Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) is on a mission for revenge after Ben and Phil Mitchell (Max Bowden and Steve McFadden) tried to have him killed for his affair with Sharon (Letitia Dean). And Callum Highway (Tony Clay) has been caught in the crossfire as, in order to get at Ben, he has taken the man he loves hostage. Is EastEnders’ power couple about to be ripped apart in Keanu’s quest for revenge?
As Keanu ups his demands and Callum fears for his life, Ben is more on edge than ever and starts to formulate a plan on how he is going to deal with Keanu and save Callum. Phil has his own ideas on how to solve this and goes to Keanu’s Achille’s heel – his mum Karen (Lorraine Stanley).
As Phil angrily confronts a petrified Karen, he threatens her life in order to try and get through to Keanu – but will it work or is he too late? Meanwhile, Ben finds himself caught up with Sharon as she makes plans to flee the Square with Dennis Rickman (Bleu Landau).
(Picture: BBC)
As Ben loses his cool with her, the situation gets even more complicated when Sharon goes into labour – will Ben be forced to deliver the baby? And will Keanu turn up for the birth of his child?
Whatever happens, with both Ben and Phil putting their plans into action, a series of violent events unfold and the pair along with Keanu end up on the party boat on the Thames.
As they square up for an apocalyptic showdown that has been building for a long time, they take action that turns to disaster and plunges the lives of everyone on board in danger.
With the boat heading for disaster, lives are in chaos and at least one person will die. But has Ben managed to save Callum?
Or has it all been for nothing?
One to watch: Thursday 20 February at 7:30pm on BBC One.
In spite of Ollie Morgan (Aedan Duckworth) making his wishes known in Hollyoaks, Brooke Hathaway (Talia Grant) has decided to give her baby up for adoption upon its birth, but — as Ollie discusses options further with dad Luke (Gary Lucy) — matters escalate, as Brooke begins to have contractions before going into labour and delivering the baby.
In the coming episodes, Luke is worried about Ollie, and — knowing he’s conflicted over his baby — he promises to support his son no matter what. However, Ollie misinterprets Luke’s comments and comes to believe that he’s offering to help him raise the child, and thus he can’t contain his excitement.
Meanwhile, Booke comes to learn of Ollie’s excitement and quizzes him as to what the catalyst behind it is — but he informs her she’ll have to wait until tomorrow, as he’s planning on telling her during the opening of the Grande Bazaar.
Later in the week, Brooke starts having contractions and thus she goes into labour.
Her labour lasts all night, and Ollie is more excited than ever at the prospect of going to the hospital, but he’s angered when his dad cannot go with him, and thus he resolves to go on his own.
However, Brooke later gets stressed, as nothing is going to plan but Ollie arrives and puts her at ease, before his baby boy arrives.
Ollie is overwhelmed, but will he decide to keep the baby?
Or will Brooke insist that the child be put up for adoption?
Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather) made his presence well and truly felt in Emmerdale upon his return when he murdered Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough), but he’s far from finished wreaking havoc, as he takes old adversary Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) and her son Johnny hostage in the coming episodes.
With Vanessa in Pierce’s evil clutches as he has her tied up in the house, she attempts to free herself — but to no avail. However, her attention soon turns to Johnny’s whereabouts, as she begins to fear that her captor has hurt him.
Pierce soon switches the baby monitor on, and Johnny can be heard laughing and giggling — much to Vanessa’s relief — but the evil man threatens to turn the device off once more if she doesn’t follow his rules or if she steps out of line once more.
Pierce reveals that he believes he and Rhona (Zoe Henry) will get back together as a result of him being a changed man, and Vanessa can’t believe what she’s hearing, knowing full well that such a thing will never happen.
However, before he can reveal how he plans to win Rhona back, he’s distracted by a voicemail which has been left on Vanessa’s phone.
The question, of course, is: who is the voicemail from?
Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) marriage to Cain (Jeff Hordley) has seemingly reached its end in Emmerdale, as she’s been unable to convince her hubby to give things another shot after her affair with Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) came to light. However, the pair spend quite a bit of time in one another’s company in the coming episodes ahead of a shock shooting, so will passion ensue?
With Moira continually checking for rustlers, she’s left exhausted, but the more interesting news comes when she reveals to a shocked Matty (Ash Palmisciano) and Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) that she’s signed the divorce papers.
Victoria encourages Moira to talk to Cain once more, suggesting that there might be hope for them once the dust settles, but before she has the time to think about what Victoria’s said, Nate shows up to warn her about the rustlers.
(Picture: ITV)
Nate asks Cain if he could perhaps help in sorting things between he and Moira — something which Cain’s not willing to discuss with him, but when Cain refers to Moira as his missus, the young farmhand is convinced that he’s still in love with her.
The following day, Cain pays a concerned Moira a visit, and they’re both perturbed when they hear a noise outside. Thankfully, it’s just a door, and Moira uses this opportunity to ask Cain where he got the gun he’s holding from.
(Picture: ITV)
However, when Cain refuses to open up, Moira thinks he’s still got feelings for her, but will passion ensue?
The chemistry is evidently still there, and Cain is still in love with Moira — but what will transpire?
Later, Cain discovers the body of a dead sheep in the fields and rushes back towards the barn, and — when inside — he ends up shooting a man approaching Moira, whom we’re led to believe is a rustler.
However, when the flashlight is shone in his face, it’s someone whom they seemingly recognise.
Who is it that Cain’s shot?
What’s more, will this person die?
Will this event bring Cain and Moira closer together?
EastEnders has confirmed that it is set to kill off at least one character as the boat party ends in a terrible death – but who dies as disaster strikes? And who is to blame? One family is about to be ripped apart forever but it isn’t just a single life on the line.
As the party boat sets off, there are incredible tensions among many of the Square’s core families. With few people in the positive frame of mind for a party, things soon get out of hand. And by the time the party ends in catastrophe and more than one person ends in the Thames, there have been regrets, showdowns and secrets exposed.
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is already worse for wear as she boards the boat and, having seen Mick (Danny Dyer) talking to Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty), her paranoia explodes and she hits the free bar harder than ever. Her family watch on in dismay as she sinks bottles of champagne while Mick feels he has lost her for good.
(Picture: BBC)
Meanwhile, after Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) is violently attacked and left for dead in an Islamophobic driven beating, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) discovers from Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) who has been bullying his son. With Bobby’s life on the line, Ian barges onto the boat, determined to take a violent revenge, and it’s clear that he is prepared to do anything to avenge his son.
The blistering anger and hatred between Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) also finds its way onto the boat in the wake of Keanu taking Callum Highway (Tony Clay) hostage. With Phil and Ben (Max Bowden) closing in, a violent and very final showdown explodes.
And as their actions trigger a deadly chain of events, lives hang in the balance and loved ones scream for those lost in the water.
But who won’t resurface as the party becomes their final hurrah?
One to watch: Friday 21 February at 8pm on BBC One.
Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) are struggling in Coronation Street, as they continue to adjust to life with four newborn babies, as well as juggling the Frescho’s contract — but they make a shocking discovery about baby Aled in the coming episodes.
The Frescho’s deal has repeatedly got in the way of Gemma and Chesney’s attempts to come to terms with their new normal, and it appears as if it does so once more in the coming episodes, as Tara reveals the itinerary for yet another photoshoot. However, the photoshoot clashes with Aled’s hearing appointment — much to Gemma’s dismay.
Gemma decides that her hearing appointment is much more important, and thus Frescho’s will have to reschedule, but Tara makes it clear that if they fail to show up for the photoshoot then they won’t be getting paid.
(Picture: ITV)
Aled won’t go to sleep, so the doctor reveals that the appointment will have to be rescheduled, so Gemma and Chesney realise they can make it to the photoshoot after all. But Aled later gets upset and starts to cry.
Gemma gets a call later in the week which confirms they have a last minute appointment for Aled’s hearing test, and she decides to go for it.
However, she’s later devastated when the audiologist confirms that Aled has profound hearing loss in both ears. Chesney and Gemma attempt to take in Aled’s diagnosis, but Gemma struggles, as she learns that her son’s been deaf since birth — which means he’s never heard her say she loves him.
Chesney comforts her — promising that they’ll face this together, but Gemma continues to worry.
Hollyoaks has seen its fair share of comings and goings over the past couple of months, but there could very well be another shock exit on the cards in the form of Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart), who —at a loss without her sister Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) — resolves to take some time away from the village.
It’s been a hectic few months for Liberty, as she repeatedly tried to give Sienna everything she wanted in the form of a baby — something which was unsuccessful several times, and thus she and Brody (Adam Woodward) resolved to sleep together in order to conceive a child so that Sienna could have what her heart desired.
Keeping the secret from Sienna was tough, but Liberty found her focus elsewhere when her sister discovered Warren (Jamie Lomas) was back in the village. Sienna later absconded with her babies Sophie and Sebastian in tow, and Brody went after her — leaving Liberty on her own.
Brody’s back in the village — albeit without Sienna — and in the coming episodes, she gets worked up — something which worries Damon (Jacob Roberts).
She reveals she’s interested in getting away and clearing her head, and Damon’s concerned, and thus tells Brody that she’s leaving with his baby.
The question is: will Brody be able to stop her?
Or will Liberty decide to stay put of her own accord?
We’ve seen some different — and actually quite nasty — sides to Cameron Dunn (Nic Jackman) in recent Holby City episodes, and tonight is no exception. As he looks forward to spending the evening with Chloe (Amy Lennox) on their first Valentine’s Day together, he plans to give her a special gift – the necklace that used to belong to his mother. This is the very same necklace that Nicky (Belinda Owusu) borrowed last week and then pretended to have lost. As Cameron begins to realise the extent of Nicky’s problems, he offers to help her out – but his methods aren’t exactly subtle.
Nicky is being harassed by Steve (John Wark), the man who was involved in the accident with her mother, and she’s shocked when he turns up at the flat and becomes increasingly threatening. When she confides in a patient about her money worries, he offers her a way out – but it would mean risking her career and everything she’s worked so hard to achieve. Will she be desperate enough to take the chance?
Sacha (Bob Barrett) is sad to hear that Ben (Charlie Condou) has elaborate plans for a romantic Valentine’s day with Essie (Kaye Wragg). Sacha is also struggling with his own mental health following the death of Maria. When a Rabbi (David Horovitch) is admitted as a patient, Sacha finds someone he can talk to about his problems and he reaches an important decision.
Wise advice (Picture: BBC)
With all these lovely Valentine’s plans all over the place, Donna (Jaye Jacobs) is less than thrilled by her gift from Zav (Marcus Griffiths), and the day gets even worse when he has bad news for her. Is this going to be the worst Valentine’s Day ever for Donna?
Jac (Rosie Marcel) is still not taking on any operations, but when an emergency situation occurs in Darwin and less experienced surgeons are struggling to cope, will Jac be able to step up?

Meanwhile, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) is on the warpath when he gets wind of what Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) has done, and therefore he makes it his mission to get revenge — resulting in both he and Ben (Max Bowden) ending up on the boat with Keanu as they come face-to-face for the ultimate showdown.
It’s a week of epic proportion and here’s 35 images to tide you over in the meantime.

Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) actions have had an incredibly negative impact on her family in EastEnders over the past couple of months, as she struggles with her addiction to alcohol, but she takes things to a whole new level during tonight’s episode, and — having believed Mick (Danny Dyer) to be discussing her behind her back to social worker Loretta — she makes a bad call, and ends up devastating her family in the process.
Viewers were left in shock last week, when Linda — determined to get the upper hand once more — revealed that she’d sought legal advice, and therefore handed Mick divorce papers.
Knowing better than to take her advice at her word when she’s under the influence of booze, Mick refused to believe her actions, and revealed during last night’s episode that he’s not prepared to lose the woman that he loves.
(Picture: BBC)
Social worker Loretta’s visit went off pretty well — in spite of the fact that Linda had to pour gin in her tea in order to get through the meeting — but matters became somewhat complicated when The Queen Vic landlady overheard Mick and Loretta having a private word.
During tonight’s episode, Linda berates her husband for talking to Loretta about her, and makes it her mission to set the social worker straight. Later, she catches up with Loretta — but she’s drunk when she does so.
She soon arrives home and Mick discovers what she’s done — leaving him distraught in the process.
However, Linda is later left feeling ashamed of herself, as she knows she’s messed everything up.
What exactly has Linda done?
What’s more, are her actions irreversible?
EastEnders continues Tuesday 11 February at 7:30pm on BBC One.
Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) has been doing all the heavy lifting up at Butlers farm in Emmerdale while mum Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is taking some leave from the village, but he’s set to find himself in danger tonight as — after refusing help from both Cain and Sam Dingle (Jeff Hordley and James Hooton) — a group of Rustlers eye up the farm.
Matty has been struggling to cope under the pressure of having to run Butlers in his mum’s absence — something that became apparent during last night’s episode as he got the order for The Woolpack wrong.
Having seen him struggle, Cain offered him assistance, but — after everything that had previously transpired between Cain and Moira — Matty didn’t want his help.
However, with Cain having got wind from Nate (Jurrell Carter) that there are reports of rustlers up by Butlers and Wylies, the Dingle hard-man acquired the help of Sam — asking him to keep an eye out on Butlers as the farm is his children’s inheritance, and therefore he doesn’t want anything to happen to it.
During tonight’s episode, Cain and Sam offer Matty their assistance once more, but the young man refuses to allow them to help. Unfortunately for Matty, Cain’s instincts appear to have been correct, as — later in the day — a group of Rustlers appear and it becomes apparent that they’re eyeing up Butlers.
Matty locks the barn door, having no idea of the danger that awaits him.
Will he be okay?
Will Cain and Sam come to his rescue?
Emmerdale continues Tuesday 11 February at 7pm on ITV.
April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) has been eager to visit dad Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) in Emmerdale after he was sent to prison for the murder of Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) — a crime which viewers know full well he didn’t commit — and she gets her wish when she comes face-to-face with him during tonight’s episode.
When Marlon was arrested for Graham’s murder, he was adamant that April couldn’t visit him behind bars, as he was under the impression he’d be released on bail. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, as he was held in custody while awaiting the trial.
What’s more, he was he was afraid of the effect said visit may have had not only on April but also on him, as he couldn’t promise to contain his emotions if she was in the room.
However, little did he know that his decision to prevent April from coming to visit would result in her running away — an action which left him utterly devastated.
When the young girl was located, Marlon promised to allow her to come and visit, and — during tonight’s episode — the father and daughter come face-to-face for the first time since the day of Graham’s murder.
Yes, during tonight’s instalment, Marlon readies himself for April’s arrival. Meanwhile, April is determined to be brave and, when she arrives and sets her sights upon Marlon, she gives him the biggest smile.
An emotional Marlon gives her a hug as she excitedly reveals all about the ‘Free Marlon’ campaign.
Emmerdale continues Tuesday 11 February at 7pm on ITV.
Hollyoaks has bid farewell to several of its mainstays over the past couple of months, but the Channel 4 soap has revealed that two new characters are heading to Chester in the coming weeks in the form of Kyle Kelly’s (Adam Rickitt) mum Carole and dad Mark — and soap fans may recognise actor Chris Quinten, who’ll be portraying his father.
Hollyoaks revealed the news of the two arrivals in a tweet earlier today, saying: ‘It’s National Make A Friend Day today and we have TWO new friends for you! Kyle’s mum and dad… Played by Chris Quinten and Diana Weston, will joining us on Hollyoaks! But do you recognise them? #NationalMakeAFriendDay#Hollyoaks’
It’s National Make A Friend Day today and we have TWO new friends for you! Kyle’s mum and dad… Played by Chris Quinten and Diana Weston, will joining us on Hollyoaks! But do you recognise them? 😍 #NationalMakeAFriendDay#Hollyoakspic.twitter.com/JHgYcOUg9W
In many ways, it’s a bit of a soap family reunion, as Chris Quinten famously portrayed Brian Tilsley in Coronation Street between 1978 and 1989, and the character was the father of Nick Tilsley, who — while Ben Price currently plays the role — was portrayed by Hollyoaks actor Adam during the late ‘90s.
Speaking about the casting, Adam said: ‘This is one of the more surreal experiences of my career. After 23 years, I finally get to meet my first onscreen dad, which is truly bizarre.’
(Picture: Lime Pictures)
‘It’s an honour to have such well-established actors like Chris and Diana come in to play my parents and I’ve really enjoyed the scenes we’ve filmed so far. Plus at least having parents in the show means Kyle has an excuse to regress into adolescence, which comes quite easily to him.’
Actor Chris added: ‘I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the scenes I’ve filmed so far at Hollyoaks, I already love the show and all of the cast, crew and production staff are fantastic and so friendly.’
(Picture: Lime Pictures)
‘Working with Adam after first playing ‘his’ dad more than thirty years ago is a dream come true, it’s a brilliant piece of soap nostalgia, which I hope everyone enjoys.’
‘I think Mark and Carole will really give viewers an insight into why Kyle became the man he is today, which has been a lot of fun to play and I’m looking forward to doing more.’
Additionally, Diana Weston is mostly remembered for her portrayal of Caroline Wheatley in ITV sitcom The Upper Hand, where she starred opposite Joe McGann — who currently plays sinister Edward Hutchinson in Hollyoaks.
Hollyoaks continues Tuesday 12 February at 7pm on E4.
She is considered by all as the reigning Queen of Walford and rightly so – as EastEnders turns 35, its leading lady Sharon Mitchell/Watts is as sassy, feisty and delightful to watch as ever. And Letitia Dean has admitted that she has enjoyed her most recent storyline as much as some of her biggest in her time in the show.
As well as praising the longevity and slow burn of the storyline, she said in an interview with Heat magazine that there was a lot of envy over the steamy scenes Sharon had with her toyboy lover Keanu Taylor, played by Danny Walters.
She joked to the publication: ‘I got a lot of, “You lucky bastard!” And I was. I’ve been very blessed with my young leading men. But then Phil is Sharon’s “One”, really, I think, deep down. We’ll see what happens, but yeah, I think once you’ve worked with somebody, the same character for such a long time, you have a rapport. I just love working with Steve.
‘But they’ve all been lovely and Danny, who plays Keanu, he was great to work with and very respectful to the older lady!’
Addressing some of the more heated scenes, she laughed: ‘With the leg-up – yes! I had to dig deep to remember what that was like, I can tell you. With the chauffeur’s hat…I’m living vicariously
through my character. It was a little awkward to start with, but you just laugh your way through and I did wear my drawers!’
The storyline is about to come to head in a big way for the 35th anniversary as Sharon ends up in labour – and Letitia admits that even Queen Sharon can’t look glam in the throes of giving birth.
(Picture: BBC/Metro.co.uk)
She smiled: ‘Well, I’m not on the river or involved in that storyline, but I’m back in the Square and it’s safe to say the baby is coming. And let’s just say I look suitably sweaty. And there’s no bats (eyelashes).
‘I think someone said, “You’re so courageous, having your face off.” So, there you go. It’s actually quite liberating, when you take it all off, it’s quite lovely. I mean, it’s not so great on a 50-inch screen for some of us, but you know, we can’t have it all in life, can we?’
You can read Queen Tish’s full and very entertaining interview in Heat Magazine, which is on sale now.
With Charley Webb currently on maternity leave after giving birth to her third child Ace, Emmerdale fans have been wondering if and when we will see her back on screen as her alter ego Debbie Dingle.
As she and husband Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe, recently confirmed that they were not finished having children and wanted to further expand their family in the future, some began to wonder if Charley planned an indefinite hiatus from Emmerdale.
However, fear not, she has no plans yet to step away – although isn’t ruling out an exit in the future.
Speaking to OK Magazine, the popular actress said: ‘There’s always going to be a part of you that thinks, “Do I want to try something else?” I’m sure there will come a day when I might, but I’m happy where I am for now.
‘Emmerdale have asked me and we have talked but I haven’t confirmed anything. I don’t have any plans to leave the show, but I might take a bit longer than a year off. I don’t want to be a stay at home mum forever. I love going to work and I love coming home to the kids, and it will probably make me a better parent as I’m not with them all the time.’
Matthew added: ‘I have told Charley that she doesn’t need to feel pressured to go back. Now we have three kids, it’s important she enjoys this time, because once she’s back at work, she’s back. And knowing her character, Debbie, she will go back to a big storyline.’
The couple are celebrating their second anniversary and admitted that the more children they have, the deeper their connection to one another appears to be.
But they both previously admitted that the enjoy not spending too much time on set together as their characters are generally in different storylines.
Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley has seemingly ruled out a reunion for Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and his ex Moira (Natalie J Robb) any time in the near future as he has clarified that his character just can’t forgive her for her affair with farm hand – and later to be revealed as Cain’s son – Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).
With Moira having fallen apart since the split, fans have hoped that after everything they have been through that they could weather this storm and eventually get their marriage back on track. But Jeff has described this as unlikely.
He said: ‘I can’t see it happening in the near future. I think he’s trying to put on a brave face. It should be hard for us to tell, really, as he’s very cold towards her. He can’t forgive her for what she’s done, basically.
‘The betrayal, and then the double-edged sword of the news of it being the son that he never knew about. He’s hurt more than ever before, and I think he is putting on a mask, but then we all wear masks every day in life.

‘I think people understand why he can’t go back to Moira, because it’s too raw, it’s too unbelievable — especially the fact that he’s his son as well — there’s just so many wrongs and emotions going round in his head to do with this, he just wants her out of his life, but he knows that she has to be part of his life because they have children together.’
He also admitted to have been taken by surprise that Moira would cheat but added that he loved working on the storyline.
He shared: ‘It was great fun to play out. It’s great having Jurell on board. It was a storyline shock to us because they’d been through so much over the two years previous. It was a left-field storyline for us, but it was really great to play and the payoff I think was fantastic on the boat in that particular episode.’
However, he is very aware of what the audience want moving forwards. He smiled: ‘I think people — from what I can gather when I’m speaking to people on the street — they want Cain and Moira back together, yes.’
It doesn’t sound like this wish will be granted anytime soon…
On Monday, Ben was shocked to return to the flat to find Keanu clutching Callum’s red tie.
He quizzed him about his boyfriend’s whereabouts but Keanu made it clear that he’ll be calling the shots from now on, demanding the tidy sum of £100,000 from Ben.
He also told him to keep it secret that he’s back in Watford – if he ever wants to see Callum again.
It’s unclear where he is exactly although it appears to be an old (and grotty) factory.
How far will Keanu go, and will he hurt Ben?
Actor Danny Walters explained: ‘Ben Mitchell has taken everything from Keanu, he even tried to get Keanu killed, so Keanu is back and he wants to put Ben through what he went through. Ben wanted Keanu dead, so Keanu’s hell-bent on revenge of course, he wants to make him feel that he’s lost everything.’
EastEnders continues tonight at 7:30pm on BBC One.
Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather) has been masquerading as a well-meaning family law solicitor named Ollie in Emmerdale, who’s been aiding Kim Tate (Claire King) in regards to Jamie’s (Alexander Lincoln) situation with Andrea (Anna Nightingale), but is she set to discover his true identity as a result of Al Chapman’s (Michael Wildman) snooping?
Determined to take Rhona (Zoe Henry) away from the village, Pierce came to the realisation that, in order to do that, he’d need to secure himself some money, and thus — after hearing Rhona discuss Kim often enough — he set his sights on the Home Farm businesswoman.
After faking a bike accident outside her estate, he managed to charm Kim into believing he was a family law solicitor named Ollie, and therefore — what with her needing some advice on this front as a result of Jamie and Andrea going to war — she pretty much hired him on the spot.
Wearing glasses and a posh suit in the hopes of keeping his identity concealed, Pierce has since advised Jamie on how best to move forward with Andrea — much to Kim’s delight.
What’s more, during tonight’s episode, he showed up at Home Farm in an attempt to deliver some more advice but, when he overheard Kim badmouthing Rhona, he picked up an object form the table and contemplated hitting her — but ultimately decided against doing so.
Meanwhile, Al wasn’t too pleased about Kim’s new alliance with the dodgy solicitor, and thus he set about doing some investigative work to try and get some dirt on Ollie.
As the episode came to a conclusion, Al revealed to Kim that Ollie isn’t who he says he is — a comment which piqued the Home Farm businesswoman’s interest.
Is she about to discover Pierce’s true identity?
Emmerdale continues Wednesday 12 February at 7pm on ITV.
Paranoid Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has been hellbent on getting the upper hand in EastEnders after she came to believe that Mick (Danny Dyer) and Shirley (Linda Henry) were plotting against her, but her actions during tonight’s episode may just have sabotaged any chance she has of being a mum to Ollie, after she revealed to social worker Loretta that she left her son in danger.
Mick was devastated last week when Linda issued him with divorce papers, after revealing that she wasn’t going to let him and Shirley kick her out on the streets — something they would’ve never done in the first place.
Yes, her paranoia has spiralled out of control as a result of her reliance on the booze, and she’s come to believe that her family is out to get her. In spite of this, she agreed to play along for the purpose of social worker Loretta’s visit during yesterday’s episode.

During the meeting, The Queen Vic landlady struggled, and put gin in her tea as a result, but nonetheless she put on a good show, and — in spite of her actions the previous week — it was apparent that the love between her and Mick is still very much there.
However, when Linda overheard Mick speaking to Loretta about her, she jumped to conclusions, and came to believe that he’d informed her about the incident the previous week when she fell asleep as a result of her intoxication and left Ollie in danger.
Determined to rectify the situation, Linda set off in the hopes of tracking Loretta down — and she managed to do so after locating her in the café.

However, Loretta made clear that she had meetings for the rest of the day, and therefore had no time to discuss things further, but she’d be more than happy for them to schedule another appointment.
Unable to leave well enough alone, Linda located the social worker once more in Walford East later in the day, and attempted to set the record straight — or at least that’s what she believed she was doing.

Having thought Mick had informed Loretta about the incident with Ollie, Linda revealed all to the social worker— albeit an altered version of events which painted her in a slightly better light — but in doing so, she inadvertently put her foot in it, as it came to light that Mick hadn’t said anything.
An intoxicated Linda returned home and revealed that she’d set the record straight, but as she elaborated further, she came to realise the error in her judgment.
Mick was fuming, as he believed that Linda well and truly ruined everything.
The question is: will Linda’s actions impact on her being allowed to look after Ollie?
The Carter matriarch’s words — coupled with her erratic behaviour — will no doubt raise a few question marks for Loretta, so losing custody could well be a possibility.
