Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) isn’t one for playing by the rules in EastEnders, but her violent behaviour comes back to haunt not her this time, but rather Linda (Kellie Bright), who — in the coming episodes — faces yet another dilemma.
After dropping Ollie off for his first day at school, Linda made an executive decision to get to know the other mums — a group of mothers whom Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) referred to as the ‘mummy mafia’ — in an attempt to make her son’s school experience much easier.
Since then, Linda has made every effort to be friendly, and it’s paid off — but she encounters a pretty big obstacle in the coming episodes.
Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) picks up Ollie up from school, and she gets a shock when she realises that one of the mums is none other than Shelley — aka the woman Shirley punched in the face several months back when she made a derogatory comment about Ollie.
(Picture: BBC)
After relaying this information to Linda, Tina urges the Carter matriarch to confront Shelley about the incident, but Linda’s not so sure — as she wants to keep the mum’s happy for Ollie’s sake.
Afterwards, she plans a night out at E20, but she’s disgruntled when she learns that Shirley will be there on the night in question, and thus begs Tina to help her out.
It’s no use, as — in spite of Tina’s best efforts — Shirley arrives, and later comes face-to-face with Shelley.
In typical Shirley Carter fashion, she doesn’t hold back and thus says what she really thinks — but she’s left shocked by Linda’s reaction.
Has Shirley stepped too far out of line this time?

Robbo and Colby search the power plant for Jasmine (Picture: Channel 5)
Colby (Tim Franklin) has managed to take over a tense situation in Northern Districts Hospital, where Robbo (Jake Ryan) had matched the DNA of a recently admitted man – Lenny Gordon (Joseph Del Re) – to one of Jasmine’s (Sam Frost) kidnappers. After a standoff where Robbo barricaded himself into Lenny’s room and demanded information on his wife’s whereabouts, despite Lenny’s condition rapidly worsening, the hospital staff have finally gained access to treat him.
Once Lenny is stabilised, Colby offers him protective custody so Des can’t get to him. This peace of mind leads to Lenny confessing that he believes Jasmine has been taken to an abandoned power plant. Robbo wants to get over there right away, but Colby insists they’ll do better if they wait until morning, where there will be enough light to tackle the operation effectively.
At first light, the police and AFP head to the powerplant, where Robbo, Colby and the other officers begin to raid the premises. As they go through the building, we see Jasmine being held by Des (Matt Zeremes) and Fitz (Nathan Sapsford) in a corner. Although Des threatens to kill her if she makes a sound, Jasmine decides to risk it and calls out, alerting Robbo and Colby to her position.
Lenny has led Colby and Robbo to the plant (Picture: Channel 5)
Although Des tries to get away with her, she breaks free and runs to Robbo. Des decides to give up on having her as a hostage, and run while he’s got the chance. Jasmine and Robbo are finally reunited, but he has to leave her again to go after Des and Fitz.
Leaving Jasmine with Colby, Robbo goes after the men who murdered his old family. He relentlessly chases them through the endless corridors and staircases in the power plant, tailing Des until he’s got him backed into a corner.
But a ute driven by Fitz suddenly roars into view, almost running Robbo over. Both Robbo and Colby are forced to leap to the side as Des and Fitz escape. Robbo has his wife back, but with the gang members off in the distance, the threat continues…
Emmerdale star Andrew Scarborough is to leave the soap in an explosive exit that will rock the village. Is Kim Tate (Claire King) set to have her final revenge on Graham Foster following their recent dramatic fallout in which they both vowed payback?
After an extremely eventful two years in the show, Bad Girls and Downton Abbey actor Andrew will film his final Emmerdale scenes in the coming weeks, with his exit to hit our screens at the start of next year.
Emmerdale is remaining tight lipped over how he bows out and whether the character will live or die but it is bound to be part of his dangerous feud with Kim, who often tends to get the upper hand when she is crossed by someone.
An Emmerdale source told The Daily Star on Sunday: ‘Andrew’s been a great addition to the cast and has been involved in some of Emmerdale’s biggest storylines since he arrived in the village in 2017.
‘So he was never going to leave in the back of a taxi. His exit will be huge and will kick start a drama filled and action packed year in the Dales.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted spokespersons for Emmerdale for comment.
Graham arrived in the show in an air of mystery and over the months since he made his debut, a number of secrets were unfolded about him, not least of all his involvement in the death of his wife and child while drink driving, his past with Joe Tate, his allegience to Kim Tate and the fact he is most likely the biological father of Millie.
On top of that, he was central to the mystery over whether Joe Tate was dead or alive. Tragically for the character, he is starting to experience his first glimpse of happiness at the moment as he dates Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).
EastEnders is lining up a horrifying showdown over the Christmas period which looks set to end in the death of Keanu Taylor, who was recently confirmed to be leaving the show in the wake of Danny Walters announcing his exit.
However, the circumstances of his departure may come as a bit of a surprise as some of his final scenes involve characters he hasn’t had a huge amount of interaction with. And, as Martin Fowler (James Bye) has been seen waving a gun around as cast film the scenes on location, could he be the one to accidentally kill Keanu?
Or is there another twist in store?
(Picture: ISO Images)
The truth about Keanu being the one who fathered Sharon Mitchell’s (Letitia Dean) baby will come to light this Christmas and Phil (Steve McFadden) will no doubt want his revenge. But, given Phil’s hold over Martin as he could land Stacey (Lacey Turner) in prison with the click of his fingers, could he force the fruit and veg maestro to do his dirty work?
James and Danny have been snapped filming scenes on location and, according to The Sun, a gunshot is reported to have been heard, suggesting that not everyone may come out of this alive. But in another baffling twist, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is central to the action as Martin is scene taking her hostage at gunpoint.
(Picture: ISO Images)
Linda, who is dressed in a Santa outfit, is seen screaming in terror and both she and Martin are sporting bloddy gashes. So what causes these three characters to find themselves in this highly charged situation?
And who will die?
(Picture: ISO Images)
Speaking about Danny’s exit from the show, EastEnders boss Jon Sen told Metro.co.uk: ‘Keanu’s story is set to come to a dramatic and blistering conclusion in the near future as one of best kept secrets on the Square is finally revealed with devastating consequences.
‘We’d all like to thank Danny for his nuanced performance as Keanu Taylor over the last two and half years. What Danny has brought to his character has been one of the reasons the ‘Sheanu’ affair has been such compulsive viewing for fans. Everyone at EastEnders wishes him well for the future.’
Willow became one of Dr Alex’s first friends in the Bay (Picture: Channel 5)
Willow (Sarah Roberts) and Dr Alex (Zoe Ventoura) have become friends since the new doctors’ arrival in the Bay. With Alex employing Willow as her personal trainer, the two have spent more time together and established a decent bond.
With Jasmine (Sam Frost) abducted and the news that Tommy (Adam Sollis) has been murdered, Willow is feeling overwhelmed and tells Marilyn (Emily Symons) she thinks the world has gone mad. While Marilyn tries to reassure her that all will be resolved soon, Willow struggles to remain calm.
Her emotional state worsens when she learns from Mason (Orpheus Pledger) that Robbo has gone nuts in the hospital and is holding one of Jasmine’s kidnappers hostage. When she can’t get through to Colby (Tim Franklin) to find out what’s going on, Mason offers to buy her a drink in Salt to distract her.
Willow breaks down while talking to Mason in the bar, saying that if Robbo is acting so crazy, this probably means Jasmine is already dead. While Mason tries to comfort her, there’s nothing he can say that will calm her down or convince her otherwise.
Willow thinks Alex is an amazing person (Picture: Channel 5)
The next morning, Alex comes into the Surf Club, where Mason tells her Willow hasn’t come in for work. Alex goes to look for her, and finds her on the beach. She offers to hang out with her until they have more information about Jasmine, and Willow is grateful for her support.
Later, while Alex is at the hospital and talking to Colby, she suggests that he should go and update Willow on the situation. Willow is overjoyed to see Colby and learn that Jasmine is safe and well, excitedly accepting a ride from him to the hospital to be reunited with her friend.
Willow tells Alex how grateful she is for her support, saying that she’s an amazing person and she feels like she’s known her for years. The atmosphere changes, and Alex reacts by suddenly kissing a stunned Willow. Suddenly worried she’s made a mistake, Alex apologises and flees before Willow can even come up with a response. What does this mean for their friendship?
This is the moment which sees Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) see red and lash out at Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) when she discovers that she was responsible for the sabotage of Keegan Baker’s (Zack Morris) business in EastEnders.
Keegan has poured his efforts into his catering business and managed to get it off the ground but Dotty’s recent actions have left it hanging by a thread and when Tiffany finds out what the schemer has done, she is furious.
She launches an attack on Dotty but as the old enemies have a fierce row, Dotty digs her heels in. Tiffany demands that she puts things right but will she manage to force Dotty to take action to reverse the damage? Or is it too little too late?
Maisie recently admitted that she can’t see a time when the foes will see eye to eye, telling Metro.co.uk: ‘At the moment, Tiffany doesn’t trust Dotty at all, and never has. I can’t see them becoming friends if I’m honest.’
That seems like a fair assumption to make!
(Picture: BBC)
And it’s all part of a big and life changing week for Tiffany and Keegan as they prepare to elope and get married. But will their disapproving family members stop the loved up couple in their tracks?
Maisie teased: ‘There are very few people who are in favour of this wedding but Bernie is one character who wants them both to be happy! However, Karen is the least supportive! We definitely see that in the episodes to come.
‘It’s absolute chaos! It was so great reading the script – it starts of Tiffany, Keegan, Keanu and Bernie just going to the wedding and when they get there, the entire crowd of the Taylor and Butcher families are just there in this chaos. It was great to film and I can’t wait to watch it!
‘It is just so much fun. I love getting every family member into a room together to do scenes like this – it’s not challenging at all, it’s just a pleasure to work with them all at once.’
EastEnders airs the clash between Tiffany and Dotty on Monday 4th November at 8pm on BBC One.
After a tough couple of years, things were finally beginning to look up for Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) in EastEnders, what with his business venture having taken off. However, his problems are set to persist in the coming episodes, as he lashes out at none other than Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt)!
When Ian found out that Keegan and Iqra had been using his kitchen to run their business out of, it’s safe to say he wasn’t too pleased.
However, he didn’t need to worry about it for too long, as troublemaker Dotty (Milly Zero) sabotaged Keegan’s business not long afterwards — much to Tiffany’s (Maisie Smith) dismay!
Never one to miss an opportunity to gloat, Ian wasted little time in making little of Keegan following the incident with Dotty, and thus encouraged him to give up.
(Picture: BBC)
In the coming episodes, Tiffany continues to berate Dotty over what she did, and thus demands that she put it right so that Keegan’s business can thrive once more — but she refuses to do so, and with tensions higher than ever, Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) is forced to intervene.
Meanwhile, Keegan’s desperate for work following what happened, and thus he decides to seek out Ian and ask him for a job. However, things don’t go as planned and Ian winds him up — which results in Keegan lashing out!
Tiffany later informs Keegan that Dotty’s agreed to sort everything out, and when Sonia discovers what transpired between Ian and Keegan, she doesn’t hold back.
Will Keegan face repercussions for his actions?
If Ian has anything to do with it, then it’s highly likely.

Robbo has just been reunited with Jasmine (Picture: Channel 5)
Jasmine (Sam Frost) and Robbo (Jake Ryan) have been reunited after a traumatic abduction which saw Jasmine held hostage by Des (Matt Zeremes), Fitz (Nathan Sapsford) and Lenny (Joseph Del Re). After days of desperately searching for clues, just missing her after tracking her to a nearby abandoned warehouse and finally getting intel on her location from an injured Lenny at the hospital, the pair are back together.
Jasmine insists on giving information at the police station, but almost collapses with exhaustion. She is taken to the hospital, where Alex (Zoe Ventoura) advises that she needs complete rest. Willow (Sarah Roberts) arrives and is relieved to see her friend safe. The pair catch up while Robbo calls Lance (Angus McLaren).
When Robbo is done with his call, he heads back to Jasmine’s room but overhears the two women in conversation. Jasmine reveals how the kidnapping ordeal left her terrified and worn down. Now she wants to get as far away from the criminals as possible – it’s the only way she will feel safe.
Robbo has finally found Jasmine (Picture: Channel 5)
Robbo joins her in the room, and asks her if this is what she really wants. Jasmine says that, during her darkest moments, she hoped that the kidnappers would dispose of her body where it could never be found, so that at least Robbo would never have to go through the horror of seeing his murdered family for a second time.
A stunned Robbo realises the damage and pain the kidnapping has caused his wife, and makes a decision. He tells Colby (Tim Franklin) that he plans to leave the country with Jasmine, and Colby agrees that it’s a smart move. The two men say goodbye, aware that this could be the last time they ever see each other.
Robbo has one last visit to make before he leaves Australia. He goes to the grave of his old family and apologises for being away for so long. He speaks from the heart, saying he loves them – but is interrupted mid sentence by a blow to the head, which knocks him to the ground. Lying unconscious, a mysterious shadow passes over him. What’s going to happen to Robbo now?
Emmerdale’s Fiona Wade has married fellow actor Simon Cotton.
The actress — who plays Priya Kotetcha on the ITV soap — tied the knot with Simon after dating for two years.
The pair married in front of family and friends — and fellow soap stars — in a beautiful ceremony after they’d spent six weeks apart before the big event.
Fiona told OK! Magazine: ‘Simon is on tour until February so we’re still deciding where we’re going to live and then we’ll buy somewhere.’
Mum Tessie walked Fiona down the aisle, and it was a poignant moment, as Fiona had lost her dad to oesophageal cancer 14 years ago.
Several of Fiona’s Emmerdale co-stars were present for the big day, including Matthew Wolfenden — who plays David Metcalfe — and Debbie Dingle actress Charley Webb.
Fiona told OK!: ‘Everyone was on the dancefloor until 1.30am. The Emmerdale lot didn’t leave the dancefloor.’
Simon appeared in Emmerdale back in 2017 as Hugh Bryant — a Home Farm client. Hugh showed up to check out Rebecca White’s (Emily Head) management skills. However, Hugh’s car ended up on fire, and he terminated his business with the Home Farm estate as a result.
It’s not exactly unusual for Coronation Street battleaxe Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) to be seen dishing out scathing and poisonous remarks – such is the nature of her character – but some viewers of the soap reckon a recent line overstepped the mark.
Ofcom is ‘assessing whether it will investigate’ after it received 50 complaints over a remark Evelyn made in a scene which went unchallenged by other characters. She was discussing the recent birth of Gemma Winter’s (Dolly Rose Campbell) quadruplets and appeared to turn her nose up at IVF while doing so.
She said: ‘I’m quite surprised it made the paper ‘cos you can’t move for twins and triplets these days. At least she did it the old-fashioned way and not through, what’s it, IVF.’
A number of complainants on Twitter pointed out that the line lacked sensitivity to couples struggling to conceive, particularly as the scene was aired during Fertility Awareness Week.
A spokesperson for The Fertility Foundation has also responded to the line – Tone Jarvis-Mack said: ‘It’s sad to see a popular show making such disparaging comments on a subject that affects one in six people who’d love to have a baby the old-fashioned way.
‘I’d have hoped the researchers would have taken the time to understand the emotional roller coaster couples are on when facing the fact the only way to start a family is through IVF.’
On the other hand, it could also be argued that Evelyn is well known for her cutting and non-PC remarks and, as one of Corrie’s more flawed characters, it is within her nature to say something uneducated like that; but it doesn’t make her right.
However, the fact that no-one in the scene pulled her up on her comment could well be a key issue.
Metro.co.uk has reached out to Coronation Street spokespersons for comment.
Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill) has undoubtedly been coping with a lot of stress in Coronation Street lately — what with him living a double life — but his problems are set to get much worse in the coming episodes, as he finds himself the victim of a devastating car crash.
For the last couple of months, viewers have watched as Robert has attempted to keep both Michelle (Kym Marsh) and Vicki (Kerri Quinn) unaware of the fact that he’s been seeing them both. It’s undoubtedly a stressful task — one which seemingly takes its toll on him in the coming episodes, as Coronation Street has revealed that he finds himself involved in a car crash.
Yes, as Robert is on the way back from visiting Vicky, Michelle rings to tell him about an altercation she’s had with Ray. However, the phone call proves a distraction, and he ends up crashing his car as a result.
As Michelle arrives at the hospital, she’s left incredibly confused as Robert begins to ask questions about a baby — then she spots his big Daddy necklace beside the bed.
Matters are further complicated when a midwife recognises Robert as, when Vicky pops by for a check-up, she informs her that Robert’s been in an accident — and thus Vicky rushes to his side.
Later, when he’s discharged, Robert takes it upon himself to go and see Vicky and tell her it’s over. However, little does he know that Michelle and Carla (Alison King) have followed him to the address.
Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) has caused plenty of heartache for several of Hollyoaks’ finest this year, but she’s set to pay the price in the coming episodes, as — following Grace Black’s (Tamar Wall) revelation — one resident will seek revenge and leave Mercedes for dead on The Loft’s dance floor.
After Joel (Rory Douglas-Speed) informed her that she should look much closer to home for the person who ran her over, Grace discovered that Liam (Jude Monk McGowan) was the one responsible. However, Liam wasted little time in blaming the whole thing on Mercedes — and gave Grace the confession to prove it.
As a result, Grace waltzed into Harry’s (Parry Glasspool) wake at The Dog, and proceeded to play Mercedes’ confession aloud — and all those in attendance were left horrified.
(Picture: Lime Pictures)
Due to the nature of the threat heard on the recording — not to mention the fact that Harry turned up dead — James (Gregory Finnegan) believes Mercedes to be responsible for the young man’s death — as does Diane (Alex Fletcher).
She later saunters back into The Dog and verbally abuses all those present — including Grace, Joel, Diane, James, Goldie (Chelsee Healey) and even Nana (Diane Langton) — before taking a bottle of champagne and departing once more.
Later, she enters The Loft and finds money, drugs — not to mention a gun — in the safe, before she heads onto the dance-floor and dances the night away — unaware of the impending threat.
Yes, someone picks up the gun and shoots Mercedes.
With James, Sylver, Liam, Breda (Moya Brady), Joel and Diane all hell-bent on revenge, just who is it that pulls the trigger?
Hollyoaks continues Monday 4thNovember at 7pm on E4.
Roy Cropper (David Nielson) has become addicted to online scrabble in Coronation Street, but the legendary wordsmith has had a purpose for doing so, as he is intent on tracking down his long-lost brother after discovering his mother had had an affair years earlier.
When Carla discovers how obsessed Roy is becoming at online scrabble, she orchestrates an intervention and attempts to get him interested in a real-life version of the game. However, Roy’s less than pleased when he discovers that Carla was behind all of this, as she believes his habit to be getting out of control.
Coronation Street has revealed that — in the coming episodes — Roy reveals to Carla that he’s discovered his mother had an affair — and that said affair led to her having a child. In other words, he has a long-lost brother out there and, what’s more, he has an address for him.
However, upon setting off to locate the man — whose name is Richard — a young woman answers the door and denies having any such knowledge of someone named Richard.
Never one to give up, Roy returns — with Carla by his side — and this time they’re let in by a care worker, who ends up revealing that Richard is suffering from pulmonary fibrosis.
How will Roy react to meeting his long-lost brother? Moreover, will he reveal who he is? Or will he only claim to be his online-scrabble partner?
What’s more, how will young Nina react when she realises Roy was allowed in to visit Richard?
Coronation Street continues Monday 4thNovember at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
For the last few months, EastEnders viewers have watched as evil Leo King (Tom Wells) has attempted to seduce Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) as part of a sick attempt to get revenge on behalf of his paedophile father Tony (Chris Coghill). While the young man’s endgame has yet to be revealed, it’s safe to assume that his intentions are sinister — which means Whitney could be very much in extreme danger. However, could co-worker Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) be the one to expose the truth about Leo — and thus save Whitney in the process?
Leo has recently began working at Gray’s office as the new paralegal, and — upon his first meeting with Leo — Gray found the young man to be rather unusual and incredibly ‘intense’ — a word which Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) also used in reference to him.
Since then, the two men have been getting to know each other quite well, and it’s clear that Gray’s a little confused about the nature of his co-worker’s true motives. For example, his suspicions were raised when Leo revealed he’d acquired an incriminating video of Callum (Tony Clay) — who just happened to be the ex of the woman he’s interested in.
(Picture: BBC)
Leo attempted to hide his lies with a compelling story — claiming that the video was in relation to a case he’d previously worked on — but Gray was able to put two and two together, realising that Leo simply showed Whitney the video so that he could damage her relationship with Callum.
While he never voiced his concerns to Leo, it was clear that Gray found the young man’s actions rather disturbing — and that’s really saying something considering it’s Gray we’re talking about here!
With Gray having caught on to the fact that there’s more to Leo than meets the eye, could he perhaps be the one to expose the newcomer for the liar — and master manipulator — that he is?
Gray isn’t a likeable person, but he shares many qualities with Leo — from his penchant for intimidation, to his desire to put those whom he believes have wronged him in their place — and that in itself could make him the perfect candidate to work out what Leo is up to.
What’s more with the resources that the solicitor no doubt has at his disposal as a result of his job, it shouldn’t be too difficult for him to uncover the newcomer’s true identity — and he’s already been given plenty of reason to begin investigating, so it could be only a matter of time before the truth comes out.
Additionally — from a creative point of view — Gray being partnered with Leo was undoubtedly done for a reason. If we’ve learned one thing about Kate Oates and Jon Sen’s tenure on EastEnders thus far, it’s that every single story beat carries some weight — and everything is important.
Whether or not Gray exposes the truth to Whitney remains to be seen, but his alliance with Leo will no doubt lead somewhere — and that, in itself, could spell trouble for the paralegal.
EastEnders continues Monday 4th November at 8pm on BBC One.
Scheming Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) and Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) have never seen eye to eye and their feud recently exploded again when Dotty deliberately set out to sabotage Keegan Baker’s (Zack Morris) catering business.
While many EastEnders viewers reckon that Dotty has designs on Keegan or is just causing trouble because she and Tiffany have clashed since they were kids, others are starting to wonder if a twist lies ahead which will see Dotty develop feelings for her nemesis.
One fan speculated: ‘Anyone else getting the feeling Dotty has a thing for Tiff not Keegan?’ while another said: ‘Picking up weird chemistry with Dotty and Tiff! Bet they get together soon!’
A third speculated that there is ‘more to Dotty’s’ hatred of Tiffany than meets the eye – although of course the girls DO have a lot of history.
Tonight, things get een more aggressive between the pair when Tiffany discovers that Dotty was the one who sabotaged Keegan’s business on purpose and she marches up to her to give her what for, violently grabbing her and having to be pulled away by Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy).
Not taking Dotty’s actions lying down, a fuming Tiffany warns her that she better put things right – or else! But is it too late for Dotty to make amends?
It’s a big week for Tiffany as she later suggests to a shocked Keegan that they elope and by the end of the week, they are dressed in their best and heading to a registry office – but their disapproving families are in hot pursuit!
As Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) leads the ‘stop the wedding’ brigade, the whole day is thrown into jeopardy. But when Tiffany and Keegan prove their devotion to one another, it might be too late for the registrar to perform the ceremony.
EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has revealed that the soap has big plans for Stacey Fowler’s (Lacey Turner) return next year as she has teased a major storyline for the character and her own alter-ego Ruby Allen.
At the moment, Stacey is off screen as she fears she will be jailed for the attack on Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden). Her last appearance saw Martin (James Bye) end his marriage to her as he felt this was the best way to protect her.
But when she returns next year, it will be to a range of massive scenes according to Louisa, who can’t wait to get started on the plotline.
She told The Sun: ‘I don’t know what I can say. There is a big storyline coming up next year. Lacey Turner is back from maternity leave so things are going to get very juicy, but I can’t say anything else.’
Pictures have been revealed for over Christmas which see Martin get even deeper into the troubled criminal world. He is shown taking Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) hostage at gunpoint while they are both sporting wounds.
Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) is also part of the terrifying and deadly situation – and with the character exiting the show, it could be a fatal ending. But what the impact will be on Stacey when she returns remains to be seen.
For now, she doesn’t even want to see Martin as he told her that he had slept with Sonia (Natalie Cassidy), prompting her to slap him and brand him a b***ard.
Martin isn’t exactly massively popular in the Square as he has been blackmailed by Ben (Max Bowden) into taking part in the violent side of his loan shark operation.
Lacey is currently off on maternity leave, having recently welcomed her baby Dusty to the family.
Has Pierce got something to worry about? (Picture: Channel 5)
It’s been the biggest game of will they/won’t they for Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) and Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) ever since they shared that night of passion right before Elly married Mark. But though not long ago they decided things were done for good, is there a little ray of hope?
We don’t want to get ahead of ourselves, but Chloe being taken off the market might just be the push Elly needs to realise what she truly wants. Though she hasn’t wanted to admit to herself just how much she cares for Chloe, the thought of losing her for good will give her pause for thought.
Elly is in a delicate place after news of Shaun, and she needs someone to lean on. Chloe, however, has become wrapped up in her new life with Pierce and is planning a wedding as well as enjoying a house move. Things seem rosy for her right now, especially with the promotion. But something is about to put a huge spanner in the works, and that something comes in the form of Hendrix.
There is no way he wants Chloe as a step mum and he’s prepared to do what it takes to get rid. He decides to go all Inception on her and plants a thought in her mind that the wedding is a bad idea.
He calls out Pierce for the hypocrisy of his trust issues, and then takes a stab at Chloe’s illness. He hits her hard with a home truth; she’s not special, anyone could die at any given moment. He questions why she’s rushing to marry as if she has more urgency than anyone else and it gets the cogs whirring. Is Chloe making a mistake?
Is Pierce right to be worried? (Picture: Channel 5)
It stops Chloe in her tracks as it makes her really think about what’s going on. Is she moving to fast? Has she really thought it through? She turns to Elly for comfort and they share a moment, but that moment might just reignite something in them. Pierce sees them in a tight embrace and suddenly faces the reality he might not be the love of Chloe’s life.
With Hendrix by his side sewing more seeds of doubt, could Pierce inadvertently push Chloe even further towards Elly with his jealousy?
Scenes air from Monday 11th November at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) is set to hit rock bottom after he realises that his husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) has been moved to the Isle Of Wight – and cut off all contact in Emmerdale. Viewers were left broken hearted when Robert said a final goodbye to Aaron during their last visit, with Aaron unaware that this was their last goodbye.
Tonight, Aaron’s thoughts are immediately on the next visit as Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) and the rest of the family try and support him through this and reassure him that they will all get through this forever.
But as he attempts to book in his next visit to Robert, Aaron makes the discovery that he has been moved and he is shattered – and with further bad news to come, his world starts to fall apart all over again.
As Liv tries to be there for Aaron, he starts to crumble and he lashes out in a big way. And it’s the start of a downward spiral for him.
Speaking about the journey for Aaron after Robert’s incarceration, Emmerdale’s producer Kate Brooks revealed: ‘When a big character like Robert exits, there is huge story potential in terms of kicking off the next chapter for Aaron.
‘Robert leaving is going to hit him hard. He is the love of Aaron’s life whom he adored, and has kept Aaron anchored and on the straight and narrow. So when the rug is pulled from underneath his feet, it really affects Aaron and it makes him behave in ways that he wouldn’t normally.’
She added: ‘I think we’re going to see the Aaron of old, before Robert came along and straightened him out. We have loads of great stuff for Danny and Isobel, as they try to navigate their world without Robert in it.’
Emmerdale continues on Monday 4th November at 7pm on ITV.
Emmerdale has brushed off claims that the soap is in crisis amid a recent spate of character and actor exits, insisting that it’s all part and parcel of a long running soap for the cast to go through regular changes.
The soap has aired some high profile storylines of late, with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) discovering wife Moira’s (Natalie J Robb’s) affair, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) going off the rails after the jailing of husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and Charity (Emma Atkins) teaming up with Mandy (Lisa Riley) for a casino chips scam that will rock the Dingle family.
The show has also welcomed a new baby for much loved characters Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), who were recently crowned as Inside Soap’s Best Couple, among several other awards earned in the same ceremony for the soap.

And the soap has promised a huge winter ahead, with the fierce war between Kim Tate (Claire King) and Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) likely to explode at Christmas and drama on the horizon for fan favourites Charity and Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick).
Boss Kate Brooks also previously promised an intriguing start to 2020 with another special week of episodes, following the award winning week of flashbacks which revealed dramatic plot culminations during a Big Night Out, including sex abuser Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) being exposed and Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) being raped.
A number of high profile actors are leaving the show, with Andrew Scarborough, Samantha Giles and Anthony Quinlan among those about to follow the likes of Ryan Hawley and Sally Dexter out of the exit door in dramatic storylines.
Other exits have been storyline based, such as Louisa Clein’s plot as Maya reaching an end and others, such as the dismissal of Asan N’Jie, who played Ellis Chapman, being a consequence of circumstancial situations.
A source has claimed that the exits are connected to troubles behind the scenes, with them telling The Sun: ‘It’s really tough behind the scenes, morale is low and no-one seems to be aware of what’s going on.
‘Fans are noticing and it’s really disheartening to everyone who works so hard on the show. There’s a real feeling that something drastic has to happen to save the show.’
However, a spokesperson for the soap has rubbished this, telling Metro.co.uk: ‘Departures are meat and drink to any soap. Without them there wouldn’t be any drama. And on Emmerdale there’s certainly tons of drama, all of it on screen!
‘Storylines are gripping, ratings are great and we’re winning award after award. Long may it continue.’
As ever, fans are vocal about the state of the soap on Twitter – as is the same of any soap – with some enjoying the current storylines and others suggesting that they’ve had enough.
