Gary Windass (Mikey North) in Coronation Street is a ticking time bomb – he’s been trying to keep control of his anger and audience members have been left playing a guessing game and wondering who will be next to get on the wrong side of him and end up in another grave dug out by Gary in the woods.
Upcoming episodes will see Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) wind Gary up (again) and have Gary lose his cool in a savage attack – is this the end for Ryan?
Recently, Ryan has been in Gary’s debt, paying him the money back after noticing a desk he later sold to Mary (Patti Clare) from the furniture shop had cash in. Ryan stole it and lied to Gary, insisted that he wasn’t aware that there was a stash of cash in the desk.
(Picture: ITV)
After Alya (Sair Khan) told Gary that Ryan had come into some money, Ryan confessed the truth to Gary and is now paying him back – plus interest!
Ryan gets a DJ job in a hotel but Gary is furious to learn that Ryan’s cashing in while still owing him hundreds. Gary takes his anger out on a cabinet and smashes it up with a metal poker.
Gary corners Ryan in an alleyway behind the hotel and demands his cash.. Ryan admits he lied to Robert (Tristan Gemmill) to get out of working; it’s an unpaid gig so he can’t pay. With his anger boiling over, Gary starts attacking Ryan.
With Ryan continuously stringing Gary along, promising him payments and then changing his mind, has Gary finally had enough? Will Ryan get out of this attack alive?
We already know that James Bailey (Nathan Graham) in Coronation Street is hiding the truth about his sexuality. He doesn’t want to publicly come out as he fears it would be impossible to be an openly gay, black footballer because of some fans’ prejudice. However, things will start to get a little easier for James soon as upcoming episodes see him come out as gay to his brother Michael (Ryan Russell).
James led Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) into thinking he fancied her and when she went to kiss him at the Bailey’s house party. James resisted her advances and blurted out the truth.
Michael reveals to James that he overheard his conversation with Bethany last night and reminding James that he loves him, Michael asks outright if he’s gay.
James opens up to Michael about his secret life with his friends in London. Michael’s shocked to discover that Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) has known the truth for years and Aggie declares that, since Michael’s found out, it’s not fair to keep Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) in the dark.
James is reluctant to come out to his dad and when Bethany joins the Baileys in the Rovers’ for the pub quiz and Ed sings her praises, everyone feels awkward for deceiving him.
It’s clear James is going to need a bit more time to prepare himself for talking to his dad about his sexuality. With James worried already about publicly coming out, will his dad be able to support him?
James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) has had a tough year in Hollyoaks to say the least, but could he be set to find love again? Well, if Marnie (Lysette Anthony) has anything to do it, then the answer would be yes — especially after she tells a great big lie in the coming episodes.
Following the chaotic culmination of his relationship with Harry (Parry Glasspool), James has been a shell of his former self. As a result, Marnie took it upon herself to set her son up with a profile on a dating app — but she did so in secrecy of course, to avoid James finding out about it for the time being.
With Juliet’s (Niamh Blackshaw) assistance, she managed to up her dating game, and it wasn’t long before James was getting matches.
In the coming episodes, Marnie lines up a surprise date for James. In an effort to get him to agree to go on said date, she lies and tells him that the man is the son of one of her friends. However, it doesn’t take long for James to cop on to what’s really going on and, as a result, he deliberately scares his date away.
However, upon further reflection, he agrees to give the dating app a try.
Could this be the start of a brand new chapter for James? Is he ready to start dating again?
It’s been an incredibly tough few months for Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) in EastEnders — what with Hunter (Charlie Winter) having been killed following the hostage situation he orchestrated at the Vic — but, with Mel making an alarming discovery about Sharon’s (Letitia Dean) affair with Keanu (Danny Walters), will she reveal the truth to get revenge on Phil (Steve McFadden)?
With Mel confident that Keanu is the father of Sharon’s baby and not Phil, she contemplates her next move. The E20 manager is still fuming at Phil for trying to stop her from planning her son’s funeral, so it’s safe to say she’s out for revenge. After giving it some more thought, Mel enlists Lisa’s (Lucy Benjamin) help in getting Keanu’s phone in the hopes of setting a trap for Sharon.
(Picture: BBC)
Her plan works, and Sharon cops on to the fact that Mel knows the truth — leaving her stunned. The Mitchell matriarch does her best to warn Mel off, but it’s no use, as she later discovers that Mel has her paternity test results in her possession. Left with no other choice, Sharon pleads with her business partner, begging her to keep her secret.
Before long, Mel’s motives come to light, as she blackmails Sharon, telling her she has 24 hours to convince Louise (Tilly Keeper) to move back in with Lisa.
Later in the week, Keanu picks up on Sharon’s odd behaviour and confronts her on the matter. Sharon keeps shtum, but uses Keanu’s inquisitiveness to her benefit, claiming that she can no longer live under the same roof as him. And it works, as Louise and Keanu move in with Mel, leaving Sharon relieved.
However, she soon realises that her nightmare is far from over, as Mel’s not finished with her yet.
Later, Lisa questions what Mel is up to — but will she reveal the truth to her best friend?
It’s clear that Mel has Sharon right where she wants her, and — desperate to get revenge on Phil — it’s likely only a matter of time before she spills the beans to someone.
One to watch: Monday 23rd September at 8pm on BBC One.
Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) is no stranger to keeping a secret or two in Emmerdale, and it seems as if he’ll be tasked with doing so again in the coming episodes, as he discovers some information courtesy of Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) — information that would seem to suggest that Millie is actually his daughter.
Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) requests taking Blaze out for a ride, but Kim (Claire King) voices her concerns, and ultimately warns him against doing so. However, in spite of his what his mum says, Jamie goes ahead with the horse ride, but matters get out of hand when he loses control of the horse —and all the other horses are spooked as a result. During the commotion, Millie is injured.
Jamie’s wracked with guilt, but Kim does her best to assure him that — in spite of what he thinks — it wasn’t his fault. As they await the doctor’s verdict on Millie’s injury, Andrea reveals her daughter’s date of birth — something which leaves Graham reeling.
Convinced that the date would align with that of his one night stand with Andrea, Graham questions the young woman about whether or not it’s possible that he could be Millie’s father. Andrea is shocked at Graham’s question but does her best to hide her secret dread from her family. Determined to get the truth out of her, Graham leaves her an angry message demanding that she stop ignoring him.
At the hospital, Graham confronts Andrea once more, demanding that she give him the answers he’s so desperately craving. However, she refrains from doing so, as she fears there could be some truth to what Graham is saying — which would mean that her family is built on a lie.
Determined to keep her family together, Andrea pleads with Graham to keep their one-night stand a secret. She also tells him that he’s not Millie’s dad — but Kim’s right-hand man is simply not convinced.
Will Graham keep shtum about his one-night-stand with Andrea? Or will he enlighten Jamie and Kim?
What’s more, could he perhaps really be Millie’s dad? Or is Andrea simply worrying over nothing?
Either way, Jamie’s not going to be too pleased should he find out!
Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) was given a second chance at happiness in Emmerdale when old flame Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) turned up in the village. Although there was plenty of animosity between the pair upon Will’s return, the former lovers have managed to rekindle their romance — but it appears as if their happiness could be scuppered in the coming episodes courtesy of Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb).
With Cain (Jeff Hordley) temporarily out of the picture, Moira decides to enjoy the little time she has left with Nate (Jurrell Carter) in the caravan — but problems ensue when Matty (Ash Palmisciano) almost walks in on them. After failing to gain entry, both Matty and Ryan take up residence outside the caravan with a spliff — leaving Moira panicked about how she’ll be able to get out. Eventually, she manages to to do so — but she comes face to face with a lumbering Matty. What will transpire?
Meanwhile — with the anniversary of Holly’s death approaching — Harriet does her utmost to offer Moira support. Moira’s grateful but — upon realising that Harriet’s in a relationship with Will — she’s shocked. Matters are made worse when Cain reveals that he already knew of Will’s history with Harriet.
With Will having had a history of selling drugs, Moira’s convinced that it was him who sold Matty the weed.
Cain rebukes her claims, and attempts to talk some sense into her — but Moira’s having none of it. As a result, she interrupts the Harvest Festival and reveals Will’s past as a drug trafficker to everyone in attendance.
With the congregation in shock, Harriet’s upset that her relationship with Will has gone public in such an awful fashion.
With Harriet having been incredibly supportive towards Moira, could this be the end of the pair’s friendship?
Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) has been busy keeping her steamy affair with newcomer Nate (Jurrell Carter) in Emmerdale a secret, but that proves to be the least of her problems in the coming episodes, as — with the anniversary of Holly’s (Sophie Powles) death approaching — she behaves in a fashion that even leaves Cain (Jeff Hordley) appalled.
With Cain still away, Moira decides to enjoy what little time she has left with Nate, and thus the pair have fun in the caravan. However, Matty (Ash Palmisciano) almost walks in on them but — in spite of him failing to gain entry — both he and Ryan (James Moore) takes up residence outside the caravan with a spliff.
Moira’s concerned about how she’ll be able to get out, but she eventually spies a window of opportunity and manages to escape. Upon her exit from the caravan, she comes face to face with a lumbering Matty.
Throughout the week, her mind is elsewhere, as the anniversary of Holly’s death is growing closer. Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) proves to be a great source for support for Moira — something which she’s very grateful for. That is, until she learns about the vicar’s relationship with Will (Dean Andrews).
(Picture: ITV)
Matters are made worse when Moira learns that Cain was already aware of Will’s history with Harriet. With Will having had a reputation for selling drugs prior to his arrival in Emmerdale, Moira puts two and two together and — evidently having come up with the wrong answer — is convinced that Harriet’s beau is the one who sold Matty the weed.
Cain attempts to talk some sense into her — but Moira’s mind is made up, so she heads to the village hall and interrupts the Harvest Festival, revealing — to all those in attendance — Will’s past as a drug trafficker. The congregation is left in shock, but it’s Harriet that evidently upset.
If that wasn’t a bad enough experience for Harriet to have had to endure, Moira proceeds to insult her — and Cain is left appalled by her venomous words.
Will Cain prevent Moira from doing any more damage? Or are things simply too far gone?
Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway (Tony Clay) has had plenty on his plate in EastEnders, what with his wedding to Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) having ended ruin following his fling with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) having come to light. However, things are set to get worse for the young man, as Whitney drops a huge bombshell in the coming episodes.
With a cushy job, a new flat and a wonderful girlfriend in Whitney, Callum seemingly had everything he could’ve ever wanted. However, it soon came to light that the young man was struggling with his sexuality — something which Ben copped on to during a conversation with him back in May. In spite of incessantly rebuking Ben, Callum sought solace in the Mitchell lad — what with him having been through the same thing.
After their hear-to-heart, a night of passion ensued, leaving Callum feeling guilty. Unable to lie any longer, Callum came clean about his fling with Ben to a stunned Whitney, and — in spite of her attempts to carry on with the wedding ceremony — the young woman ultimately decided she couldn’t make him live a lie.
With several weeks having passed since the wedding-that-never-was, Whitney returns in the coming episodes, leaving Callum in shock.
She makes it clear that she wants to collect the rest of her belongings, but the two end up having a heart-to-heart.
Whitney drops a bombshell — and it’s something which leaves Callum stunned.
Later, he gets drunk in The Queen Vic, as he struggles to come to terms with the news.
The question is: what is it that Whitney has revealed?
One to watch: Friday 27th September at 8pm on BBC One.
A face from the past has brought back some memories for Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) in Coronation Street. When Paul and Gemma’s (Dolly-Rose Campbell) stepdad Kel (Joe Alessi) arrived back on the scene, Paul was reminded of the ordeal he went through when he was younger. Viewers already know that Paul was groomed into thinking he was in a consensual relationship with Kel and soon Paul will reveal all about his sex abuse past after he is threatened.
Gemma goes to the Rovers with Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove), Kel, Rita (Barbara Knox) and Chesney (Sam Aston). Paul directs snide remarks at Bernie but retreats, feeling guilty, when he hears the news about one of Gemma and Chesney’s babies being smaller than the rest. Kel collars Paul in the gents’ and urges him to move on from the past but Paul can’t pretend nothing happened.
Paul flies off the handle at Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) in the cafe, arguing that although he had underage sex, he gave full consent. Billy retorts that, at fourteen, he was too young to consent. Paul storms off. Later, Billy is horrified to see Kel bringing Joseph (William Flanagan) home from school in his car so invites Joseph to join him and Summer (Matilda Freeman) for tea.
Paul’s on the verge of opening up when Bernie interrupts. Later, Billy is puzzled to see Paul in the Rovers playing happy families with Bernie, Kel, Gemma and Chesney. When Bernie hands around old photos, it dawns on Paul how young he really was in comparison to adult Kel.
Billy tracks down a shocked Paul to Victoria Street. As he knocks back vodka, Paul admits all sorts of things he’s been blocking out are flooding back. Billy explains he was groomed and abused but Paul insists he loved Kel. As Paul breaks down, Billy is rocked by the depth of his denial.
With Billy supporting Paul as he tries to come to terms with his past, will he be able to tell his family? And most importantly, will they believe him?
Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) has been faced with quite the dilemma in Hollyoaks, as — over the past couple of months — he’s struggled to choose between his devotion to God and his love for Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey), and this struggle is set to continue in the coming episodes, as he prepares for some life-changing news.
Several months back, Joel came to the realisation that he was developing feelings for Goldie. Due to him training to become a priest, he resisted these feelings, but soon the chemistry was simply too hard to ignore, and thus he admitted to Goldie how he truly felt. Their romance was later rumbled by a fuming Breda (Moya Brady), but Joel managed to convince the villainous granny to keep shtum by ensuring her that he wouldn’t tell a soul about her attacking him with a bible.
In the coming episodes, Joel and Goldie have the house to themselves but — in spite of his attempts to enjoy his time with his girlfriend — Joel’s mind is elsewhere, as he’s waiting on a life-changing phone call.
He opens up to Goldie about what’s on his mind, telling her that he’s planning to join the Church of England and become a vicar instead. However, Breda finds out about what he’s up to — and is furious.
Later in the week, Joel tells Goldie that his faith will take quite a while to get sorted out — but she takes his words the wrong way.
With Joel conflicted, will he manage to succeed in reconciling his relationship and his faith?
What’s more, with Goldie upset with her man, could Breda perhaps swoop in and try to finish the job by attempting to murder Joel again?

Is Ric about to make a life-changing mistake? (Picture: BBC)
It’s all about babies in tonight’s Holby City, when Ric’s granddaughter Darla (Naomi Katiyo) dramatically goes into early labour. When Darla needs him the most, Ric (Hugh Quarshie) – whose behaviour is causing growing concern – is nowhere to be seen. Who’ll be on hand to help Darla?

6. When a rare case presents itself in Darwin, Kian (Ramin Karimloo), Nicky (Belinda Owusu) and Chloe all have to work together. With Chloe constantly spooked by thoughts of Evan, can she maintain her focus when the situation gets even more complicated?
7. Darla is waiting for Ric to go with her to a midwife appointment but as time goes on she realises he’s forgotten about her. When she goes into labour early a surprising person is around to help – but where is Ric? And what exactly is wrong with him?

Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) is about to get a horrific wake up call tonight as the truth dawns on him about how he has been groomed by far right terrorists Jonny (Ray Quinn) and Stuart (Chris Simmons) – but it looks like it might be too late to put things right.
As a hate filled Jonny determined to attack the engagement party with a device, the bomb fell to the ground and exploded in the back yard next to the Maalik household. Yasmine (Haiesha Mistry) was nearby and was left with her life hanging in the balance, while Jonny was also badly injured in the explosion.
As the dust settles, Ste is reeling from how far things have gone. Destruction lies in the wake of Jonny’s actions and as Misbah (Harvey Virdi) rushes to the scene of the chaos, she and Sami (Rishi Nair) are terrified that they will lose Yasmine.
But with Jonny bleeding to death in the kitchen, Misbah can’t ignore her conscience and her morals and determines to try and save him too. But Ste is dumbstruck with disgust as Jonny’s loathing reaction to Misbah coming near him and he makes it clear that he would rather die than be helped by a Muslim doctor.
(Picture: Lime Pictures)
Misbah bravely follows through with the treatment in the face of the horrific abuse while Ste watches the scene unfold – but can Jonny be saved? Or will he push Misbah away and allow himself to die with his soul full of hate?
Meanwhile, Sami angrily confronts Ste about what has happened – with Ste having boasted that he would be involved in something big, Sami tells him that Yasmine could die because of what he is involved in.
In a highly charged scene, Sami spells out to Ste exactly what has happened to him and how he is a pawn in the world of a racist gang. While Ste recites everything he has been told, Sami gives him food for thought as he hits him with some home truths.
With Ste slowly seeing how the far right gang operate, will he be ready to turn on them and their horrific beliefs? Or is he too far trapped in their world now to escape?
And what about the Maaliks and the community as a whole, who are rocked by what has happened in the village as a result of racism and radicalisation? Can they all unite and fight back against the depraved poison from the far right?
Hollyoaks continues on Tuesday 17th September at 7pm on E4.
Hollyoaks is set to bid farewell to a few more of its number before the year is up (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Life in suburban Chester is rarely serene for the residents of Hollyoaks, with more departures on the way across the rest of the year and into 2020.
From political indoctrination to the perils of romantic jealousy, few characters are safe from one week to the next in the compelling, long-running drama.
Keeping score of how many characters are left can be tricky, which is why we’ve compiled a list of the departees we know are on the way.
Read on to find out if any of your favourite figures might be leaving…
Stuart Sumner (Chris Simmons)
Stuart (right) has been causing a heap of trouble in Hollyoaks (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Stuart is one of the ringleaders of a far-right group that is ensnaring many of the soap’s characters, and this week their most sinister plan yet has been revealed in the shape of a devastating terrorist attack.
They have spent months manipulating the likes of Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) in a plot that will have disastrous consequences.
The storyline has been developed alongside Love Music Hate Racism as part of a number of week-long specials.
Chart-toppers including Rita Ora and Stormzy have contributed to the accompanying soundtrack.
Exit date: Late 2019
Jonny Baxter (Ray Quinn)
Ray Quinn has made his mark on the show as Jonny (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Breda McQueen has left a trail of destruction through Hollyoaks (Picture: Channel 4)
The mother and nanny is a multiple murderer, having killed eight people and attempted to polish off a further six since 1986.
This year alone she has killed three people, starting with the murder of Louis Loveday (Karl Collins) in January.
She proceeded to poison Mac Nightingale (David Easter) in March before waiting a full four months to stab Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool) to death in July.
Although Breda has not been confirmed as leaving, Hollyoaks writers are planning to wrap up the murder storyline in the near future which suggests she will be on the way out too – much to the relief of anyone with an interest in the safety of its remaining characters.
Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin)
Nadine Mulkerrin is heading off on maternity leave (Picture: Channel 4)
The 26-year-old is in a real-life relationship with former Hollyoaks love interest Rory Douglas-Speed, who plays Joel Dexter in a pairing that has survived a motorbike crash, kidnapping and pregnancy.
Mulkerrin was nominated for Best Female Dramatic Performance last year, rewarding her moving performances as heartbreaking year as Cleo McQueen.
Cleo’s current boyfriend, Mitchell, is involved in a new storyline in which he develop feelings for Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams).
Speaking earlier this year, Mulkerrin said she would ‘try to plod on’ until her departure, telling the Radio Times: ‘I think they’re going to finish me off in September.
‘I’ve heard whispers on the grapevine which I couldn’t possibly reveal but I’m not sure – I think it’s all been open.’
Mulkerrin appeared to be joking when she teased that she may not return to Cheshire, adding: ‘All I know is September time is usually a big time of year on screen. Maybe I’m not coming back – I don’t know.’
This will be the first time that two actors from the soap have had a child together.
Exit date: Late 2019
The soap stars waving goodbye to soapland in 2019
It’s not just Hollyoaks facing staff exits this year; find out who else is leaving your other favourite soaps below:
It’s a hard hitting watch and a huge challenge for any actor to take on. Being groomed and radicalised into a racist far right movement set up to spout hatred and vitriol against Muslims, Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) has become distinctly unpopular among Hollyoaks fans – and understandably so.
After years of building Ste back up as a character following a domestic abuse story, Kieron admitted during a conference attended by Metro.co.uk that he was worried about turning his alter ego into a hate figure after nearly 14 years. As a result of some of the scenes Ste has been at the centre of, Kieron has been at the centre of backlash which has led to him deleting his social media accounts.
So it probably comes as little surprise that when the story was pitched to him, Kieron was deeply nervous and almost didn’t take on the challenge. However, a year on, and he couldn’t be more proud of the impact of the storyline, with many praising the soap for tackling the growing issue of far right extremism head on.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk and others, Kieron explained: ‘When the guys sat me down originally, I hadn’t heard of radicalisation before and I didn’t know what it was. Then we had a meeting with the guys from Exit UK. Basically, most of our story has been based on their work.
‘I came out of that meeting and said to (Hollyoaks boss) Bryan Kirkwood, !I don’t want to do it. I’m too scared, I can’t do it. I’m so glad now though, over a year later, that I did. Watching this week’s episodes, I’m so proud of it as a body of work.’
The episodes see Ste finally see the truth about the far right group following an explosion that has had devastating consequences.
The newest member of the Griffin family (Picture: BBC)
Ric Griffin’s mental deterioration on Holby City has been played out very gradually over a couple of months. It’s gone from a little bit of forgetfulness that can be easily brushed off to today’s almost life-altering mistake, in which a woman who only needed antibiotics could well have woken up with half her intestines missing.
Even more upsetting (though possibly not for the patient with the bowel problem) is the way his personality has altered, and this was glaringly apparent in his lack of thought for granddaughter Darla in this episode. He was supposed to be going with her to a midwife appointment, but completely forgot.
She was left sitting in his office for most of the day and eventually Cameron suggested she should eat something as she was feeling dizzy. They went to Pulses for a milkshake, but it wouldn’t have been an interesting enough setting for a dramatic birth scene (too many doctors too close to hand). Instead Cameron forgot his wallet, the unspeaking lady behind the counter at Pulses refused to hand over the drinks to a junior doctor and a heavily pregnant teenager without payment (nice), so they went to Cameron’s flat to get the money. It was there that Darla’s waters broke and Cameron realised he might have to deliver the baby himself.
Ric did manage to get there, but by then Darla had admitted to Cameron that Ric’s behaviour was sometimes a bit erratic and she didn’t want granddad anywhere near her. Cameron delivered the baby with the help of an obstetrician friend on his phone despite it being breech and not an easy delivery. Nic Jackman and Naomi Katiyo played these scenes brilliantly, as of course did Hugh Quarshie – it was really upsetting to see Ric sidelined at the moment when he would usually have been needed the most.
Sacha stands by Essie (Picture: BBC)
Back at the hospital, Cameron asked Ric if he thought he might possibly be showing signs of dementia. We know from Ric’s recent search history that he’s been thinking along those lines himself, but he had a right go at Cameron instead, taunting him that he’ll never be anywhere as good a doctor as his mother. What’s it going to take for Ric to admit that he needs help?
When Essie needed help this week, the person she went to was, of course, the glorious Sacha. Baby Isla was seriously ill and Sacha diagnosed a twisted bowel. Because Essie isn’t really the official adoptive parent of Isla she didn’t have her medical records and she didn’t have the authority to sign the consent form for surgery. She was forced to tell Sacha what had really happened. She told him she was terrified that she’d be struck off as a nurse if the truth came out. She also told him that the reason she wasn’t accepted by the adoption agency was that she’s only recently had cancer and she hadn’t been in remission for long enough. This was a difficult position for Sacha to be in, but he loves the bones of Essie and is standing by her – for now. And Isla had her operation and is going to be fine.

If only we could be so confident that Chloe is going to be fine. We heard that Evan appears to abiding by a court order to keep away from Chloe and the hospital, but Chloe kept thinking she saw him all over the place. A quick review of the hospital’s CCTV footage showed that it hadn’t been him, so she was determined to go off to Bernie’s cottage in the country (which is getting more use these days than it ever did when Bernie was at Holby) and relax. The problem is that her instincts that Evan was somewhere around were correct – he was in the car park. And he’s put a tracking device on her car. As she heads to the remote countryside, we’ve got to be worried for her.

Fans think Lucy’s ghost might lure Bobby to his death (Pictures: BBC)
Fans think Bobby Beale (played by Eliot Carrington) may be killed by Lucy Beale’s ghost after the troubled teen was seen wandering onto train tracks at the end of Tuesday’s show.
In recent episodes, Bobby – who killed his sister Lucy (Hetti Bywater) and served time in a young offenders unit for the crime – has been seeing her ‘ghost’ following him around the house and whispering to him.
Bobby almost burned down his dad, Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) house after Lucy’s ghost kept plaguing the room she was killed in, and Tuesday’s show saw him waking up on a park bench and hallucinating from the visions he has been having.
After trying and failing to get rid of Lucy’s voice from his head, telling him things like: ‘Forgive you? You lost your temper, I lost my life’, Bobby almost got himself run over by Linda Carter after running in front of her car.
He took some – frankly terribly – advice from Rainie Cross (Tanya Franks), who told him the reason she turned to drugs was because it made all the noise in her head ‘go away’, which plants the seed in Bobby’s head to get hold of some pills.
Procuring who-knows-what from the shady Walford drug dealers by the playground, Bobby takes some of the pills he has bought to try and block Lucy out of his mind.
In his delirious state, after caressing some of the local foliage, Bobby wanders onto the train tracks with the ghost waiting for him on the other side at the end of the episode.

Fans were convinced this means the end for Bobby, and that Lucy’s ghost will lead him to his death in the path of an oncoming train.
Part of the reason Bobby had killed Lucy was that she had been taking drugs, so for him to be lured to his death for doing the same could be seen as her ‘revenge’.
Fans tweeted: ‘The scenes with Lucy haunting Bobby on tonight’s @bbceastenders were once again brilliant. I really hope Bobby doesn’t end up under a train.’
Another added: ‘No no no no not train tracks bobby!’ and ‘So on edge watching Bobby, hope he’s going to be okay’.
Viewers will have to tune in on Thursday to see what’s happened to the troubled youngster.
Eastenders returns on Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) has never been one to mind her own business in Emmerdale, and she’s meddling once more in upcoming episodes — and, this time, it’s Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) who’s business she’s getting involved in.
In spite of having only been back in the village for a couple of weeks, it’s safe to say that Mandy has made herself at home. Not only that, but she’s been at the centre of plenty of drama already, and it appears as if she’s going to be involved in plenty more in the coming episodes, as she gets involved in Chas and Paddy’s business once more.
With an antenatal class imminent, Chas reveals to Paddy that she doesn’t want to attend. In an attempt to help Paddy out, Mandy decides to feign a pregnancy so that she can accompany him to said antenatal class.
The Dingle legend has undoubtedly returned to the village with a purpose — and this big secret of hers no doubt involves Paddy — so, the question is: could she perhaps be hoping to get closer to Paddy by attending this class with him?
If this does, in fact, prove to be the case, then will Paddy perhaps fall for her charms?
The two have quite the history together and — considering this is one of the first times they’ve been on their own in quite some time — it’s hard not to wonder about whether or not sparks may fly?
Or could Mandy simply be helping out an old friend?
Either way, how will Chas react when she learns of Mandy’s antics?
