unusual for Adam to rock up at Gillian’s house for food at 2am.
(Picture: BBC)
The Walford icons take a trip back into the archives to discuss their biggest scenes, as they reveal their own stories about the moments in question.
Amid all of the memories, the duo will tell the story of their very first meeting — which took place during rehearsals for the soap in 1984.
What’s more, Gillian will reveal who Kathy’s favourite son is.
A revelation worthy of a Doof Doof, we reckon!
It won’t all be trips down memory lane though, as both actors will reveal what’s ahead for Ian and Kathy when EastEnders return in the Autumn.
Stacey also gets a tour of No. 45 Albert Square, which is the iconic Beale household, and was previously home to the Fowlers.

Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) will tonight get in touch with her monstrous husband Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) after speaking with his ex Elaine (Paula Wilcox) in Coronation Street -and he will be left shocked by what she says to him.
Yasmeen was stunned when Elaine revealed that she isn’t actually a charity worker but a former partner of Geoff’s and she goes on to reveal that she too was subjected to years of abuse at his hands.
As Yasmeen reels from this information, she speaks to her cellmate Lucie (Nicola Duffett) about the development and Lucie warns her that Geoff can never change.
She urges Yasmeen to give it to him both barrels but Yasmeen still has Geoff’s promises in her head that everything will be different when they get back together.
Yasmeen braces herself and Geoff is surprised to hear from her. He again assures her that he will change and be a better man and Yasmeen implies that she is ready to trust him and give things another chance.
But is Yasmeen telling the truth or is she turning the tables on her manipulative husband – and if so, will he see through it?
What’s more, when he puts her to the test, will she be able to keep it up – or will she regret making the phone call?

Asked how he was feeling at the 13-mile stage of the walk, Danny – who plays Aaron Dingle on Emmerdale – said: ‘I’m a little bit nervous, I’m walking there.
‘I’ve never said I’m gonna go near the stadium, I’m gonna abide by government guidelines.
‘We’re going to Anfield and finding somewhere separate to watch it where we’ll be socially distanced.’
The soap star also spoke about his charity, which provides emotional and practical support to bereaved families in Manchester and the North West.
‘During the pandemic we’ve lost a lot of money so I’m doing this as a way of getting us back on track,’ he said.
‘We’ve done about 13 miles, we’re on the way and we’re looking forward to getting back on track.’

He previously said of his fundraising journey: ‘I have waited years to be there when Liverpool finally lift the premier league and now I can’t even see that in person. But I’ll get as close as I can with the help and support from my beloved friends and followers.
‘I want to combine two things I’ve had taken away from me during COVID-19 – which is the access to our fantastic charity HQ and my second love of my seat at Anfield. ‘So I decided to add them together and try and earn some vital funds for my beloved charity and help us on the road back to some normality.’

Kim Tate (Claire King) is not used to being on the back foot or out of the loop but Andrea (Anna Nightingale) is set to declare her authority at Home Farm by revealing Jamie’s (Alexander Lincoln) criminal secret in Emmerdale.
It was Andrea that Jamie sought help from when he ran down Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) and fled the scene. While Moira’s loved ones are looking at DI Malone (Mark Womack) as their prime suspect, Jamie has been living with the guilt of his actions.
Still devastated by her husband’s affair with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), Andrea has turned this to her advantage, determined not to let her marriage fall apart.
In exchange for her silence over what happened to Moira, Jamie has to forget about Belle and stay with his family – but it’s a set-up that is leaving fans uncomfortable as Andrea may never get back the love she craves from her love rat husband.
Tonight, Kim arrives back and is less than impressed to find that Andrea has her feet under the table. But as she is in the process of insisting she gets out and leaves her son alone for good, Andrea turns the tables.
Revealing that she could have Jamie sent to prison for the hit and run which almost killed Moira, Andrea leaves Kim stumped and it’s clear who is now in control.
But how will Kim respond – and is Andrea taking a dangerous risk by daring to cross Kim?
It hasn’t ended well for many who have tried to get the better of her…

Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has responded to Sherrie Hewson’s claims that the show’s cast don’t take glamour as seriously these days and that she missed people turning up well dressed for work.
Kym, who played Michelle Connor in the soap, has pointed out that it wouldn’t make sense for stars to glam up to attend a 7am start at work – especially when they would then be expected to get into costume.
Sherrie – who played Maureen Holdsworth – had said: ‘There used to be a tradition of glamour. People used to dress up to come to work. I think maybe it is a generational thing.
‘Bill Roache was always smart. He always wore a suit. Barbara Knox was the queen of the street and she still is. Everything immaculate, you know – the clothes, the hair…
‘I always took that from her. Like, “You should always look fabulous when you come to work. Not sloppy.”
‘It is different. Everybody has got running clothes on as they are just about to go for a run before they go to work. I loved the glamour.’
Kym has explained in her OK! column that it simply wouldn’t be practical – especially as the show now films six episodes a week.
She explained: ‘Nowadays, a lot of the actors turn up in comfy clothes. Things have changed, but I think the stars of the soaps have changed with the times. We are often expected on set at 7am and have to go through hair, make-up and wardrobe.
‘It wouldn’t make sense for us to be glammed up because we’d have to get that all stripped off.
‘Shows like Coronation Street also have more episodes now than they used to, which means we don’t get the luxury of rehearsals and days on set can be 12 hours.’
Given that we have barely got out of our comfies for the whole of lockdown, we have to be team Michelle on this one.
Glamour is just too much effort these days.

After the year she’s had, absolutely no one can blame Neighbours’ Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) for wanting to do one from Ramsay Street.

Samuel Croal had to be stopped by Scott as he attacked two women (Picture: Cavendish Press)
A judge has praised former Coronation Street star Scott Wright for his heroic actions when he stepped in and stopped a mother and her daughter being beaten up by a random attacker in a terrifying altercation.
Scott, who played mechanic and stripper Sam Kingston in the show years ago, attended Hendon Magistrates Court to give his witness account of the seemingly unprovoked attack.
The two women were walking to Westfield shopping centre in west London when Samuel Croal, 52 confronted teenager Ruby Bynoe in the street and kicked her twice.
When her mother Simone asked him if he kicked her, Croal shoved her, abused her and then punched her twice in the head.
It was at this point that Scott was passing and stepped into the situation, before Croal then fled the scene.
Scott leaves the court after the judge passed his decision (Picture: Cavendish Press)
Speaking as a witness Wright said of Croal: ‘I just saw him land a load of punches and I instinctively got in between him and the women but in a totally non-violent way. I put my arm out to prevent him punching her any more.
‘He then started to threaten me and said he was going to beat me up, but he clearly thought twice about that and then started to walk away.’
District Judge Alexander Jacobs said: ‘When independent members of the public step in to help and then are prepared to come and be a witness to events, the court is incredibly grateful.’
Croal, of London was found guilty of two counts of assault by beating and was bailed to appear for sentencing.
He had a previous conviction from 1993 for wounding which he served a 30-month prison sentence, and also had conviction for criminal damage also from the early 90s.

Helen Flanagan was full of cheer as she headed out for lunch at The Ivy with her mum recently – making the debut of her brand new look hairstyle which is now a pink colour.
The Coronation Street star, best known for playing Rosie Webster in the soap, was pictured chatting and walking with her mum in Manchester and took time to smile for cameras as they enjoyed the fresh air.
The actress recently had to postpone her wedding to Scott Sinclair due to the coronavirus lockdown.
She left Coronation Street to give birth to daughter Delilah, who is now two, but recently admitted that there were no firm plans for her to return to the show.
(Picture: Backgrid)
However, she is certainly not ruling it out and her on-screen mum Sally Dynevor is hoping to have both Helen and co-star Brooke Vincent, who plays Rosie’s sister Sophie, back for Sally’s wedding to Tim.
Rosie was last seen making her departure from the cobbles to accept a job abroad as an assistant on a gameshow.
(Picture: Backgrid)
Which suits showbiz hungry Rosie to the ground, really!
Speaking last year about a return, Helen said: ‘I miss Coronation Street so much and I’m definitely going to go back, definitely.
‘It’s just working it around my girls. Matilda’s at the age now where she’s four and she needs to be taken to all of her lessons.
‘Obviously with me living in Scotland it’s a four hour drive and Delilah’s nearly one.’

Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) may have fooled his family into believing that he is recovering well during the grieving process for his lost wife Sinead – but little do they know that he has found an unusual and potentially damaging outlet for his agony in Coronation Street.
After meeting sex worker Nicky (Kimberly Hart Simpson) at a drinks function and clicking instantly with her, Daniel was mortified when he realised her occupation.
However, he later got back in touch with her – and found her a comfort to talk to her about his life, his loneliness and how much he misses Sinead.
Things recently took a more uncomfortable and tragic turn when Daniel paid Nicky to don dead Sinead’s cardigan and spray her perfume on herself.
He then climbed onto the bed with her and cuddled into her as she stroke his hair and for the time he was spending with Nicky, he felt like he was in his wife’s arms once more.
However, tonight things may go even further as Nicky reminds Daniel that he can get a lot more from her for the money is paying as she offers sexual services.
With Nicky dressed as his dead wife, will Daniel be tempted to try and recapture the intimacy he had with Sinead?
Or will this be a wake up call that his dependance on Nicky is becoming a problem?

Coronation Street killer Gary Windass (Mikey North) finds his crime catching up with him tonight when Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) outright accuses him of killing missing Rick Neelan, leaving him shaken.
Adam has been suspicious of Gary’s behaviour as he has guiltily paid an interest in the welfare of Rick’s daughter Kelly – and has ensured that her mum Laura has continued to receive payments allegedly from Rick.
But with Gary refusing to contact Rick and no-one else having any contact with him, Adam has started to piece everything together.
Realising that Rick must be dead, it makes sense to Adam why Gary now wants to keep Laura and Kelly sweet and from ever discovering his true fate.
Tonight, he corners Gary and accuses him but Gary brushes him off – though it’s clear that he is quite worried.
And Adam is making it quite clear that he is not going to give up. Things will get even more complicated when Brian Packham’s (Peter Gunn) trip to the woods where Rick is buried leads to the discovery of a watch.
And when Gary’s reaction to this and desperation to buy it reaches Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), she discovers the truth about what happened to Rick.
As the dark secret starts to fall apart, Gary fears this could be the end of the line for him.
How on earth can he get out of this?

— My Dad Wrote A Porno (@dadwroteaporno) July 22, 2020
For the uninitiated, My Dad Wrote A Porno sees best pals Jamie Morton, James Cooper and Alice Levine read and critique the Belinda Blinked books – an erotica series written by Jamie’s father (who goes by the psuedonym Rocky Flintstone).
The series follows the life of Belinda Blumenthal, an International Sales Director at Steeles Pots and Pans.
In the first book, Steeles takes on a spot of philanthropy, holding a fundraising event for its charity of choice.
Fans were stunned at the crossover (Picture: @dadwroteaporno)
The cause, of course, was the Asses and Donkeys Trust, with the event of choice being a tombola (which naturally led to all sorts of sordid antics, but we’ll leave that to the imagination).
Clearly having heard tell of the unexpected crossover, the podcast retweeted the Hollyoaks clip, writing: ‘It’s true – @Hollyoaks got a cheeky MDWAP reference in an episode last week.’
Fans are obsessed, with one writing: ‘You guys have officially made it! Never mind The Robert Albert Hall, Hollyoaks reference is the peak of fame!’
‘They even mention the tombola! Red thongs at the ready…’ another advised, while one more said: ‘This is incredible! Love the tombola shout too!’
After six months without an episode of the podcast, we knew we’d need to get our fix from somewhere – we just didn’t quite expect it from Hollyoaks.
Coronation Street is set to welcome back Sue Devaney for another guest stint as Kevin Webster’s (Michael Le Vell) sister Debbie next month – and it soon becomes clear that she less than approves of Kevin’s love interest Abi Franklin (Sally Carman).
But while Sue is delighted to revisit the role she originally left a staggering 36 years ago, her main focus right now is on the battle against homelessness, with statistics showing that the problem in the UK is worse than ever.
Having herself been in a situation where she was penniless due to addiction, Sue knows the plight and fears of being left with nothing and is working with The Big Issue on a campaign to make a change.
Speaking passionately about the scourge of the homelessness crisis, Sue shared: ‘There’s a huge misunderstanding towards homeless people because some of them, not all of them, drink and do drugs.
‘The majority of those people do not choose the life they have. People drink and do drugs, not because they want to, but because they have very little choice. And that’s something I think a lot of people don’t get. They need help. Not judgement.’
Addressing her own battles with substance abuse which almost left her without hope, Sue continued: ‘I’m passionate about helping these people because I know what it’s like to have no money. No job. I have experienced mental health issues, low self esteem, low self worth like many of us.
‘I know what it’s like to be an addict. People turn to substance abuse because, initially, it takes the pain away, even if it’s just for an hour or so. Then, it stops working and the very thing you used to take the pain away is causing you catastrophic pain.
(Picture: Sue Devaney)
‘I am lucky. I got help. I had the disease of more more more… more drink, more sugar, just an insatiable appetite for the bad things in life! Nothing in moderation, everything in excess. I attracted the wrong type of folk.
‘Am I less of a person for having the disease of addiction? I am not. So are they less of a person for using drugs and alcohol to cope?’
Sue is working with Big Issue on a project dubbed New Issue, which encourages businesses to fund £40 a month on a subscription – with the money directly going to help the homeless.
She said: ‘Good on the businesses who are doing all they can for those that are less fortunate than themselves and struggling in life.
‘We need to stop putting a plaster on the problem, and start getting to the root of the problem, but being able to provide help for these people is a very good place to start.
‘It’s also got decent independent journalism in it, I read the big issue… I’d definitely read this! This is a fab new project, and I can’t wait to see how it all works out.’
Before the lockdown, Sue was touring with Calendar Girls and spent much of her spare time interacting, chatting with, supporting and photographing people with no bed to sleep in in order to get a real handle on the severity of the problem.
Through meeting the people and hearing their stories, the actress became more empassioned than ever to do what she can – as she declares that the situation has got out of control over the last decade.
She said: ‘The worst hit area I have seen by far is my home City of Manchester. I had a couple of weeks off the tour to film a few episodes of Corrie and had a walk around the centre.
‘Why, when we have enough money to buy army weapons, Brexit deals, Covid apps that don’t work, can we not remove our vulnerable people off the streets and give them help, food and warmth? I don’t get it!’
Sue added that as she gratefully continues to work and have shelter, she will never forget those who are less fortunate and that is something that was instilled to her by her father from a young age.
She recalled: ‘My dad lost everything and went bankrupt when I was 17 – we moved from typical suburbia to a rough estate in Rochdale – my father was a very private man, he had integrity and strength.
(Picture: Sue Devaney)
‘I moved to London to do a play in the West End and a kids series called Jonny Briggs. When I popped back home, my dad used to take me to all the backstreet rough pubs. “Now listen Susan,” he’d say. “These people will be more honest than any of those bankers, wankers and politicians out there, because having nothing means having nothing to lose. The most honest people you will ever meet.”
‘He used to say to me: “Wherever you go in your life, whatever you do, never forget where you’ve come from” – and I live by that today.’
Hannah Ashworth’s anorexia storyline gets another airing in Hollyoaks this week (Picture: Lime Pictures)
TriggerWarning – this article contains details of eating disorders which some people may find distressing.
Hollyoaks might have gone off air after running out of new episodes, but that doesn’t mean we are totally without our fix, with yet more Hollyoaks Favourites being brought out of the vaults and aired once again.
And this week it’s the turn of Hannah Ashworth (Emma Rigby) to once again take the spotlight, as a string of episodes from 2007 focusing on her anorexis and bulimia battle get another showing.
Hannah was a part of the show for five years – but just what happened to her?
Let’s take a look back…
What happened to Hannah Ashworth in Hollyoaks?
Hannah was first seen in Hollyoaks in 2005, and soon after her arrival was left traumatised by the death of Tony (Nick Pickard) and Mandy Hutchinson’s baby daughter Grace, who fell victim to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) while she and her friend Nancy were babysitting.
Hannah later began dating John Paul McQueen, and fell in love with him – with the pair losing their virginity to one another.
However she was left devastated when John Paul ended the relationship and confessed to having feelings for her friend Sarah Barnes (Loui Batley), before eventually confessing his sexuality to her.
Hannah’s fun-loving nature was damaged by tragedy soon after she arrived in the soap (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Following this Hannah – who still had feelings for John Paul and tried to sabotage his new relationship with boyfriend Spike – went on to develop bulimia, which spiralled into anorexia when she became friends with model Melissa Hurst (Carla Chases).
Melissa taught Hannah, based on her own experience, how to hide her condition from others, leading to concern from friends about her weight loss – but things came to a head after Melissa collapsed at her family’s barbecue and ended up in hospital, leading Hannah’s family to find out exactly what was going on.
Hannah made plans to get away from her family by breaking Melissa out of hospital and fleeing the country with her, but when the pair of them returned to Hannah’s home to fetch her passport, they were confronted by Hannah’s mother Suzanne – with Melissa collapsing and dying of a heart attack.
Hannah was left grief-stricken by her friend’s death and continued to hide her illness from her family – but the truth came out after she collapsed during an argument between Sarah and John Paul, after Sarah found out that John Paul had cheated on her with Craig Dean.
The character was ultimately sectioned, spending two months in hospital before returning to Hollyoaks to make a fresh start – but she left the soap in 2010 after her character suffered a relapse of her eating disorder.
Hollyoaks Favourites is on E4 tonight at 7pm.

Kim Tate (Claire King) always ends up having the last laugh but this time, Andrea (Anna Nightingale) is confident that she has her mother-in-low snookered in Emmerdale as she holds Jamie’s (Alexander Lincoln) fate in her hands.
Kim has always been determined to get rid of Andrea from Jamie’s life so she was fuming when he took her back after their split.
Having discovered blood in the car, Kim thought she had it all worked out – that Jamie was trying to protect Andrea and Millie as she had run over Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb).
So her face was picture when Andrea pointed out that actually, it’s Jamie who would face prison if she went to the police.
When Jamie confirmed to his mum that what Andrea was saying is true, Kim realised that Andrea holds all the cards – and Andrea hammered that point home in an intense showdown.
But how much danger has she now put herself in? Given Kim has assassins on speed dial, has Andrea signed her own death warrant?
As Andrea raged that Kim has to do everything she says now and there’s nothing she can do about it – she no longer has any power, Kim’s look could kill.
And so could she.
Is this the end of Andrea?

Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) can see her evil husband Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) for the monster that he is in Coronation Street – and he has been left stunned as she stood up to him and told him to shut up before making it clear that she would never take him back.
Yasmeen had been visited by an ex of Geoff’s called Elaine (Paula Wilcox) in prison, who had told her that she had had her life made hell by him in the same way she has.
Yasmeen instantly recognised some of the things that Elaine mentioned, such as the marks he made to ensure that cleaning was done properly and his gaslighting to make her believe she was an alcoholic.
After mulling over what Elaine had said to her, Yasmeen contacted Geoff and initially made him feel that she was buying into his act of repentance.
But even during this call, he was still making himself out to be the victim and, when he asked Yasmeen to tell him that she loved him, she lost it with hi and told him to shut up.
Oh and how a nation cheered.
Yasmeen said that even if she is found guilty, she will just be happy knowing that she never has to share a bed with him again and as she told him that one of his exes has come forward and she believed her, Geoff let his facade drop.
Calling Yasmeen stupid and branding her a bitch, Geoff told her that he would make sure she would get used to the cell walls.
But after the call ended, it was clear he was worried – he no longer has control over Yasmeen.
Is this the beginning of the end for him?

Coronation Street’s grieving Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) has insisted to Nicky (Kimberly Hart Simpson) that has connection to her and his desire to pay for her time has absolutely nothing to do with sex.
He had brought round Sinead’s cardigan and perfume for Nicky to wear, just so she could hold him in her arms and make him feel like he was with his late wife again.
He became so lost in the moment that he asked for more time, agreeing to pay her by credit card later for the extra escapism from the reality of his loneliness.
Nicky reminded him that he could offer a lot more for the amount of money that he is paying her but Daniel immediately rejecting this notion, explaining that sex doesn’t come into it.
He told her that just by spending this time with her, he is now sleeping easier and feels a little less broken.
But while Nicky joked with him about fixing him, it was clear she felt a little uneasy about the pressure this puts on her and the level of responsibility she holds over his fragile state of mind.
After all, this can’t go on forever – will Daniel’s reliance on Nicky’s company as a crutch backfire and leave him in a darker place than ever?

Yasmeen is currently in behind bars after attacking her husband earlier this year, when tensions came to a head after another argument.
And, in tonight’s instalment, she was visited by Geoff’s ex partner, Elaine (Paula Wilcox), who revealed she was also a victim of his actions.
‘Go to the prison library,’ she urged. ‘Ask for every book you possibly can on coercive control, and read them.’
Later in the episode, after flicking through a book, Yasmeen got in touch with Geoff on the secret phone and appeared to listen as he insists that he will change and become a better man.
‘I’m lost without you, I feel like my right arm has been cut off. And my left,’ he said, explaining he was doing ‘all he could’ to get her home.

But she turned the tables, standing up to his threats and attempts to portray himself as the victim.
‘Oh shut up, Geoff,’ she yelled, before questioning him on his previous behaviour and his ex partners.
‘I believed you, but all the time you were projecting.
‘You manipulated me and I fell for it, but I shan’t again. I will never, ever go back to you again.

‘And even if I’m found guilty it would be a good result because I shan’t ever have to go to bed with you.
‘And if I’m not guilty then the same.’
Right on cue, fans flocked to Twitter to praise her for standing her ground.
‘Thank God, Yasmeen has seen the light. #corrie,’ one tweeted, while another celebrated: ‘You go Yasmeen – finally found her voice! No more sleeping with Geoff, result #Corrie #coronationstreet.’
Yasmeens gone sounds like she’s going to play him at his own game?? #Corrie
‘That was one of THE BEST SHOWDOWNS ever ! Corrie! You’re leaving us on tenderhooks. We need hour episodes !! #corrie,’ a Twitter user penned.
A follower screamed: ’YES YASMEEN YOU TELL HIM!! #corrie #yasmeen @itvcorrie.’
While fans are delighted over Yasmeen’s actions, will she be able to keep her new show of strength up?
Or will she eventually regret making the phone call?
Speaking about the scenes, Shelley recently explained: ‘It’s extraordinary, and again we know she misses him. The sound of his voice calms her in a way.
‘But the way that he speaks sometimes alerts her. So again, she has this dichotomy of feeling – she feels protected when she hears him, and she’s got used to his voice meaning comfort and security. He does say, “Look I still love you.”
‘She’s thinking about it. It’s a dilemma because she really wants him to change. We don’t know what she’s going to do, as many women do believe it and that’s why these relationships go on and on.
‘And the thing is, if Yasmeen says “I believe you” then that’s it, the charges are dropped and they start living again. But will she?’
