Emmerdale spoilers: Huge Dingle wedding as Zak and Lisa exchange their vows ahead of death storyline

Guests are shocked when Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) arrives covered in mud from wrestling pigs
(Picture: ITV)

Lisa and Zak Dingle are set to remarry in a huge ceremony, but in true Dingle style they make a right old pig’s ear of it in Emmerdale.

The Dingle family are still reeling from the shock news that Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) is on borrowed time, with Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) in particular taking the news hard.

Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) later went missing after Lisa’s revelation, but returned after he’d had some thinking time and shocked everyone when he popped the question to his one true love.

The family are thrilled when Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) agrees to marry them on such short notice, and with just two days to plan such a special day they all rally round to make it perfect.

The day arrives and Lisa comes down stairs in a gorgeous dress, and the three women, Lydia, Lisa and Belle, can’t wait to get her to the altar. It’s set to be the perfect day.

But disaster strikes when they discover the pigs have escaped and are running loose. They can’t leave with the animals roaming free, so the bridal party, dressed in their glad rags, resort to chasing the escaped pigs, which results in Cain falling flat in the mud.

So Lisa rolls up her sleeves and gets the job done herself.

Meanwhile, Zak and the wedding guests wait patiently for her to arrive, with Zak just a teeny bit nervous. But the congregation are left in shock when she finally turns up having tackled the pigs and covered head to toe in mud, and the day ends in romance and laughter.

Actor Steve Halliwell told metro.co.uk that it felt right for the pair to remarry after his affair nearly destroyed the family.

‘I was disappointed when Zak had an affair, personally,’ he said. ‘I think it made a good story but there was something about those two, us two, that I felt should remain solid.

‘But that’s not up to me to decide, so you do the story and the scenes as best you can. So for me, the fact that ended sadly for the character, because she died, I think for me I thought the one thing to do is get back with Lisa for the story and for the audience as well.’

Jane Cox said of the wedding: ‘It’s big. It comes on quickly, Zak proposes to her out of the blue really, and they’re very happy about it, the whole family is really happy. So that’s really cheery.’

Steve added it’ll be a little bit of light before the gloom of Lisa’s death.

‘There’s fun times together before the tragedy might happen, it’s not all doom and gloom from day one,’ he said. ‘We’ve found out she’s ill and she’s going to die but we don’t know when.’

Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) finds out the awful truth about Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele)
(Picture: ITV)

Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) has had a lot to deal with of late, particularly with his and Robert Sudgen’s (Ryan Hawley) roller coaster ride of trying to secure themselves a surrogate. But he’s not expecting to be blind sided by this latest setback.

Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) has proven trying for Aaron over the years, but her latest escapades will leave him reeling as he learns a shocking truth about what she’s been up to.

He’s set to learn the extent of her lies and deceit and will struggle to reconcile her behaviour with the sister he thought he knew.

Aaron is horrified to find out that she has been blackmailing Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) over her abuse of Jacob for £10k, forcing the teacher to sell her car to raise the cash.

There’s so much to unpack from this for him – he realises it means not only was she so desperate to help fund his surrogacy that she’d sink to such low depths and lose sight of right and wrong, it also means she allowed the abuse of Jacob to continue so that she could make monetary gain.

Her morals have gone completely skew-whiff, and there he was thinking she was on the straight and narrow.

Aaron is stunned and guilty at what his sister is capable of, will he blame himself for taking such drastic action for him?

Or will he see red and send her packing, realising no surrogate will ever touch them with such a criminal under their roof? Has Liv lost everything?

Tracy McDonald (Kate Ford) forces an edgy Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) back to work
(Picture: ITV)

Steve McDonald’s (Simon Gregson) worries just seem to be getting worse and worse; first it was money troubles, then it was being held up at gun point, and now he’s involved in a hit and run in Coronation Street.

Tracy won’t be pleased. At all.

When Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) finds himself under the finger of suspicion over the robbery, Steve realises he has to come clean to the police that it was him behind the wheel. He tells them he was threatened and confesses that he picked the fare up illegally, but will they believe him or could he be in serious trouble?

Steve is still on edge from it all, with good reason, but Tracy (Kate Ford) tells him time is money and he needs to get back out there scouting for business.

He does as he’s told, armed with a baseball bat, and picks up three lads from a bowling alley. But he hits a snag when they refuse to pay.

He grabs his baseball bat as one of the lads does a runner, but as he gives chase, the lad is hit by a car.

Steve’s left looking as guilty as sin and with his licence already hanging in the balance, what will happen to him now?

Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is at the end of her tether with Laurie Shelby’s (Kyle Pryor) sexual harassment, and she finally snaps in Hollyoaks. He needs stopping, and she feels she’s the one to do it.

To her horror, Nancy (Jessica Fox), who believes in Laurie’s innocence, is made Sienna’s mentor, and she asks Sienna to hand books out in class. But Sienna’s left enraged when she realises the book is the Taming Of The Shrew, another little goading from Laurie. He’s enjoying this.

Sienna goes to see Sinead in a bid to get her to admit what’s happened and finally lift the lid on what the abuser has been up to. She can tell there’s something Sinead is holding back, but without getting to the whole truth, she plots to get her own back.

Things escalate quickly and Sienna has Laurie tied up, trying to force him to admit what he’s done. She clearly didn’t learn from Brody that kidnap isn’t the best way to go.

But she’s left horrified when he breaks free and she runs after him, catching up with him in time. By the time Liberty and Brody arrive, she has him pinned on the floor and is threatening him with a fire extinguisher.

They desperately try and convince her there are other ways to deal with this, many of them that don’t result in her risking prison time, and Laurie is let go.

Back at home, Laurie is fuming and he seeks out Sinead. Finding her upstairs, he rages that he believes she told Sienna everything and he rapes her.

A heartbroken Sinead finally realises what needs to be done, and she comes clean to Tony and Diane about what’s been happening to her. Will she finally get justice?

Emmerdale spoilers: Actress Jane Cox on Lisa Dingle’s shock death and why she chose to leave the soap

Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) and Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) return to give the family the bad news
(Picture: ITV)

Jane Cox’s decision to leave Emmerdale as Lisa Dingle shocked fans after her 23 years in the soap, with the character returning after a sabbatical to reveal to her family she is terminally ill.

Lisa is set to pass away in the coming months having finally revealed her diagnosis of amyloidosis to her family after weeks of Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) carrying the burden alone. Actress Jane revealed to metro.co.uk that killing Lisa off was the only suitable ending for her character after so many years as the matriarch of the soap, as well as being able to raise awareness for terminal illnesses.

Asked what she thought of Lisa dying, she said: ‘I think it’s better really, I think it tells a complete story, and there’s a lot of people out there who are dealing with terminal illnesses.

‘So it tells the story properly I think, I could go to Spain for years or whatever, but I think it gives a truthful hopefully end to Lisa’s story.’

The actress added that she’d broken the news that she’d chosen to quit gently to her Dingle family so that they wouldn’t have a sudden shock at her departure.

‘I did speak to my Dingle family, I did speak to people,’ she said. ‘Just so they wouldn’t be too upset or shocked – or pleased!’

Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) and Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) return to give the family the bad news
(Picture: ITV)

Steve Halliwell, who plays Zak Dingle, added: ‘I think the viewers will be very very sad, because it’s one of those couples that in spite of all their fallouts and divorce, all sorts of things had happened, they still have a kind of bond which will reappear in the coming weeks.’

‘I’ve been part of her for 23 years, so it’s a long time,’ Jane added: ‘But I’m 66 now, and I felt – I’m very young – but I wanted to not be working at this pace so much in the future, and I’ve got lots of other things that I want to do, not necessarily acting but there’s lots of things that I’m interested in, and if I didn’t do it now, I probably wouldn’t.’

She added that she’d had to force herself to ‘take the plunge’ and quit so that she could pursue other things.

‘The world is out there to be explored and I’m very happy to be living a simpler life and have times for friends,’ she said, explaining the long hours filming leaving little time for much else motivated her to make the change.

‘Don’t get me wrong, it’s been my dream job!’ she added.

Lisa and Zak are now set to get remarried in some hilarious scenes which in typical Dingle style will see their wedding be interrupted by various calamities, including an escaped pig and Cain falling face first in the mud.

Steve added: ‘There’s fun times together before the tragedy might happen, it’s not all doom and gloom from day one. We’ve found out she’s ill and she’s going to die.

‘As we all know in in our own lives, we all die some time. You can’t stop living because you die, can you, because you’re going to die? It’s imminent but we don’t know when.’

Alongside the snap, the 42-year-old told her 128k followers: ‘HE PROPOSED ………….. I said YES!!!!

‘This year is turning out to be quite wonderful. (sic).’

And right on cue, her famous pals rushed to celebrate the good news with her.

James Jordan simply wrote: ‘Congratulations babe,’ while Nitin Ganatra said: ‘Big love xxx congratulations xx.’

‘Congratulations to both of you!! Absolutely fantastic news, can’t wait until you’re home so we can celebrate,’ Julia Goulding posted.

And Jane Danson added: ‘Aw congratulations,’ alongside a heart emoji.

It’s an exciting time for the star – who also appeared as Delilah Dingle in Emmerdale – as she announced her pregnancy just a few weeks ago.

‘EXCITING NEWS TWEET!! … I’m so pleased to tell you all … I’m expecting my first child with my wonderful boyfriend Adrian,’ she wrote beside a picture as she cradled her baby bump.

‘I’ve always wanted to be a mum and didn’t think I could have children. And now, at the ripe old age of 42 – I’M PREGNANT! …

‘We couldn’t be happier. (sic).’

Hayley and Adrian have been dating for the last two years, after she split from previous boyfriend Joe Tracini.

In a candid chat at the time, she said she just wanted to focus on work, as she spoke about starting a family in the future.

‘My body feels 37 but I still feel 21. I sometimes forget that I’m going to be 40,’ she said. ‘It would be lovely to have kids in the future but for now my main ¬concentration is my work.

‘I’m not scared of nappies or screaming babies but I’m just not at that point. Not many of my friends have settled down either.

‘I’m a workaholic. It’s always work, work, work, I can’t switch it off.’

EastEnders star June Brown had to turn down a party invite from Lady Gaga because she was too busy.

June, who plays Dot Cotton on the soap, made friends with Gaga when they met on The Graham Norton Show in 2013.

Their new found friendship lasted after the show ended with the Bad Romance singer inviting June, 92, to a party she was having in London.

But the actress had to say no because she needed to be up early the next day.

‘[Lady Gaga] is lovely. She’s a very intelligent girl. She was very respectful it was like she knew me.

‘We sort of took over. I did ask Graham Norton if I should go and sit on his lap. I don’t know if he was very happy about that.

‘She invited me to a private thing, unfortunately I was doing Piers Morgan the next day.

Louise emerged into the arms of a comforting Sharon, who is under the belief that the abortion went ahead and they arrived home to come face to face with Keanu who begged Louise to take him back. Louise fled and admitted to Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) that she was still pregnant.

Tonight though, while looking for Louise, Keanu calls round to see Bex and she lets slip that her friend went to terminate the pregnancy. Keanu is horrified and Bex does her best to try and warn Louise but Keanu races to confront her and is horrified by what he hears.

But how long will Louise keep up the pretence that she is no longer pregnant? And will thinking that the pregnancy has been terminated push Keanu over the edge?

Is Grace gone for good? (Picture: Lime Pictures)

In the last episode of Hollyoaks, we saw Grace Black fall victim to a terrible car accident, and it’s safe to say that it doesn’t look good.

A staple on the soap, Tamara Wall made her first appearance as Grace Black back in 2013.

Now however, Grace’s future is uncertain, as last night, we saw her horrifically mowed down by Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) in an accident that could have cost Grace her life.

Is it possible that that was the last time any of us will see Grace alive?

Is Grace Black dead on Hollyoaks?

On the last episode of Hollyoaks, Grace ended up walking home alone after a fight with her girlfriend Farrah (Krupa Pattani) about whether or not Grace wanted to go with her to Canada.

With her head apparently cooled, Grace called Farrah and left a voicemail apologising about what she’d said, and agreeing to make the move.

Grace was left in a sorry state (Picture: Lime Pictures)

Meanwhile, Mercedes and thoroughly bad-influence Liam were driving in Harry’s (Parry Glasspool) stolen car, having planned on painting the town red as it were.

But a text from Breda (Moya Brody) to Mercedes snapped her out of it – reminding her that she loves her family and that Liam isn’t the bad egg for her.

A freshly-heartbroken Liam reached around for Prince’s (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) drugs, and even though she was driving Mercedes tried her best to stop him from taking them.

During the scuffle, Mercedes crashed the car through the roadworks that Grace was walking next to, leaving her unconscious by the side of the road.

As to whether or not Grace has survived this awful ordeal, you’ll have to tune in to find out…

What is wrong with Lisa Dingle in Emmerdale?

Lisa Dingle, played by Jane Cox on Emmerdale
Get ready say goodbye to Lisa Dingle (Picture: ITV)

After 23 years on Emmerdale, it seems we’ll need to prepare ourselves to say goodbye to Lisa Dingle.

On last night’s episode, Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) revealed to the rest of the Dingle clan that she’s been diagnosed with a terminal condition, and only has months to live.

Jane has been appearing on Emmerdale as Lisa since 1996, but Lisa’s diagnosis spells a definitive end of her time on the soap.

Here’s everything you need to know about the illness that’s due to take Lisa Dingle from her family…

What’s wrong with Emmerdale’s Lisa Dingle?

In tear-jerking scenes last night, Lisa Dingle came clean to her family that she is terminally sick with a condition called Amyloidosis.

As she held Belle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) hands, she said that, despite seeking treatment in Scotland, she only has months left to live.

Jane told Metro.co.uk that the decision to write this storyline came about because it was the most suitable ending for the character, saying: ‘I think it’s better really, I think it tells a complete story, and there’s a lot of people out there who are dealing with terminal illnesses.

‘So it tells the story properly I think, I could go to Spain for years or whatever, but I think it gives a truthful hopefully end to Lisa’s story.’

As to why Jane decided to leave Emmerdale, she’s said: ‘I’ve been part of her for 23 years, so it’s a long time.’

‘But I’m 66 now, and I felt – I’m very young – but I wanted to not be working at this pace so much in the future, and I’ve got lots of other things that I want to do, not necessarily acting but there’s lots of things that I’m interested in, and if I didn’t do it now, I probably wouldn’t.’

Meanwhile there’s no word yet as to when Lisa’s final episode will be, however we do know that before she passes, she’ll be making more happy memories as she remarries Zak.

Steve Halliwell, who plays Zak Dingle, told us: ‘There’s fun times together before the tragedy might happen, it’s not all doom and gloom from day one. We’ve found out she’s ill and she’s going to die.

‘As we all know in our own lives, we all die some time. You can’t stop living because you die, can you, because you’re going to die? It’s imminent but we don’t know when.’

What is Amyloidosis?

Amyloidosis is the name for a number of conditions which result in the build up of a protein called amyloid in your tissue and/or organs.

This protein build-up can cause organ failure, and therefore be deadly.

For Lisa, the amyloid protein is building up in her heart, and as a result, the doctors have given her mere months to live.

If you want to know any more information about how this illness is going to impact Lisa and her poor family, then you’ll just have to tune in and see…

Ranked: The 16 best and most cutting quotes of Holby City queen Jac Naylor

Holby City's Jac Naylor
It takes a lot to impress Jac (Picture: BBC)

In almost 14 years at Holby City hospital, leading surgeon Jac Naylor has cemented her reputation as an ‘ice queen’. She is well known among her colleagues for her frosty manner and fierce put-downs, and rarely regrets her harsh words even to senior staff or patients. And yet Jac is a hugely popular character whose near death experiences over the past year have had viewers on the edge of their seats.

The actress who plays her, Rosie Marcel, is often noted for her powerful performances when an emotional storyline comes her way. But it is her brilliant delivery of Ms Naylor’s epic one liners that steal scenes week after week.

Whether she’s giving someone a dressing down, being a bit too direct with a patient or offering up her unwanted opinion, Jac’s way with words knows no limits. In a countdown, here are her most memorable quotes in ranking order.

16) ‘Which incompetent is responsible for the signposting around here? I’ve ended up in the canteen twice.’

On her first day, Jac clearly wasn’t worried about first impressions as she complained about getting lost!

15) ‘Don’t be you.’

Simple instructions to Fletch when he asked for advice.

14) ‘Why don’t we all hold hands and sing ‘Kumbaya'(!)’

During a rivalry over plastic surgery being prioritised, she scoffed at the suggestion of peace talks.

13) How long is Doctor Doughnut going to be with us?’

Back in his early days, the lovable Sacha Levy got right on her nerves. Today he’s one of her closest friends, and a scene between these two always humanises Jac in between a day of ruthless behaviour on the ward.

(Picture: BBC)

12) ‘I usually spend my lunch break avoiding all human contact, so this had better be good.’

Most of the time, it seems she would rather not be around people at all. So interrupting this woman in her own time probably isn’t advisable.

11) ‘The lights are dim and there’s quite clearly no one at home.’

A blunt analysis of Faye, who was dating Jac’s ex Joseph.

10) ‘You are a stately home in the country, and she is a motel off the M4.’

I’m sure her continual cutting comments about Sister Morton had nothing to do with her lingering feelings for Joseph at the time!

9) ‘Did you pick those out of a tin of alphabet soup?’

When a patient showed her a homeopathic alternative for morphine, Jac mocked him. This quick comeback came as he tried to justify his knowledge by listing all the letters after his name.

8) ‘I’ll do some extra sinning to cancel it out.’

While Reverend Kevin was supporting a patient, he offered to pray for her too – which didn’t move the self-confessed atheist at all.

7) ‘You need to get better, and fast.’

If only things were as easy as Ms Naylor demanded them to be! During the cyber emergency, poor Xavier was quick to point out that the surgery he was assisting in was beyond his medical field.

6) ‘You know what they say about nurses being patronising bores.’

Of course she couldn’t just let Fletch’s comment about doctors making the worst patients pass her by.

5) ‘If you break his heart, I’ll rip yours out.’

But despite their banter, these two have a touching friendship and she won’t hesitate to use her menacing side to protect him. A romantic relationship had been teased for a while, but Jac refused to risk losing what they already had.

4) ‘Everything is about surgery! If I don’t have surgery, I don’t have anything.’

A very telling piece of dialogue that sums up the way Jac controls her life. In a heartbreaking scene that was widely praised, her mental health struggles came to the fore.

3) ‘No! Take the stairs.’

It was impossible not to laugh at this moment, despite how outrageous it was. As her character snapped at a patient with an IV pole who was aiming for the lift, Rosie’s brisk delivery of this line was brilliant.

2) ‘Only losers talk about doing their best.’

As head of Emergency’s Ethan insisted he was trying to put a stop to the mystery staff blogger, he was subtly reminded that failure was not an option.

1) ‘I went back to work after being shot in half. The least they could do is put my name on a paperweight.’

Just slight disappointment there over not winning a prestigious award! To be fair to Jac, she was only exaggerating a little. As the first casualty in a shooting carried out by Hanssen’s son Fredrick, her colleagues saved her life by literally holding her together. She later survived experimental procedures by dodgy Professor Gaskell; and order was once again restored at Holby as she returned to work with her trademark quips.

Sharon and Keanu kiss in EastEnders
(Picture: BBC)

There were some smouldering scenes in EastEnders tonight as Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) and Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) were pulled back into one another’s world – and pants. With Keanu devastated that Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) had terminated her pregnancy – something he is unaware she has lied about – he hit the bottle hard in the Vic.

When Sharon heard from Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) that Keanu was in a state, she helped him out and followed him to the Arches where he bitterly blamed her for everything including Louise’s decision to have a termination.

Sharon also doesn’t know that Louise has had a change of heart and as she and Keanu had a heated discussion, they got to the root of their own unresolved feelings for each other. And as they both admitted they had kept their distance because they still loved each other, Sharon tried to leave but Keanu grabbed her arm and pulled her into a passionate kiss.

With Louise reconsidering her position on her relationship with Keanu, and Phil (Steve McFadden) looking for his wife, both were unaware that they were undressing one another in the Arches.

But will they regret it once the deed is done or will they resume their secret affair and add another complexity to the ongoing drama in the Mitchell household?

Victoria and Robert leave Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) has been through a terrible ordeal of late after being raped in her own home by Lee, a man who came home with her from the club during a night out and violently attacked her in Emmerdale.

Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) has been doing his best to support Victoria, along with Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) and Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) and tonight, he ached over how best to be there for her. At one point, he put his foot in it by suggesting that she shouldn’t have allowed the man into her home.

As Victoria felt blamed, Robert was gutted to have made such a mess of things and confided in Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller). The pair agreed that Victoria has to be Robert’s focus for now and they have put the surrogacy plans on hold.

Robert suggested to Victoria that as the house reminds her of what happened to her, they should go away for a while, just the two of them and she gratefully accepted the offer. As they left the village together, Robert hopes that the time away will help Victoria to get some space and recover.

However, with the daunting prospect of the fact Lee is lying about what happened and no-one else knows about her ordeal, Victoria still has some hurdles to overcome.

But Robert will be by her side every step of the way.

Holby City review with spoilers: Isaac returns as Lofty breaks Dominic’s heart

Isaac is back in Holby City
(Picture: BBC)

Holby City’s getting dark again. In this episode we saw the mental pain that Chloe (Amy Lennox) is in and how fragile she is – and how that fragility can be easily exploited by boyfriend Evan Crowhurst (Jack Ryder). It was a scary echo of the kind of behaviour that Dominic (David Ames) suffered at the hands of the evil Isaac Mayfield (Marc Elliott) – and right at the end of the episode Isaac himself made his shock Holby return.

Lofty (Lee Mead) was back from his travels with his gran. This came as a huge relief to Dominic, who’d missed him and was thrilled to have him back. Unfortunately, with all the drama about finding out he’s adopted and Ange (Dawn Steele) is his biological mother, Dominic had been completely wrapped up in his own life and had hardly communicated with Lofty. Even more unfortunately, this had led to Lofty feeling lonely and unloved, and he’d been unfaithful with another man.

Isaac is back in Holby City
Guess who’s back? (Picture: BBC)

Setting aside the fact that this seems very out of character for Lofty and he wasn’t even gone that long, it was obviously devastating news to Dominic when he found out. His reaction was to try a bit of tit-for-tat revenge and he got straight on to a dating app. And the first man who contacted him turned up on a misty walkway somewhere around the hospital building. If we hadn’t already seen him in the spring trailer it would have come as even more of a gut punch. It was Isaac. ‘Does your husband know you’re out hooking up with strange men?’ he said – which all strongly suggests that he’s been keeping an eye on what Dominic has been up to. This is very disturbing news indeed.

Chloe, meanwhile, was in torment following the revelation that Dom is her brother. As Ange predicted, this brought up terrible feelings for Chloe about her origins. She couldn’t help but think that Ange gave away Dominic, her child born out of love, and had felt obliged to keep her daughter born as a result of rape. Chloe feels tainted by the knowledge and it seems that she’s coped with the pain of it over the years by self harming, which she tried to do again. She was stopped by Evan, but he isn’t as kind as he’s making out. In trying to poison her against her mother and Dominic and making her reliant on him, his behaviour is controlling and horribly reminiscent of Isaac’s to Dominic. Maybe it’s this that’ll eventually bring brother and sister together.

Chloe struggles with her mental health in Holby City
Equine therapy for Chloe (Picture: BBC)

Sacha (Bob Barrett) discovered his own house had become infested with mice and decided it was time he left Jac (Rosie Marcel)’s. She wasn’t keen on the idea at all – partly because she worries about his mental health, but also because she and Emma really love having him as part of their family. A patient, Buster (Brian Murphy), helped Sacha to realise there were positives in having your own space, and by giving him a gift of a huge bag of potatoes helped him come to a compromise with Jac. He’ll move out, but every Sunday he’ll go over to her house and cook them all a Sunday roast and they’ll all play Emma’s favourite unicorn-based game.

Talking of unicorns, there was a horse in the garden of the hospital. It belonged to a patient (Claire Cordier), who’d stolen it back from her ex husband. This was a sad story of someone who had a happier relationship with horses than she did with people, and was dealing with a lot of grief. The horse found another friend in poor Chloe, currently feeling completely let down by most of the humans in her life.
