Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden has opened about recently losing his friend to suicide.

With World Mental Health Day on the horizon, Matthew — who plays David Metcalfe in the hit ITV soap — took to Instagram yesterday to share a personal message.

The image, which he simply captioned with ‘#worldmentalhealthday2019’, mentioned how he lost a friend to suicide ‘only 3 weeks ago’.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B3cFFBFBFbg/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=dlfix

In the image, he said: ‘As someone who has openly talked about my battles over the years with depression, I thought it only proper to put a little post out there on such an important day #worldmentalhealthday2019.’

‘Only 3 weeks ago I lost a friend to suicide, he was 52 and outwardly the happiest, funniest, friendliest man you could meet. You never know what someone is going through on the inside’.

He finished out the message by encouraging readers to ‘talk about mental health’, saying: ‘Don’t be embarrassed about talking about mental health. Be open, talk, it WILL help.’

Fans were quick to post their messages of support below, with one saying: ‘Sending lots of love xxx’ while another commented ‘So sad and so true. Well said’, with another adding: ‘So sorry for your loss. Thankyou for sharing’.

Matthew has been at the centre of Emmerdale as of late, with his character David featuring heavily in the recent food-poisoning narrative, as well as the grooming storyline which saw David’s son Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) groomed by teacher Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein).

Irene in Home and Away
Irene faces court (Picture: Seven)

Irene (Lynne McGranger) has been nervously awaiting her court trial for a while now, and her lawyer has been hard at work preparing both her and Bella (Courtney Miller) to discuss the events that went down with Tommy (Adam Sollis) in front of a jury. Now the day has come for them both to find out what Irene’s sentence will be for attacking Tommy after getting him off Bella during an act of assault.

While court prepares to begin, Bella is having a panic attack at home, with Colby (Tim Franklin) trying to calm her down. Bella is saying she can’t testify for Irene as the trauma of Tommy’s assault is much too raw. Colby tells her that what Tommy did isn’t her fault – but the question remains: will she be able to testify for Irene?

Meanwhile, Irene and Leah (Ada Nicodemou) have met with the lawyer and are concerned that Bella is nowhere to be seen. Leah encourages her to press on with the trial. It’s a difficult start for Irene as the prosecutor lists her criminal allegations.

When a witness is called to the stand, Irene is stunned, and her lawyer protests. However, the judge overrules him, and lets the witness go forward. In a wheelchair and shedding crocodile tears is Tommy, who recounts his version of events – which is full of lies.

He says that he and Bella were intimate, and he feared for his life when Irene attacked him. Irene’s anger continues to mount as he gives his statement, and she eventually snaps, calling out Tommy for his behaviour…what does this mean for Irene and her case?

Coronation Street spoilers: Actress Ruxandra Porojnicu confirmed to return as Alina Pop

Alina and Seb in Coronation Street
(Picture: ITV)

Coronation Street viewers will have to bid farewell to quite a few familiar faces in the coming months, but actress Ruxandra Porojnicu will be making a return to the soap, which means that her character Alina Pop — who featured heavily in the modern slavery and human trafficking storyline earlier this year — will be back on our screens real soon.

Alina worked at Nail Sparkle — the nail bar which was operated by the slavery ring of which she was a victim, and was made to work there against her will. During her time on the cobbles, she also built up quite the relationship with Seb (Harry Visinoni) — whom she met while he completed a building job at the nail bar.

Although he was first unaware of her circumstances, the truth eventually came to light, when Jan Losinski (Piotr Baumann) brought down the slavery ring. In spite of their burgeoning relationship, Alina and Seb were forced to go their separate ways when Alina left earlier this year.

However, it appears as if the young couple could have another shot at happiness, as The Daily Star reports that Coronation Street bosses are bringing back actress Ruxandra.

A source told The Daily Star: ‘Alina’s harrowing story was one of the biggest of the year and Ruxandra’s performance during some of the darker scenes was heartbreaking.

‘She proved very popular with the viewers and everyone was gutted that Alina and Seb didn’t get their happy ending. So with her returning later this year it looks like their love story is far from over.’

‘There’s so much scope for the writers given everything that she’s been through. Everyone is very excited about her return.’

Coronation Street returns on Wednesday 16th October at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.

Hollyoaks spoilers: Imran Adams reveals Mitchell Deveraux and Scott Drinkwell’s future

Hollyoaks fans have been watching Mitchell Deveraux’s struggles over his feelings for Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) and his alter ego Anita unfold and torment him over recent weeks and soon it will be a case of decision time. But actor Imran Adams has promised that the story is far from over – and he hasn’t seen any viewers with a correct theory yet.

At the moment, he remains in a relationship with Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) but he continues to be drawn back to Anita. Scott is confused about where Mitchell’s heart truly lies and, to be honest, so is he himself.

But it could be all about to end in tears as the storyline gathers pace.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Imran explained: ‘Mitchell has so many secrets in his family and his relationships with Cleo and Scott. 2020 is the year that the Deveraux family will get a bigger platform.

‘There are loads of conspiracy theories online but I haven’t seen anyone get it right. It’s going to be explosive. Mitchell’s character dynamic definitely changes for Christmas – and the village is going to change forever.

‘Expect the unexpected with Scott and Mitchell. It’s a beautiful story about love and acceptance. Bryan Kirkwood is a genius – I feel so honoured to be a part of it!’

SCOTT GIVES MITCHELL AN ULTIMATUM EMBARGOED UNTIL 24 SEPT

Of course, the pair have to survive the upcoming stunt disaster coming up. As the crane equipment topples, the oblivious couple share a kiss, as shown in the recent trailer.

But will it be a kiss of death as they finally give in to their feelings towards each other. And, with Nadine set to depart the show for her maternity leave, it looks like any chance of a happy ending for Cleo and Mitchell is dashed regardless.

Fans will have to wait and see if Mitchell discovers who he truly is – and embraces it.

Maureen Lipman jokes that asking her for Coronation Street spoilers is like asking Boris Johnson if he was intimate with Jennifer Arcuri

$

When it comes to dishing out spoilers, soap stars tend to be well trained on what they can or can’t say – and there was no persuading thespian icon Maureen Lipman to part with any Coronation Street storyline details when we chatted to her at the recent Inside Soap Awards.

In fact, the Best Newcomer winner joked that it’s ‘like asking Boris Johnson if he was intimate with that American woman’, referring to the Jennifer Arcuri situation. Amid questioning over whether Arcuri gained government funding due to a closeness to the Prime Minister, Boris has remained tight lipped.

And Maureen is just as cagey when it comes to soap spoilers!

She told Metro.co.uk: ‘I can’t say anything, I know that’s what you’d like but it’s a bit like asking Boris is he was intimate with the American woman!’

However, she was persuaded to part with one small morsel as she hinted that there were confrontational scenes ahead thanks to sinister new nanny Jade, who appears to have it in for Fiz.

Maureen said: ‘Things get very tight with the nanny and combatative with Fiz and Tyrone so we’re playing that at the moment – I call it Confrontation Street.’

Maureen Lipman
(Picture: Backgrid)

But while Maureen is having a blast at Coronation Street, there is one thing that she has to suspend logic for – the sleeping arrangements chez Dobbs.

She smiled: ‘I don’t know where we all sleep – we must be sleeping top to tail! And the dog is big! It’s like a Tardis that house – you don’t question these things too quickly. Evelyn is established now in the Street and even people who don’t like her begrudgingly respect that she can tell them they’re not very nice to their face!

‘I am really happy that the viewers picked me for their award – it really should be best latecomer after doing this for 52 years! But I think I am showing that this old dog has a few new tricks. I love being part of the company, I feel very loved in Manchester and it feels very organic to be here with my husband having written 250 episodes and myself having watched episode one.’

Big Mo reveals details of her sex life and EastEnders fans are horrified

Kat and Mo in EastEnders
(Picture: BBC)

EastEnders has something of a reputation when it comes to revealing big secrets, but viewers certainly got more than they bargained for during last night’s episode, when Big Mo (Laila Morse) went into details about her sex life, as a horrified Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Jean (Gillian Wright) listened on.

An optimistic Jean whistled while doing the dishes in the Slater household, and Kat — amused by Jean’s good mood — relayed to Big Mo how it was clear that Jean was ‘getting some’.

Smiling, Mo retorted how Jean’s ‘not the only one.’ Horrified by Mo’s response, Kat made it clear that she didn’t want to know by telling her to nan to ‘shut up’, but — determined to brag about her sex life — Mo refused to hold back.

She told Kat that ‘it doesn’t stop at 80’, before trying to make a deal with Jean to spill the details about her sex life in exchange for what she gets up to with Fat Elvis.

Viewers were in stitches at Mo’s comments, and wasted little time in taking to social media.

Shockingly, this isn’t the first time that Mo has mentioned what she gets up to in the bedroom either, as — earlier this year — she tried to flirt with Daniel (Adrain Edmondson) in the cafe as an amused Stuart (Ricky Champ) watched on.

Daniel wasted little time in rebuffing her advances and she said: ‘I won’t bite.’

She also made a cheeky innuendo on this occasion as well, as she discussed her and Fat Elvis’ bedroom antics in a scene which had viewers in stitches.

Oh, Mo!

EastEnders continues on Friday 11th October at 8pm on BBC One.

Why isn’t Emmerdale on tonight and when is it back?

We’ll be away from the village until next week (Picture: ITV)

Yes, you read that right – Emmerdale won’t be airing a new episode tonight.

This means that we’ll have to wait until next week to see horrid rapist Lee’s (Kris Mochrie) fate, and how it ultimately impacts Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) future.

Until then, here’s what you need to know about why the soap won’t be on, and when it’s coming back.

Why isn’t Emmerdale on tonight?

Emmerdale has been bumped from the ITV schedule tonight to make way for the football.

Episodes of both Emmerdale and Corrie have been replaced by games which are part of the UEFA Championship qualifiers.

England will be playing against Czech Republic on Friday 11 October, and on Monday 14 October, England will be taking on Bulgaria.

This means that Emmerdale won’t be hitting our screens again until Tuesday 15 October, when the soap will return with an hour-long episode.

Therefore we’ll have to wait until next week to say goodbye to Robron, who will go on the run together after it’s revealed that Lee died from the injuries that Robert dealt him in a rage.

Emmerdale will next be on on Tuesday 15 October on ITV.

We’ll be away from the cobbles for a little while longer yet… (Picture: ITV)

This is not a drill – Coronation Street will not be on tonight, Friday 11 October.

That means we’ll have to wait until next week to see David (Jack P Shepherd) see his vile rapist again and to see how our Sinead (Katie McGlynn) is coping with her terminal diagnosis.

For anyone in danger of suffering from cobbles withdrawal until then, here’s what you need to know about why Corrie won’t be on, and when it will be back…

Why is Coronation Street not on tonight?

We’re sorry to break it to you, but not only is Corrie canceled tonight, but it won’t be on again until Wednesday 16 October.

This is because ITV are clearing the airwaves to make way for the UEFA Championship qualifier matches.

Footy fans out there will likely already know that on Friday 11 October, England will be playing against the Czech Republic, and on Monday 14 October, England will be going up against Bulgaria.

When Coronation Street hits our screens again, we’ll see pregnant Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) get up to some typical hijinx and wedge herself in a turnstile.

In more serious scenes, and David will come face to face with his rapist Josh (Ryan Clayton) while in prison and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) makes a confession which could make Sinead’s last days even worse than they have to be.

Corrie will be back on Wednesday 16 October.

Who is Alan Halsall and who is his girlfriend Tisha Merry?

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here is still a while away from hitting our screens this winter, but the rumours about who will enter the camp this year are escalating and Alan Halsall’s name is coming up a lot.

An actor known for his role on a very famous TV show, far from denying rumours that he’s joining the I’m A Celeb line-up, Alan has been teasing his fans and followers on social media with hints that he is going into the jungle.

Taking a break from teasing his potential trip Down Under, this week Alan has been poking fun at himself on social media because of the age gap between himself and his girlfriend, Tisha Merry. But who is Tisha and how did the couple meet?

Who is Alan Halsall?

Alan Halsall is a 37-year-old British actor who is best known for playing Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street.

A fixture on The Cobbles since 1998, the Manchester-born star has been a regular on the soap as amiable mechanic Tyrone for the last 21 years and has only appeared in a handful of other TV shows.

His other roles pre-Coronation Street include a role in TV series The Cops back in 1998 and also appeared in Heartbeat between 1998 and 1999 as school lad Trevor Chivers when he was only 16.

Having never taken to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor or cooked up a storm on MasterChef, Alan is a relative newbie to reality TV – although he did appear on the I’m A Celeb spinoff, I’m a Celebrity… Extra Camp, in 2017 as an interviewee.

Could that have inspired him to enter the jungle this year? Only time will tell.

Who is Alan Halsall’s girlfriend Tisha Merry?

Alan Halsall confirmed his romance with his former Coronation Street co-star Tisha Merry earlier this year, following months of speculation that they were a couple.

They went public with their romance in May 2019 when they shared a snap of them kissing at Sam Aston’s wedding to Briony Gardner in Cheshire.

Tisha appeared in Corrie from 2013-2017 as waitress Steph Britton and returned briefly again in 2018.

At 27 years old, Tisha is 10 years younger than Alan, prompting the actor to upload a video of himself in the midst of a beauty routine at home with the caption: ‘The s**t ya have to do when your girlfriends 10 years younger than you!!’

Prior to dating Tisha, Alan was previously married to former Corrie star Lucy-Jo Hudson, and has a daughter with her named Sienna-Rae.

Lucy and Alan met on the set of Corrie in 2002 and married in 2009 before welcoming their first child together in 2013. The couple separated briefly in 2016 but reconciled, before announcing their official split in 2018.

Is Ade Edmondson’s character Daniel Cook dead in EastEnders?

Could this be the end for Daniel? (Picture: Kieron McCarron/BBC)

Tonight’s EastEnders is set to be an emotional one as Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) will discover Daniel Cook (Ade Edmondson) has died.

The couple had bonded in the cancer ward over the last few months, despite initially being at loggerheads due to Daniel’s cynicism.

The devastating news will hit Jean particularly hard after Daniel admitted his feelings for her just last week, with the pair even sharing a kiss.

So, what led up to Daniel’s tragic departure and what is his story so far?

Daniel first appeared on EastEnders on 25 June where he was seen at Walford General being difficult with the nurses.

He and Jean initially got off to a rocky start when he rubbed her up the wrong way with offensive remarks, however the pair got over their differences as they started to see each other more and more at the ward, while being treated for cancer.

Earlier this month Daniel revealed his cancer had returned and was terminal, leading Jean to promise to take care of him.

However these plans look as though they will be tragically cut short.

In tonight’s episode, Jean is expecting to inform Stacey about her blossoming romance with Daniel when she suddenly receives a call from his neighbour to inform her that he has passed away.

You’ll have to tune in to see how Jean reacts…

EastEnders spoilers: Shock twist as Daniel Cook revealed to be alive as Jean Slater attends his memorial service

After receiving tragic news last night in EastEnders, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) mourned her fallen friend in tonight’s episode, as — with Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) by her side — she attended his memorial service. However, there was shock twist in store for viewers, as Daniel (Adrian Edmondson) was later revealed to be alive.

With Martin (James Bye) back in Walford, Jean was optimistic about the prospect of Stacey (Lacey Turner) returning home so that she could inform her about how close she’d grown to new pal Daniel. However, her world came crashing down when she discovered that Daniel had passed away.

Kush comforted Jean, and reminded her of how important it is for her to be able to say goodbye, and in tonight’s episode, the pair attended Daniel’s memorial service — a service which was about as quintessentially Daniel as one could’ve hoped for.

An emotional Jean mourned her pal, before exiting service and thanking Kush for coming along with her. However, atop the Prince Albert, Mike — aka Daniel’s neighbour who hosted the service — met with Daniel, who — spoiler alert — is very much alive!

As the pair discussed Daniel’s motivations behind his fake death, it came to light that he — who admittedly is falling for Jean — was fearful of Jean falling for him, as he doesn’t want her to have to see him through the final stages of his illness.

As the episode neared its conclusion, a tearful Jean sat on the park bench, and burst into tears.

Will Jean discover that Daniel is alive after all?

EastEnders continues Monday 14thOctober at 8pm on BBC One.

Lucy Fallon as Bethany Platt in Coronation Street
(Picture: ITV)

Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) is about to throw the cat majorly among the pigeons when she admits that she is falling in love with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) in Coronation Street – while he is preparing to say a final and agonising goodbye to his dying wife Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn).

Daniel and Bethany shared a moment not long ago when he encouraged her to write an article based on her sexual abuse ordeal and she was the person he turned to when the atmosphere became too much after Sinead learned her cancer was terminal.

With Sinead only having weeks to live, she and Daniel are struggling with the reality that she will soon be gone. Meanwhile, Bethany is distracting herself and asks James Bailey (Nathan Graham) about the politics of being a professional footballer, believing it will make for a good article.

James confronts Bethany in Coronation Street
(Picture: ITV)

However, her writing takes a different course when she struggles with writing a short story for her course, prompting Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) to step in and help her. As Bethany shows the result to James, he is impressed but he soon realises that it is actually a story about her own experiences and it contains an admission that she is in love with Daniel.

Bethany swears James to secrecy – and Daniel and Sinead have much bigger problems to deal with as Sinead becomes more and more ill, telling Beth (Lisa George) that she is finding even everyday tasks almost impossible.

Knowing that time is running out and that Sinead won’t be alive to see Christmas, Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) gets the family together and they make plans to celebrate Christmas early so that she can join in the festivities.

But as Daniel continues to struggle with losing Sinead, will he end up seeking solace with Bethany – and will her story come back to haunt her and cast an even darker shadow over Sinead’s already devastating situation?

Whitney Dean’s (Shona McGarty) has been enjoying a whirlwind romance in EastEnders with Leo King (Tom Wells) — but little does she know that he’s the son of paedophile Tony (Chris Coghill) who abused her a decade ago. However, the truth could be set to out in the coming episodes, as Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) becomes inquisitive about her stepsister’s new beau?

Whitney’s had something of a hellish year, after her engagement to Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway (Tony Clay) ended in disaster when she discovered that he’d slept with Ben (Max Bowden).

After learning this information, she refused to go ahead with the ceremony, and headed off on her honeymoon by herself, so that she could regroup and start anew.

However, upon her return, she made it clear that she has a new boyfriend in the form of Leo. However, she has no idea that the young lad is secretly Tony’s son, and that he’s simply targeting her so that he can get more info about his dad — who he refuses to believe is a paedophile in spite of the evidence to prove otherwise.

In the coming episodes, Leo asks Whitney out for a drink, but when Callum enters the cafe, she reconsiders and makes a hasty exit — something which no doubt puts a spanner in Leo’s plan. However, later in the week, she agrees to meet him in the Queen Vic for a drink.

Tiffany is eager to meet this mystery man, and Whitney allows her to do so — but Tiff is confused as she realises that she already knows him.

With Tiffany wondering what his motives are, Leo fears that his plans have been scuppered.

Is the truth about Leo’s true identity set to out?

Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) has been enjoying what little time he’s got left before going to prison with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) in Emmerdale, but in the coming episodes he’s left devastated once more when he learns that Lee has died — something which forces him and Aaron to make a huge decision about their future.

Upon learning that her rapist has died, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) heads round to inform Robert of the devastating news, as she knows that it will no doubt have a huge impact on the prison sentence he’s set to serve. After Victoria’s revelation, Robert is unable to process what he’s learned‚ knowing that this new development could mean he’ll be charged with murder.

Amid all of the confusion, Liv (Isobel Steele) suggests that Robert not only goes on the run, but that he takes Aaron with him. After some discussion, Robert and Aaron agree to do just that, but — upon coming to such a decision — they are hit by the reality of the situation, and what it means for their future.

They set off to bid farewell to their nearest and dearest, and Aaron reveals everything to Chas (Lucy Pargeter) — who’s understandably distraught at the prospect of losing her son.

On Robert and Aaron’s decision, Danny Miller said: ‘The goodbyes are rushed. You can see that Aaron and Robert almost don’t have time to take in the emotion due to the rush and panic. The police are essentially on their way, it’s all so quick, it’s a serious crime so he can’t be out on bail.’

‘They both say their individual goodbyes but I don’t think they realise this could be the final time they speak to people.’

The married couple bid adieu to their loved ones before driving off, ready to start their new adventure.

The question is: will they managed to evade the law?

Will Emmerdale's Cain murder Moira or Nate?
(Picture: ITV)

Ever since mysterious and sleazy farm hand Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) swaggered onto Butler’s Farm and made it clear that he was out to destroy Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), fans have been trying to figure out who he really is and what his motives are for trying to pick apart the hard man’s life.

Nate has wasted no time in getting under the skin of Cain’s wife Moira (Natalie J Robb), poisoning her against her marriage and embarking on a lust filled affair with her. He also spent time trying to persuade Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) to stand up to Cain with regards to seeing Kyle.

While Emmerdale has yet to officially confirm that there is more to Nate than meets the eye, star Sally Dexter, who plays Cain’s mum Faith, has revealed that the bombshell will rip the family apart and have huge and life changing consequences.

She told The Mirror at the recent Inside Soap Awards: ‘Yes, there is a very shocking twist with Nate’s identity and it has dire consequences for my son Cain, for Moira my daughter-in-law, and me.

We have to come through a heavy storm and some of us might not make it. It was some of the most harrowingly emotional scenes I’ve ever done.’

As a showdown explodes this October, Cain learns the horrifying truth – but will everyone survive his explosion of rage? Sally hinted that things might be bleak for more than one party and confirmed that she would be leaving the show. However, it remains to be seen whether this is temporary.

She told Metro.co.uk: ‘It’s going to be an explosive October. I may have to leave for a little while…’

Fans will watch Faith discover that Moira has been playing away from home – but she will suspect that it is actually Pete barton (Anthony Quinlan) who is her mystery man…

Tim Franklin plays Colby
Colby struggles in Irene’s trial (Picture: Seven)

Bella (Courtney Miller) and Colby (Tim Franklin) planned to go straight to court on the day of Irene’s (Lynne McGranger) trial, but Bella suffered a panic attack at the thought of reliving her assault from Tommy (Adam Sollis). She tells Colby that the trauma is too raw for her to talk about, let alone in front of a judge and jury, while Colby says that what Tommy did isn’t her fault.

Despite feeling unable to testify, Bella also worries about Irene if she isn’t there for her. What’s more, she’s worried about messing up her testimony, especially with everyone staring at her and thinking she’s stupid if she gets it wrong. However, Colby says that court is only for a few hours – and Tommy won’t be there, so she won’t have to face her attacker.

Eventually, the pair arrive at court, and Bella takes the stand. Leah (Ada Nicodemou) tells a panicked Colby that Tommy has shown up. Colby can’t tell Bella in time, so she sees him as she sits in front of the judge and jury…she falls silent and can’t take her eyes off him.

Bella begins her testimony, but struggles to answer the lawyer’s questions and begins to break down, finding it too hard to relive the traumatic memories of Tommy’s assault. Overcome with anger at what Tommy put his little sister through, Colby explodes. He’s restrained by security and thrown out of court while Bella cries.

Standing on the steps of the courthouse, Colby is humiliated for not controlling his anger. Meanwhile, the lawyer says that the court is adjourned for the day – so Bella will have to relive giving her testimony and facing Tommy tomorrow. When Colby finds out, he tries to tell her that he’ll make sure Bella won’t have to speak in front of Tommy. However, Bella turns on him, saying she doesn’t want him there tomorrow and he’s messed everything up. Colby is left devastated…

Mason and Dr Alex
Mason is being given a chance by Dr Alex (Picture: Seven)

Dr Alex (Zoe Ventoura) is settling into life in the Bay, and has already begun to make an impact on several of the residents. By opening up to Raffy (Olivia Deeble) about her own epilepsy, she’s managed to inspire the Morgan teen to get on top of her management of the condition.

But Raffy isn’t the only Morgan Alex has been spending time with. After signing up at the gym and getting to know Willow (Sarah Roberts), she has also crossed paths with Mason (Orpheus Pledger). His name gets mentioned again when Raffy opens up to Alex about her epilepsy following a severe seizure, saying she’s tried everything to keep them from happening.

When Alex suggests keeping a journal to identify symptoms, Raffy tells her that’s what Mason made her to do on their home CBD trial. Alex gets Raffy to backtrack when she hears this, forcing her to talk about how Mason ran an illegal medical trial, but the oil is the only thing which actually helped her.

Alex says that if she had things her way, CBD would be legal, and also wonders why Mason is working at Summer Bay Fit if he trained to be a doctor. Later, she checks in with Mason about Raffy, and asks about his internship plans. When he says he will be going to Western Australia as he wasn’t offered a place locally, Alex is left with a lot to consider.

After spending some time at the hospital, Alex returns to Mason and says she’s put in a good word for him at Northern Districts. She’s hoping to get him an interview so he can move him closer to home. Surprised and happy, Mason starts to see her in a new light…
