Hollyoaks spoilers: Stars reveal further turmoil ahead for Mitchell Deveraux and Scott Drinkwell

(Picture: Lime Pictures)

Mitchell Deveraux’s (Imran Adams) secret relationship with Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) came to light during an incredibly emotional three-hander episode of Hollyoaks, as Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) put two-and-two together, before confronting her boyfriend and demanding the truth. However, with a brave new world in store for Mitchell — and Scott, for that matter — what lies ahead for the lovers?

After chaos and devastation ensued within the village, Mitchell and Scott found themselves trapped in the florists as the ceiling collapsed. Cleo was the one who found them among the wreckage, and — devastated — she wasted little time in getting help. Both men were transported to the hospital — but it was Scott who remained in a bad way, and thus Mitchell refused to leave his bedside.

During a special three-hander episode, Cleo was left devastated, as Mitchell’s behaviour — coupled with the fact that he was alone with Scott in the florists — was enough to make her realise that her boyfriend had been cheating on her with her best mate.

After a confrontation, Mitchell was forced to make a decision and — in the end — he chose Scott, before pleading with Cleo to keep her discovery a secret.

Now that the truth is out, what comes next for Mitchell and Scott? It’s safe to assume that — in spite of their desire to be together — there’ll be plenty of more obstacles ahead for the pair. for example, Mitchell might have made his decision, but he’s not ready for said decision to become public knowledge just yet — and his fear of disappointing granddad Walter (Trevor A Toussaint) will no doubt play on his mind.

Actor Imran Adams previewed what comes next, saying: ‘Happily ever after’s belongs in fairy tales, but in life, what we get is something very close and that’s peace and happiness.’

‘For me, it wouldn’t be realistic if the story went from Mitchell on the verge of breaking down to a happily ever after in the next episode. Also, what people don’t know is this storyline started months ago, there was a scene in The Dog where Anita Tinkle sits on Mitchell’s lap, and that’s when we knew that that’s what was going to happen. After that, it was a slow burner because it was such a sensitive particular storyline. I feel like a lot of people don’t understand that this happens day to day.’

According to actor Ross Adams, there’s more conflict ahead for Mitchell and Scott. He said: ‘The truth of the matter is that, for many people, coming out doesn’t always end happily ever after. In this situation, there’s a third casualty of Scott and Mitchell’s affair, poor Cleo.’

‘Both Scott and Mitchell feel dreadful for betraying her in the way they have, but both feel like they genuinely couldn’t do anything to stop their feelings for each other happening. Scott feels like he’s ruined his friendship with Cleo and Mitchell worries she’ll spill his secret to everyone (and in doing so, Walter will find out). Just how or if they can all overcome this remains to be seen, but something tells me it’ll be a long road ahead before they’re all having drinks together in The Dog!’

Mitchell’s coming out narrative is a hugely important one, and becomes the latest in a long list of important topics which Hollyoaks has expertly tackled. On the importance of this, Imran said: ‘I think this love story is not only important, but also relevant and necessary. Looking at the comments on social media, some people are saying that this story is very out there, because they haven’t seen or heard of anything like this.’

Ross added: ‘Even in 2019, coming out can be a really scary prospect – regardless of age, culture, or gender. We’re hopeful that telling this story might not only help others in a similar situation to find courage, strength and support when they need it, but also start a conversation amongst people who may have negative views or limited experience around the LGBTQ+ community.’

Hollyoaks continues Friday 1stNovember at 7pm on E4.

Coronation Street spoilers: Fiz Stape murdered by evil nanny Jade?

Fiz, Hope and Jade in Coronation Street
(Picture: ITV)

Coronation Street fans are pretty savvy when it comes to spotting a wrong ‘un – there have been plenty of unstable villains in Weatherfield over the years after all. And Hope’s new nanny, Jade Rowan (Lottie Henshall), seems to fit the bill of a character we should definitely not trust.

Since she was invited into the home by Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine), fans have been watching her closely as she has secretly rooted through Fiz’s belongings and doctored Hope’s drawings to make them appear more sinister.

She also poured her heart out to Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) about an abusive relationship she was in but Evelyn has maintained a wary stance when it comes to Jade. Maureen recently hinted to Metro.co.uk that Jade will cause serious tensions between Fiz and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and Jennie confirmed that it was going to be a busy and dramatic Christmas for Fiz.

She ominously added that she wasn’t giving away whether someone dies which suggest that lives could be on the line – and worried viewers reckon that Jade might have a bit of a killer edge to her.

Sweetness and light on the outside, is Hope’s private tutor harbouring a secret grudge against Fiz or a desire to get her out of the picture so she can steal her family life? Is she actually capable of murder and just how much danger is Fiz in?

Coronation Street has yet to confirm exactly how Jade came into contact with Fiz in Birmingham and just what her true motives are but it’s fair to say that her interests spread further than wanting to look after and educate Hope.

As she gets her feet under the table in the household, there’s a sincere sense that she is bringing danger to the door of the much loved family.

Could this be the end for oblivious Fiz?

Having been jailed, Robert has had a lot of time to think while Aaron has struggled with the thought of living without the man he loves. Hearing that he is to be transferred to the prison on the Isle Of Wight, Robert decides that he doesn’t want Aaron to be living for the occasional visit and feels he deserves to move on with his life.

Believing it would be easier for Aaron to be cut off from him entirely so that he can piece his life back together, Robert sits down opposite him knowing that this is goodbye. But as he can’t bring himself to confide in an emotional Aaron that he is being moved, Aaron has no idea about this poignant exchange means.

As Robert takes Aaron’s hands in his, will Aaron realise that he is saying a much more final goodbye than he realises? And, when he discovers that Robert is being moved and doesn’t want their visits to continue, will this push Aaron over the edge as he endures the harrowing loss all over again?

With Aaron raw and devastated, he looks set to go off the rails. And it’s the end of an emotional rollercoaster for Emmerdale fans too as this officially marks the final episode of Ryan in the show after five eventful years.

For many, Ryan has made the character of Robert his own and viewers have invested some serious love and time into the hugely popular Robron pairing. As Emmerdale closes the door on the relationship – for the immediate future anyway – how will Aaron cope?

Emmerdale airs Ryan’s sad final scenes on Friday 1st November at 7pm on ITV.

Unpredictable Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander Smith) could be set to lose control in horrific fashion – putting the life of his wife Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) in serious danger in upcoming EastEnders scenes.

Gray relies heavily on control and when things don’t go his way or he feels that his hold over Chantelle is waning, the violent husband snaps and lashes out with frenzied attacks. And fans have already voiced these fears that EastEnders could reflect the harrowing statistics of domestic abuse deaths by showing Gray going as far as killing Chantelle.

In recent weeks, since discovering that Chantelle is pregnant, Gray has promised to seek help and has apparently been determined to quell his anger issues and work on his temper. But Chantelle’s recent discovery that she has lost her baby could push Gray back over the edge into his world of violence and anger.

After the arrival of Jags Panesar (Amar Adatia), it became clear that he recognised Chantelle and it emerged that the pair previously had a relationship when they were much younger. As they exchanged a look, Gray clocked this and is bound to be unsettled that Jags could be the one to open Chantelle’s eyes to the fact that she deserves better than the marriage she is in.

With Gray having recently been questioned by police over a violent fight in a club, it’s clear that his temper doesn’t just explode behind closed doors so could he seek a showdown with Jags as he fears the true nature of his relationship with Chantelle will come to light, putting him at risk of prison and losing his career?

And, if so, could he put Jags’ life on the line? Even more terrifyingly, could the potential for Chantelle to confide in Jags lead to gray dealing out what he sees as her punishment – with catastrophic and traic results?

Fans are hoping and praying that Chantelle can escape the monster she lives with – but she remains in more danger than ever…

Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) and Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway (Tony Clay) have been getting along nicely in EastEnders since agreeing to go on a date together, but there’s set to be a few problems for Ballum in the coming episodes, as — upon Pam Coker’s (Lin Blakely) arrival back in Walford — Callum is let down by Ben.

After the chemistry between them sizzled for months, Ben and Callum agreed to go on a date several weeks back. However — feeling unworthy of Callum’s affection — Ben deliberately sabotaged the pair’s rendezvous.

Unwilling to let his man go, Callum fought to prove just how much he wanted to be with Ben and, in front of homophobic dad Jonno (Richard Graham) Callum kissed the man of his dreams, before they arranged to go on a proper date.

David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is facing losing everything in Coronation Street as he has been set up for the brutal stabbing of his rapist Josh Tucker (Ryan Clayton) during a prison riot. Due to CCTV footage and his history with Josh, David is the prime suspect for the attempted murder and has been arrested for it – and Abe plans to make sure that he is the one who goes down for it.

David has been pleading his innocence and hearing that Josh has survived the attack gives him hope that his name will be cleared. Back home, Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) is all set for his release and their wedding day but their plans are dashed when Josh lies to the police and implicates David.

Facing years in prison, David hits rock bottom but Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) insists to Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) that he buries his feud with David and helps him. Nick pretends to be Josh’s solicitor and heads to the hospital to try and get a confession out of him.

However, Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) clocks him and questions what he is up to, putting paid to that plan. But Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) has an idea after that and suggests that Billy might be the one who is able to get through to Josh.

As Billy talks to Josh and pleads with him to change his statement, Josh makes it clear that his own safety is far more important and he will do anything to stop David testifying. Billy feels like a failure and Paul Clayton (Peter Ash) is concerned to see him looking so glum.

When Billy confides in him that Josh is a rapist, Paul’s own history comes flooding back and he makes a decision to take action. But what will he do and will he manage to get David’s name cleared?

As the planned wedding day arrives, will the groom be released just in time?

Emmerdale spoilers: Can Liv Flaherty save a broken Aaron Dingle?

Liv wants to go on the run with Aaron and Robert in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) isn’t in the best place right now in Emmerdale, what with him having been separated from husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), but could Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) be the one to help him through this rough patch?

Several weeks back, Robert was devastated when he learned that Lee had died as a result of the injuries he’d inflicted on him. Faced with the prospect of life imprisonment, he was unsure of how to proceed — that is, until Liv suggested that he go on the run with Aaron.

The pair set off together, but unforeseen circumstances resulted in Aaron returning to the village when Robert took it upon himself to hand himself into the police to save Aaron from having to live his life away from his family on the run. As a result, Aaron’s been a shell of his former self ever since.

In the coming episodes, both Liv and Victoria grow concerned about Aaron’s state of mind. He isn’t coping well, and they’re worried that he’ll have a breakdown. Yes, both Vic and Liv will no doubt pull out all the stops to ensure that Aaron gets back to him old self. The question is: could Liv perhaps be the one to help her brother through this tough time?

It’s certainly a possibility. Both Aaron and Liv are cut from the same cloth, which is why they get on so well. Over the years, she’s proven incredibly supportive towards Aaron — and vice versa.

Her recent stint in prison demonstrated just how much Aaron loves her, so perhaps she’ll feel compelled to help her brother through his tough time — much like he helped her through his.

Aaron — and by extension, the Dingles — are the only real family that Liv has, and there’s nothing she cherishes more than family — something which she demonstrates when she attempted to get money by any means necessary so that Aaron and Robert could carry on with their surrogacy plan.

Yes, Live is certainly determined, and if she’s determined to help Aaron, then he’s no doubt in good hands.

Coronation Street at Christmas
(Picture: ITV)

Hands off our Rita! We are still sighing with relief that the Coronation Street stalwart survived her near death experience when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour but now the soap is going to have another pop at Barbara Knox’s character – the second longest running in the whole of Corrie.

This Christmas, Rita will be left for dead when she falls while putting fairy lights on her tree. With her friends believing she has gone away for the festive season, she will be left trapped under the tree for days with no-one checking on her.

This will trigger fears among fans of the beloved Kabin Queen that she will pass away but thankfully she will eventually be rescued. However, the story aims to highlight the loneliness felt by many at Christmas time, particularly among the older generation who may not have visiting family or friends.

A source told The Sun: ‘Dev puts up the Christmas tree for Rita but doesn’t have time to sort the fairy lights. She ends up putting the lights on herself but when switching them on she trips and falls, pulling the tree on top of her.

‘Spending Christmas alone is a scenario many OAPs may find themselves in a few weeks.’

It sounds like a grim Christmas all round for the Weatherfield crew as it has been tipped that Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill) will be killed in an armed siege. During a funfair put on for the residents, Robert will pay a deadly price for his recent web of lies after Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) discovers the truth.

But it’s not Michelle who is going to be the one taking a violent revenge – Robert will be caught in the crossfire of Gary Windass’ (Mikey North) feud with Derek, meaning the builder turned loan shark may end up with yet more blood on his hands.

Happy Christmas folks!

Mel Owen and Sharon Mitchell in EastEnders
(Picture: BBC)

Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) has been hellbent on seeking revenge against the Mitchell clan in EastEnders for all that they put her through following Hunter’s (Charlie Winter) death, but she encountered something of a problem when Sharon (Letitia Dean) turned the tables earlier this week. With emotions running high, and huge stakes involved, Mel resorts to some pretty drastic measures in tonight’s episode to get what she wants.

After Mel learned that Sharon’s baby was Keanu’s (Danny Walters) and not Phil’s (Steve McFadden), she set about seeking revenge on the Mitchell family for all they had put her through, and thus she began blackmailing Sharon — threatening to reveal her secret if she didn’t comply with her wishes.

With Sharon having acquired Mel a villa in Portugal, she was hopeful that her business partner’s blackmail would come to an end. However, little did she know that Mel had only just begun, and — upon Sharon’s return to Walford — Mel upped the ante once more, as she threatened to sell the club to Ruby (Louisa Lytton).

However, knowing how much Sharon enjoys working in the club, Ben (Max Bowden) gave her the leverage she needed when he informed her that Mel harboured Hunter prior to the siege.

Sharon wasted little time in confronting Mel, and it seemed as if the pair reached something of an understanding. However, after Sharon was gone, Mel made her intentions clear — her plan is far from finished, and Sharon’s secret isn’t safe.

Tonight, Mel’s plan begins to unravel, but not ready to throw in the towel just yet, and thus she goes to extreme lengths — which includes lying to all those around her — in order to get what she wants.

The question is: how far will she go this time?

Mel’s made clear that she’s got nothing more to lose — whereas Sharon has everything to lose — so she’ll no doubt do whatever it takes to get revenge.

EastEnders continues Friday 1stNovember at 8pm on BBC One.

Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) has had an incredibly difficult couple of months in Coronation Street, but matters are set to get much worse for the young woman during tonight’s episodes, as — after battling a pain in her side while at work — she collapses at home.

It’s been a tough year for Emma. She learned that her dad was dying, and was forced to bid farewell to him not long after. However, she then made a shocking discovery — with Audrey’s (Sue Nicholls) help — when she discovered that Steve (Simon Gregson) was actually her biological father.

Since this reveal, Emma has spent quite a bit of time getting to know her real dad, and the two have got along rather nicely as a result. It’s certainly been an emotional few months for her, but there’s more trauma for her tonight, as she arrives into work with a pain in her side.

A concerned Maria (Samia Longchambon) asks Ali (James Burrows) to have a look at her, but he’s frustrated over having discovered that Maria’s arranged a date with Gary (Mikey North) and thus he tells Emma that she’s more than likely got food poisoning. As a result, Emma goes home and heads to bed.

However, Maria and Gary later arrive at the flat to find Emma unconscious on the floor, and thus they call an ambulance.

Later, at the hospital, Steve learns that her appendix has been ruptured and she’ll need an emergency operation, but he’s fuming when he learns that Ali didn’t check her over earlier in the day and thus accuses him of negligence.

Will Emma be okay?

What’s more, is this the end of Steve and Ali’s relationship?

Bernice comes clean to Dee Dee in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Emmerdale has confirmed that Bernice Blackstock’s (Samantha Giles) daughter Dee Dee (Mia Gibson-Reed) will return ahead of the popular character’s exit story at the end of this year – but the teenager’s comeback will cause trouble for Bernice as an unexpected turn of events leaves her questioning her future.

Viewers last saw Dee Dee when she paid a brief visit to her mum in the village back in 2017. With Bernice planning a wedding to Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), she has her hopes pinned on a happy ever after. So what will take her out of the village?

As Dee Dee reappears on the scene, it triggers something in Bernice although Emmerdale are remaining tight lipped on the exact nature of her exit storyline. The Sun has reported that Dee Dee’s reappearance will lead to ‘unexpected’ scenes for Bernice ahead of her goodbye.

Speaking at the time about her exit, Sam said: ‘After seven fabulous years I am shortly to be hanging up Bernice’s aprons and leaving the dales to pursue other creative projects. I will miss all the friends I’ve made on the show, but I’m very excited to be moving on to pastures new.’

Producer Kate Brooks added: ‘We have storylined Bernice’s departure. Before she leaves, we’ll see Bernice run a gauntlet of emotions, because she is such an iconic character with so many connections in the village.

‘We wanted to make sure that we did her character justice, and make her exit feel very believable.’

Will Bernice and Liam split up? And how will the likes of Gabby and Diane react to her departure from the village? Sam returned for her second stint in the village back in 2012 and has been at the centre of a number of storylines.

Her marriage to Lawrence White ended in tears and her love for Andy Sugden left her heartbroken when she was forced to say goodbye to him as he went on the run. She went on to have an ill fated romance with Daz Spencer.

There’s drama ahead on the Cobbles (Picture: ITV)

Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is set to face death in a dramatic turn of events in Coronation Street as a downward spiral sees him hit by a car, leaving young Bertie with the prospect of being orphaned as a baby.

Daniel goes off the rails following the tragic passing of his wife Sinead (Katie McGlynn). Unable to cope with the grief, Daniel has taken Bertie to Scotland and almost doesn’t come home for the funeral. It’s down to Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) to persuade him of the importance of saying his final farewells.

But the pain of losing Sinead is as raw as ever after he pays his final respects at her graveside and as Daniel continues to spiral out of control, a terrible accident sees him facing death – but will it give him the wake up call he needs to start to work on his grief process for the sake of Bertie?

A source told The Sun: ‘Daniel’s not going to be able to catch a break over the next few months. He will increasingly struggle to cope with living without Sinead and raising his son Bertie. His stress levels will rocket and he won’t be paying attention and will end up being hit by a car.

‘It really shakes him up realising how close to death he could have been with it potentially leaving Bertie as an orphan as a baby.’

It’s not the only shame that Daniel will feel either as he continues to beat himself up other a kiss he shared with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) in Sinead’s dying days. Show boss Iain MacLeod revealed that he would continue to feel the after effects of this and the storyline would eventually lead to Bethany’s exit early next year.

Hollyoaks spoilers: Dramatic trailer reveals suspect motives and scenes as Mercedes McQueen is shot

Hollyoaks might be hot off its big stunt week extravaganza, but things are showing no signs of slowing down in the village, as the soap has dropped a new trailer previewing all the action and drama that’s to come next week, as Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is left for dead on The Loft’s dancefloor.

Yes, it’s set to be a truly explosive week down in Chester, as — having discovered that Mercedes was the one behind the hit-and-run — Grace Black (Tamara Wall) plays Mercedes’ confession aloud at The Dog — to a room full of people mourning the loss of Harry (Parry Glasspool).

Afterwards, Mercedes attempts to do damage control, and tries to convince Sylver (David Tag) that she didn’t kill Harry — and even swears on Bobby’s life that she didn’t sleep with Liam (Jude Monk McGowan).

With the whole village having turned on her, she heads off to The Loft to dance the night away. However, one scorned villager seeks revenge and pulls the trigger — leaving her for dead.

The trailer reveals all seven suspects — all of which have a reason to want The Dog landlady dead. Liam is certainly a suspect, what with him having been betrayed by Mercedes once more in recent weeks, — and he can’t stop thinking about killing her. The question is: is he capable of following through?

Mind you, Grace is back in action, and we know that she craves revenge — but is playing the recording enough? Or will she be driven to attempted murder?

Diane (Alex Fletcher) also has plenty of motive, and we can see her sneaking into The Loft in the trailer, so could she be the one to attempt to kill Mercedes?

Sylver has devoted his life to Mercy, and yet he discovers that she betrayed him and lied to him. Is that enough to want her dead?

James (Gregory Finnegan) is heartbroken to discover Harry wasn’t behind the hit-and-run, and he wants revenge on Mercedes — as does Breda (Moya Brady), who’s attempted to kill her several times before. But do either follow through with their threats?

Then there’s Joel, who was left for dead by Liam as a result of Mercedes’ actions. Could he be the one to shoot her?

It’s set to be an incredibly explosive week, but who is responsible for leaving Mercedes for dead?

Hollyoaks kicks off the ‘Who Shot Mercedes’ storyline on E4 tonight at 7pm.

Robert Sugden in Emmerdale
Is this the end for Robert? (Picture: ITV)

Tonight’s Emmerdale is set to be an emotional one, as it will see Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) say an emotional goodbye to Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).

Upon hearing that he will be transferred to the prison on the Isle of Wight, Robert decides to let Aaron go and move on with his life, rather than living for weekly visits together.

The news will come as a shock to husband Aaron, as well as viewers at home.

But is this really goodbye, and is it the end of #Robron? We take a look.

Is Ryan Hawley leaving Emmerdale?

We found out about Ryan’s imminent departure from Emmerdale back in June when a source told The Sun that the actor planned to take a break from playing Robert, to ‘try other projects.

Ryan has spoken fondly about his five years on the ITV soap, pulling out his favourite moment in an interview earlier this year.

He said: I was so lucky to be involved in the big crash scenes in 2016. The underwater scenes that we filmed at Pinewood studios were fantastic to do. Me and Danny got to have a lot of fun there swimming in a tank.’

‘There were so many special effects in the crash sequence that week it was probably the biggest thing Emmerdale has ever done and it was amazing to be a part of it. I have been very lucky to be involved in some very ambitious stunts and storylines but that was the stand out one: everyone pulled together, we were up against the odds but I really think we managed to pull it off.’

Despite confirming his departure, Ryan has remained tight-lipped over the details of Robert’s fate.

Is Danny Miller leaving Emmerdale?

It’s hard to imagine Aaron without Robert, so will he follow suite and leave the village?

Earlier this year, it was hinted that Aaron would stay on the show, but that he would slip down a dark path, following the Robron split.

In coming episodes, Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steel) and Victoria will grow increasingly worried about Aaron’s state of mind in the aftermath of Robert’s departure.

Could Liv be the one to help Aaron pull himself together?

Time will tell.

Emmerdale continues tonight, Friday 1 November, at 7pm on ITV.

Is this the end for Mercedes? (Picture: Lime Pictures)

Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is due to be the victim of a horrifying shooting in swiftly approaching scenes on Hollyoaks.

After Harry’s (Parry Glasspool) funeral, Grace (Tamara Wall) will play a recording of Mercedes admitting that she was responsible for the hit-and-run which landed Grace in a wheelchair.

With that officially making Mercedes the least popular person in town, she’ll later find herself on the wrong end of a bullet…

Does Mercedes McQueen die in Hollyoaks?

We cannot reveal whether or not Mercedes survives the shooting, nor do we know who’s to blame.

The list of people who have been wronged by Mercedes is a long one, with Liam (Jude Monk McGowan) and Grace due to decide that Mercedes deserves to die for what she’s done after Grace airs the truth about the hit-and-run.

After the big reveal, with the whole town now aware that she’s to blame for what happened to Grace, an emotional Mercedes will go to The Loft and raid the safe where she’ll find money, drugs, and the fateful gun.

She’ll then make for the dancefloor where she’ll act as if she doesn’t have a care in the world.

As she dances, someone will grab the gun and shoot the new public enemy number one.

So which person could be to blame for this shocking act of violence?

Two wrongs don’t make a right after all, and, no matter what Mercedes has done, the culprit will surely have to answer for their crimes sooner or later…

One to watch: Friday 1st November at 7pm on E4.

Danny Walters has confirmed his decision to exit EastEnders, paving the way for a blockbuster Christmas ending for the character of Keanu Taylor as the truth about his affair with Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) comes to light in spectacular fashion.

The major exit has fuelled speculation that Keanu will die in a dramatic showdown with Phil (Steve McFadden), who, as previously revealed, will discover the truth that his wife Sharon is pregnant with Keanu’s baby.

Keanu’s life will spiral out of control as both Phil and Louise (Tilly Keeper) discover his secret but EastEnders remain tight lipped over the exact nature of the exit storyline. However, given that Christmas is often a time of death in Walford and the fact that Danny has previously teased there will be action and stunts as Phil learns of the betrayal, things are looking very grim indeed for Keanu.

An EastEnders insider teased to Metro.co.uk: ‘Keanu should know that secrets never stay secret in Walford and he’s been playing with fire for months. The truth is going to come out in spectacular fashion and bosses are promising that Keanu’s exit is going to be explosive’

Danny said: ‘It has been a joy to play Keanu Taylor for the last two and half years. I have been blessed to work with the most fantastic creative team and I will miss them and my fellow actors immensely. EastEnders will always hold a special place in my heart and I will continue to be an avid fan.’

Jon Sen, Executive Producer EastEnders, said: ‘Keanu’s story is set to come to a dramatic and blistering conclusion in the near future as one of best kept secrets on the Square is finally revealed with devastating consequences.

‘We’d all like to thank Danny for his nuanced performance as Keanu Taylor over the last two and half years. What Danny has brought to his character has been one of the reasons the Sheanu affair has been such compulsive viewing for fans. Everyone at EastEnders wishes him well for the future.’

Kim targets Graham in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) is proving that he is more than a match for his master turned enemy Kim Tate (Claire King) in Emmerdale – but he may have taken a risk too far with the killer queen by warning her that he will murder her if she does anything to harm Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry). Surely he knows that nothing good can come of threatening the mighty Kim Tate!?

Stung by Graham starting a relationship with Rhona – and also the fact that he had hidden the truth about Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) being the one to put her behind bars – Kim was smug when Graham came ‘crawling back’. But her smirk was soon wiped from her face.

As Kim told him he would have to do some serious grovelling to get back into her good books, he reminded her that everything he has done since they met has been to protect her. But as Kim assumed that he had come to beg for another chance, he stood up to her and told her that Rhona is the best thing to happen to him in a long time.

Kim tried to assert her authority by saying that she had pulled him from the gutter and given him purpose but he hit back that she had only ever been controlling and treated him as a dogsbody. With Kim reminding him that he had always known the score, he hissed that it was no longer fun and he was out.

Wanting the upper hand, Kim shouted after him that she would destroy everything he touched – not least of all Rhona. This certainly got under his skin and he loomed over her, warning her that if she lays a finger on Rhona then he will kill her.

Kim’s fierce facade crumbled into tears after Graham left – but as she composes herself and her upset is replaced by fury, will Graham regret his threat? Or is he capable of seeing it through?

Robert and Aaron in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Emmerdale has officially called time on the popular Robron pairing as Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) has made his exit from the soap – without telling husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) that this is the last time they will see each other for years.

With Robert being told ahead of his visit that he is being moved to the Isle Of Wight, he knew he couldn’t – and didn’t want to – expect Aaron to make the long journey for visits and have his life on hold waiting for them each time for months on end.

However, when he sat opposite a clearly struggling Aaron, he couldn’t bring himself to break the bad news to him and avoided telling him that there wouldn’t be future visits. As they re-asserted their love for one another, Robert poignantly handed over his wedding ring to Aaron.

(Picture: ITV)

He was ding this to try and free Aaron to live his life and, while he figured that Robert was hiding something, Aaron couldn’t guess in a million years how final this goodbye is. Robert held onto him tightly as they said their farewells and Aaron felt something was amiss but didn’t want to confront the reality of the situation.

But next week, he will hear from Robert and have his worst fears confirmed – there won’t be future visits and Robert is far away from him for the next 14 years.

With the episode marking the final appearance as Ryan in the role of Robert, it is an emotional one for Robron fans who have invested in the partnership through all its ups and downs. And to mark this sad milestone, Emmerdale showed highlights of the pair in some of their happier times as a broken Robert reflected on everything he was losing as he was locked up away from his soulmate.

No, YOU’RE crying.

Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley speak out over Robert Sugden’s sad and ‘beautiful’ Emmerdale exit

Emmerdale stars Ryan Hawley and Danny Miller have spoken out about the end of Robron after scenes aired which showed Robert Sugden say a final farewell to Aaron Dingle as he commenced a 14 year prison sentence.

Speaking about the journey and the pressure of playing Robert, Ryan said: ‘It’s been quite amazing to think of the scope of everything. I was absolutely desperate not to mess it up – there were huge expectations because the character was so huge so I just came in and did what I could. I didn’t want to let anyone down.

‘There was a lot of jeopardy at the start – and that ultimately led to Katie’s death which is where things took a turn. Did he kill Katie? A lot of people probably wanted him to face justice!

‘The relationship with Andy was quite difficult. What I found interesting was that Robert viewed him as this imposter who had taken all of the love of his parents. He was celebrated for having traditional values even though he wasn’t biologically part of the family. It reminded me of things like The Lion King or Hamlet.’

Of course, everything changed when he commenced a romance with Aaron in highly charged scene and one of soap’s most successful and impactful LGBTQ+ relationships was born.

Ryan went on: ‘He cares about all of his family – he will do anything to protect and defend them. Certainly one of the biggest shifts was the kiss between him and Aaron. This sparked off the rest of my time here, pretty much. One of the luckiest things I have had to be involved in was the underwater stuff at Pinewood – being in a car that was submerged and then having to swim out. That was so much fun. It was a great memory and valuable in storytelling – the moment Robert proposed to Aaron.

‘It’s sad that we won’t get to see Robert be a father to Seb – it was another nice side to the character which I guess we won’t get to see. Now he’s going to prison for a life sentence for enacting rvenege on someone who was a horrible guy.’

Ryan is emotional to say goodbye to his alter ego but felt it was the right time. But no-one knows more than he does how important Emmerdale is to its many fans.

He mused: ‘The scenes where he was ultimately saying goodbye to Aaron was so well written. It kind of felt the right way to wrap up my journey or my time as Robert. Emmerdale is so important to so many people. I remember as a kid at my nan’s house, they’d be glued to it. Every night – these shows are massive parts of their lives. Sadly they didn’t ever get to see it as they passed away before I came on but I just never wanted to let anyone down so just gave it all that I had really.

‘It’s been an emotional journey – and very sad to leave. I’ve learnt so much and feel so much richer for having been here. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me.’

Danny meanwhile, has spoken out to praise ‘beautiful human’ Ryan, saying on Twitter: ‘What a pleasure the last 5 years has been. An incredible actor & a beautiful man. To share the laughs, the screen & an iconic soap partnership with you has been nothing other than an honour brother!

‘Aaron lost his husband. I lose a good friend. Farewell for now, my man.’
