The two have been dating since 2018 apparently (Picture: Chelsea Halfpenny/Instagram)
Emmerdale’s Chelsea Halfpenny and former co-star James Baxter are in a relationship.
Chelsea, who played Amy Wyatt, have confirmed her relationship with James, who played Jake Doland, with an Instagram post of the two on Whitstable beach.
The actress captioned the photo: ‘Whitstable, you have been bloody LOVELY. @jamesbaxterrealtalk.’
Soap fans were quick to compliment the secretive pair on their relationship.
One fan wrote: ‘You two are the cutest’, one fan wrote and we couldn’t agree more.
‘Mannn, you two are actually perfect,’ another fan wrote.
In another selfie taken in Vienna, Chelsea wrote: ‘Pick a boyfriend that pretty much just looks exactly the same as you.’

The pair have appear to have been dating for around a year as Chelsea first uploaded a picture of him in October 2018.
And we didn’t know this whole time?!
Chelsea starred in Emmerdale for three years before leaving the popular soap in 2013 and getting replaced by Natalie Ann Jameson earlier this year.
She moved on to star in Casualty but left for the role in The 9 To 5 Musical in the West End.
James appeared in Emmerdale for two years and left in 2009 so the two never actually met on set.
Apparently Emmerdale has a wholesome version of the so-called Strictly Come Dancing curse with many of it’s cast members getting together.
Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle) and Zoe Henry (Rhona Goskirk) are married in real life.
Lauran Norton (Kerry Wyatt) and Mark Jordon (Daz Spencer) got engaged earlier this year.
That’s not all because Charley Webb (Debbie Dingle) and Matthew Wolfenden (David Metcalfe) are also married and have welcomed their third child.
We don’t know what’s happening on the Emmerdale set but we’ll have what they’re having.
The BBC have taken action and removed a week’s worth of EastEnders episodes which were leaked online before they aired, leaving fans dismayed to have plot details revealed. Viewers discovered that all four episodes for next week had surfaced online, featuring major storylines including the return of Martin Fowler (James Bye) and developments in the storyline of Adrian Edmondson’s character Daniel Cook.
Links were shared on social media, leaving most fans annoyed to have had some content ruined – while others were exclaiming their surprise that such a leak would happen. However, after being alerted to the leak, the BBC were quick to take action and remove the episodes, meaning the spoilers are hopefully minimal for those not actively seeking them out.
As the episodes were not up for long, many fans won’t have had the plot details ruined – and we aren’t going to reveal anything beyond the usual embargoes here.
A spokesperson for the soap told Metro.co.uk: ‘As soon as we became aware of the unauthorised publication, we took immediate action to remove them. We are investigating to prevent this happening again.’
It is unknown whether the leak was a deliberate breach or a mistake at this stage.
Viewers have been enjoying watching the drama in Walford unfold over recent weeks and major events such as the siege, Callum Highway (Tony Clay) publicly coming out and kissing Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) and Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) being targeted by Leo King (Tom Wells) have played out without major spoilers.
The show is up for several awards at tomorrow night’s Inside Soap Awards, with many proclaiming that the show is on top form right now as it moves into the crucial autumn and winter storylines.
And major twists such as the exit of Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) and the reveal of Sharon Mitchell’s (Letitia Dean) pregnancy by Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) remain to be played out.
For top enjoyment of them, our only advice would be not to go looking for any leaks – there are some blockbuster storylines ahead that will be best enjoyed watched live with fellow fans.
Irene is anxious about the court case (Picture: Channel 5)
Irene’s (Lynne McGranger) anxiety has been mounting ahead of her looming court case against Tommy (Adam Sollis). The situation is helped by Bella (Courtney Miller) agreeing to testify, especially when she hears from her lawyer that Bella is well prepared and the jury will understand why Irene felt the need to protect her.
The positive news leads to Leah (Ada Nicodemou) and Roo (Georgie Parker) being relieved for Irene, and Roo encourages Irene to read some of the supportive comments on Leah’s vlog. But this backfires when Irene reads nastier feedback, which condemns her for what she did to Tommy.
The comments go further, quoting details from her past such as her troubles with alcohol and brushes with the law. Irene realises a reporter has dug up some dirt on her, and her fears grow for the court case. Surely the jury will see the comments before the trial and hold her history against her?
Irene is shaken by online comments (Picture: Channel 5)
Leah and Roo manage to talk her down and tell her to trust in the legal system, but Irene only pretends to be reassured. Leah suspects Irene is covering up her real feelings, but leaves her to work through them.
Later, Irene tells Marilyn (Emily Symons) she can go home and she’ll stay behind to lock up the Diner. In fact, she’ll even do some deep cleaning. Marilyn happily heads out to Salt with John (Shane Withington), while a shaky Irene waves her off.
However, as Irene finishes closing up the Diner, she writes a goodbye letter to Leah. Unable to face the possibility of going to jail, she makes plans to run away from the Bay…
Last we saw Martin Fowler (James Bye) in EastEnders he was getting into a black cab after wife Stacey (Lacey Turner) left Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) for dead, but — following daughter Bex’s (Jasmine Armfield) suicide attempt — he returns to the Square in the coming episodes.
Sonia gets the shock of her life when she enters Bex’s room at the hospital to discover Martin standing by her bedside. As a result, she wastes little time in giving him a piece of her mind in regards to his absence during a time when his daughter needed him the most.
(Picture: BBC)
Of course, Sonia has no idea of what’s transpired with the Mitchells — which is the very reason Martin left Walford in the first place — so the nurse’s harsh words put him in a bit of a predicament as he cannot reveal the truth.
Later, Kush (Davood Ghadami) argues that Martin leaving the Square once again would be in everyone’s best interests, as he can’t risk being seen by Ben (Max Bowden). However, upon learning that her ex-husband is planning to depart once more, Sonia urges him to stay put for their daughter’s sake.
Feeling guilty, Martin returns to the Square with Bex in tow, and — after a heart-to-heart between the father and daughter — he ultimately agrees to stay.
However Ben laters spies him from across the Square. As a result, Martin confronts the Mitchell lad and pleads with him to let Stacey come home.
What will Ben have to say?
Ben loves having a bit of leverage on others, that’s for sure, but given that he’s been through so much since Martin was last in Albert Square, perhaps he’ll see things in a whole new light?

David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) isn’t having it easy in Coronation Street as of late, what with him currently serving time in prison, but things are set to get much worse for the young man when he comes face-to-face with his rapist Josh Tucker (Ryan Clayton) in upcoming episodes.
David’s world came crashing down last year when he was raped by supposed best mate, Josh. The ordeal left him devastated, but — with Shona’s (Julia Goulding) help — he was able to come to terms with everything that happened.
Although the police were unable to charge Josh for what he did, David was ultimately able to move on once he ensured that his rapist never returned to the Street.
Since then, he has tried to get his life back on track, and although his relationship with Shona has went from strength to strength, he’s ended up having to serve some time in prison.
Matters are set to get much worse for him in the coming episodes, as Coronation Street has revealed that David will come face-to-face with Josh while incarcerated.
After a tough day, David heads to the medical wing of the prison for his medication, and he’s devastated when he spots Josh — who appears to have been beaten up — awaiting medical treatment.
What will transpire?
Coronation Street continues on Monday 7th October at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) has been developing feelings for Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) in Coronation Street — something which she has kept to herself thus far — but she’s about to reveal that secret in the coming episodes.
Several weeks back, Bethany opened up to Daniel and admitted that she wanted to write about her grooming ordeal in the hopes that it would help others going through something similar to speak out. After she proceeded to do so, she asked Daniel if he wouldn’t mind reading the piece for her — a request which left him rather flattered.
The experience certainly brought the two co-workers closer together, and they shared something of a moment — although neither have acted on their feelings to date.
However, it’s clear that Bethany is starting to fall for Daniel, and Coronation Street have revealed that — in the coming episodes — she will share all with James (Nathan Graham).
Convinced that his experiences would make for a great article, Bethany quizzes James about the politics of being a professional footballer.
Afterwards, she decides to share her short story with him — and it doesn’t take him long to work out that the story is about her own experiences. In addition to that, it’s also pretty clear that the story is about her love for Daniel.
The question is: how will James react?
What will he have to say?
Coronation Street continues on Monday 7th October at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
Coronation Street has confirmed that Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) will soon discover the shocking truth about cheating Robert Preston’s (Tristan Gemmill) double life – as she witnesses him having a heated argument with his pregnant fiancee Vicky Jeffries (Kerri Quinn).
Knowing that the man who has promised to marry her is up to no good, she watches him from afar with Carla (Alison King) as they witness him rowing in the Street with Vicky, who seems to now know that he has betrayed her too.
(Picture: Zenpix/Paul Cousans)
It was clear that Robert was never going to get away with his double life forever as both Tristan and Kym are leaving the soap – and the chances of them heading off into the sunset together as a happy couple seem to be dashed as Michelle discovers what he has done.
But as she sits with Carla and digests the extent of Robert’s twisted web, how will she react to him – and will she make him pay?
(Picture: Paul Cousans/Zenpix)
Kerri recently suggested to Metro.co.uk that she would like to see Vicky and Michelle team up to bring Robert down, given that both women have been wronged by him. She said: ‘Vicky and Michelle are both quite strong fiery women, I would be terrified if I was Robert, but I would also be really sorry for him – just come clean! Vicky’s pregnant so I suppose killing each other’s not really an option but we still don’t know!
(Picture: Paul Cousans/Zenpix Ltd)
‘We’re hearing stories but nothing set in stone, so I don’t know how it’s going to play out but I’m sure they will eventually find out about each other. It would be lovely if they were to team up.’
She added: ‘I think you get the impression that Vicky’s had it tough, she’s been flying solo for a bit and you find that Jed left her for someone else, so I think if she has sniff of that, she would be on that and I think she’d do the right thing by Michelle. That’s my take. I don’t think it should be that the two of them are ripping each others’ heads off.
‘I think it’s more interesting to see a common ground and that would work better for my character because then you will see a different side of Vicky if she is trying to do the right thing.’
Judging by Vicky’s explosion of rage and the dark look in Michelle’s eyes as she witnesses Robert’s betrayal first hand, we think it’s fair to assume that he is in for a well deserved rough ride.
Just when we thought things couldn’t get messier in Emmerdale, Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) has been left for dead while trying to stop Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) from going to the police about the fire which killed her dad Frank – and now Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) is about to issue a surprising and dangerous threat.
With Tracy and her sister Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) reeling at Kerry and Amy’s duplicity in covering up the fire, their sense of horror and betrayal has been overshadowed by Tracy’s fear that she might have accidentally killed Kerry.
While Tracy didn’t intend to hurt Kerry, she gave her a shove which caused her to land in an unfortunately placed pile of rocks. And at the end of last week, Amy feared that she would lose her mum for good.
While it’s pretty difficult for Amy to take the moral high ground in a situation that was triggered by theft and accidental death followed by a web of lies, her fear for Kerry leads her to lash out and warn Tracy that she could go to the police over this.
(Picture: ITV)
Of course, Tracy has plenty of ammunition herself to hit back with – so it’s not looking like a particularly pleasant outcome for anyone. With the three women having all accidentally caused serious injury – and in some cases worse – they clearly have the worst possible luck. And if Kerry dies, it can only get even more bleak.
As Amy and Tracy have a stand off, it will eventually trigger Vanessa to remind Amy about how all of this has come about. Aghast at Amy’s audacity to make threats after what she and Kerry did, Vanessa will lash out at her – and accidentally hit a nurse in the process? See what we mean about that terrible luck?
As Vanessa ends up in a cell, she might not be the only one in coming weeks if anyone follows through on their threats.
Speaking about the drama recently, Natalie Ann told Metro.co.uk: ‘I’ll be really interested to see the audience reaction to this and how it changes things – I think it will be really mixed, to be honest. Here we have another situation where someone has acted and not meant to hurt anyone but now it’s gone too far. And it leaves both Amy and Tracy in big dilemmas and a lot to think about in terms of where they go from here.
‘Kerry is really badly hurt and it’s touch and so obviously now, there’s not just the secret about the fire in the mix. Everyone here has made serious mistakes, and everyone could end up paying for them in some way. It’ll be good to see how the audience takes to it because it could go a number of ways from here.’
Kym and Scott have now been dating for over a year (Picture: @marsh_kym/Instagram)
Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh is set to take a break from the soap soon and peruse other acting opportunities, but the star has opened up about how she wishes she was a bit busier at the moment, to take her mind off her other half Scott Ratcliffe, who is currently out of the country on deployment with the military.
Writing in her weekly column for OK! Kym revealed: ‘I’m very quiet at work and that’s a shame as I’d rather be busy to take my mind off missing him.’
But who is Scott Ratcliffe and where is he at the moment?
Who is Kym Marsh’s boyfriend Scott Ratcliffe?
Kym Marsh’s boyfriend, Scott, is 32-years-old and a major in the Parachute Regiment.
Kym and Scott were introduced by the star’s celebrity pal Antony Cotton and got to know each other via FaceTime and texting before they agreed to meet for their first date.

Kym revealed to Fabulous magazine that she is in love with Scott, who she has now been dating for over a year: ‘He has a smile that has the ability to light up any room. He’s got a lovely aura about him. People want to be around him,’ she said, ‘And I love that he’s not got any idea how fit he is.’
Scott is sometimes based in South England (Picture: Jeff Spicer/Getty Images)
‘There may not be an actual war threat currently but there’s always a risk when you’re in these dangerous places.
‘It won’t be easy watching him go away, and I will worry until I see him again.’
Before his deployment, Kym planned a series of surprises and fun days out for Scott to make the most of their time together before he had to leave the UK.
‘Surprise party for my man before he deploys. He makes me proud every single day,’ Kym wrote. (Picture: @marsh_kym/Instagram)
Marking their final moments together before Scott had to leave, Kym posted a tribute to him on social media saying: ‘Make sure the ones you love the most know how you feel. Hold them tight, keep them in your hearts and never take them for granted,’ alongside a picture of her holding hands with her partner.
Now Kym will be trying to take her mind off missing her man by throwing herself into work projects and spending time with her family.
Kym’s daughter Emily and her son David were born while the actress was dating builder Dave Cunliffe, before she found fame on the reality TV show Popstars in 2000. Following her split from Dave, the star went on to marry EastEnders actor Jack Ryder in 2002, but she admitted to cheating on him with actor Jamie Lomas in March 2009 and the couple were granted a quick divorce.

Jamie and Kym announced they were expecting a baby in 2009, a year after they started dating, but sadly their son Archie Jay Lomas was born 18 weeks early and died moments after birth.
The couple welcomed a baby girl, Polly, in March 2011 and Kym tied the knot again in 2012 with Jamie, however they filed for divorce a year later.

It looked like Kym was set to walk down the aisle for a third time back in 2014, when it was revealed that she was engaged to her then-boyfriend Dan Hooper after eight months of dating, but the actress broke off the engagement in May 2015.
‘I’m a huge romantic but I’ve been unlucky in love,’ Kym told The Sun earlier this year.
‘My mum and dad have been together since my mum was 18 and the problem with that is that me and my sister are always looking for my dad. And he doesn’t exist because, well, Dad’s Dad!
‘I have had two divorces and I know I sound like Ross from Friends, but it’s never deterred me from believing that there is someone out there for me.’
Kym admitted she’s worried about Scott’s safety when he is deployed (Picture: @marsh_kym/Instagram)
Despite finding love again with Scott, Kym admitted that she’s learnt that love is ‘no fairytale’ and is ‘hard work’.
Harlow’s life hangs in the balance thanks to Hendrix (Picture: Channel 5)
Hendix (Benny Turland) has been acting out ever since he arrived in Neighbours, all to get the attention of his dad Pierce (Tim Robards). But his childish attention seeking could prove fatal for innocent bystander Harlow (Jemma Donovan).
Hendrix has proven a pain in his dad’s neck since he arrived in town, testing Pierce’s parenting skills to the limit. Hendrix is managing to run rings around him as he’s so out of practice at playing Dad. But his bad boy actions could have huge consequences for Harlow.
Susan (Jackie Woodburne) realises Pierce isn’t coping with the pressures of fatherhood and arranges a favour with Toadie (Ryan Moloney). Pierce pops over to the Rebecchi house to discuss some business but he’s shocked when Gary (Damien Richardson) arrives with pies and the two men ask him to hang out.
Pierce is embarrassed when he thinks that Susan has told them he’s a bad dad, but he soon realises that they just want to talk to him because they used to be the Hendrix’s of their families, and yet they eventually turned out to be good. As he listens to how to deal with his own bad lad son, Pierce thinks he’s hit on a breakthrough.
But he’s counting his chickens before they’ve hatched. After the chat, Pierce wants to put things into practice and takes Hendrix to the Waterhole cellar to show him the wine he produces – revealing that his son will one day inherit his business. Hendrix is thrown, he never imagined his dad would have faith in him, and they begin to bond.
Hendrix’s bad behaviour endangers Harlow (Picture: Channel 5)
But when Hendrix finds himself ditched by Pierce when Chloe calls, he turns resentful and his reaction proves dangerous. He lashes out by stealing his dad’s car for a joy ride. He’s angry and not thinking straight, most definitely shouldn’t be behind the wheel. He quickly loses control and careens through a Lassiters’ event full of people, crashing through a marquee and knocking it down.
But he’s not just caused a load of damage – Roxy is horrified to discover Harlow is trapped underneath. Has his knee-jerk reaction left Harlow badly injured, or even worse?!
Scenes air from Monday 14th October at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
Hollyoaks has secured another major victory, netting the three biggest prizes in the Inside Soap Awards 2019 – just months after it landed the Best Soap prize at the British Soap Awards. But the other soaps have reason to celebrate, with EastEnders and Emmerdale winning the highest quantity of prizes and Coronation Street, Neighbours, Holby City and Casualty also taking home gongs.
It’s the first time in the history of the soap magazine that Hollyoaks has won the Best Soap prize, a testament to a huge year of the soap which has seen the hard hitting far right extremism storyline, the devastating ending for Lily McQueen and the footballer abuse storyline.
Stephanie Davis (Sinead O’Connor) and Adam Woodward (Brody Hudson) were named Best Actress and Best Actor for their parts in storylines focusing on sexual abuse. It’s a strong time for Hollyoaks, which recently made an array of announcements ahead of its anniversary celebrations including the returns of Jamie Lomas and James Sutton as well a new episode of Hollyoaks Later and a dramatic New Year flash forward story.
Elsewhere, recent first look episodes which saw a bomb go off as part of the radicalisation storyline achieved E4’s best ratings of the year for the soap. We reckon that with all of this to celebrate, there will be some sore heads but wide smiles chez Hollyoaks tomorrow.
EastEnders has continued its resurgence with four awards, including a board sweep in the comedy stakes despite being known as a gritty and dark programme. Danny Dyer (Mick Carter) and Lorraine Stanley (Karen Taylor) are Funniest Male and Female while Max Bowden has silenced the initial Ben Mitchell recast doubters with an award for Best Bad Boy.
The ever popular child performer Kara Leah Fernandes (Bailey Baker) was still representing Walford as she took home another Best Young Actor trophy.
With Emmerdale also taking home an impressive four prizes, it was a great night for ITV too. Jane Cox’s heartbreaking death as Lisa Dingle won Best Exit while the Maya Stepney story proved to have engaged viewers with Louisa Clein winning Best Bad Girl and the episodes which saw her exposed winning Best Shock Twist.
Meanwhile, much loved duo Lucy Pargeter and Dominic Brunt were the Best Partnership as Chas Dingle and Paddy Kirk.

Corrie will air the scenes when Michelle discovers Robert’s betrayal in the winter, but does the revelation mean that Kym’s character could soon be making a hasty retreat from the Cobbles?
The star revealed earlier this year that she would be bidding goodbye to Weatherfield – if only for the time being – to take a well-earned break from the ITV show.
‘When I was lucky enough to be offered four episodes I could never in my wildest dreams have thought I’d be here 13 years later,’ Kym told The Sun.
‘It’s been an incredibly difficult decision but it feels like the right time for me to explore some other roles.’
Kym is taking on a festive role after leaving the Cobbles (Picture: Elf: The Christmas Spectacular)
An air date for the new BBC show hasn’t been announced yet, but it will aim to expose criminals behind scams conning online daters and will run for a week.
The exact date of Kym’s departure from the Cobbles and her exit storyline haven’t been confirmed yet, but despite the fact that Tristan Gemmil is also leaving Corrie, it’s highly unlikely that their characters Michelle and Robert will be leaving Weatherfield together.
As Kym is still filming scenes for Corrie at the moment, her character won’t leave the soap for at least another three months, as TV shows like Coronation Street tend to film their storylines roughly three months in advance.
However, in coming episodes, we will see Martin make a surprise return to the show following his daughter Bex’s (Jasmine Armfield) suicide attempt. Even though Martin is putting himself at risk of being confronted by Ben (Max Bowden) in the wake of the attack on Phil Mitchell, he resolves to stay in Albert Square for Bex’s sake.
So, with Martin now back in Blighty, that begs the question: where is Stacey?
Where is Stacey in EastEnders?
Actress Lacey Turner has indeed left EastEnders – but only temporarily.
This week, viewers will see Martin lash out at Ben, trying to persuade him to let Stacey (who is currently still on the run in an unknown location) come home. Unfortunately for Martin – and fans of Lacey – Stacey Fowler won’t be returning to our screens full time for a little while yet, as the actress is currently on maternity leave.
Although Lacey is not back from maternity leave permanently and will be taking more time off, it is understood that she will appear in one episode before she makes a full-time return at some point later next year.
Stacey’s motivation to return to the Square after being on the run is still a secret but with her mum Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) undergoing chemotherapy and her son Arthur still living in Walford, the mum-of-three has plenty of reasons to come back and face her demons – and Phil.
We’ll have to wait until November – when her scenes are set to air – to find out and see what Stacey is up to.
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays on BBC One at 8pm and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm.
Emmerdale star Sally Dexter has confirmed that she is leaving the soap in an upcoming storyline – talk about Faith No More! The popular actress has been a hit with fans since her arrival, providing warmth and uproarous humour but we will soon be saying goodbye.
Still, we have to have a little bit of Faith as she assured us that she would eventually be back. The star’s announcement comes in the wake of exits for Ryan Hawley as Robert Sugden, Anthony Quinlan as Pete Barton and Samantha Giles as Bernice Blackstock.
Speaking on the red carpet of the Inside Soap Awards, Sally exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘Well, there’s a lot of fallout from the Moira, Cain, Nate debacle, I am probably going to be collateral.
‘It’s going to be an explosive October. I may have to leave for a little while.’
Asked whether she could tell us more, Sally continued: ‘You’ll have to watch the show. I ain’t gonna say nothing!’
It seems like the door will be left open though, as Sally teased: ‘Oh, how could I stay away from my fabulous Dingle family for too long?
Sally Dexter has revealed she’s leaving Emmerdale (Picture: WireImage)
‘We shall see how it goes. It’s been a wonderful, wonderful experience.’
Faith has been at the centre of some major storylines over the last year, including pushing the notorious Kim Tate (Claire King) from a balcony at Home Farm and sharing a kiss with Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) and Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) – both of which caused serious controversy.
(Picture: ITV)
And before she goes, she will find herself at the heart of drama once more as she is caught up in the storyline which sees Cain (Jeff Hordley) discover that his wife Moira (Natalie J Robb) has been cheating on him with Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).
Emmerdale had a successful night at the awards, pulling in prizes for Best Exit (Lisa Dingle), Best Shock Twist (The Big Night Out), Best Bad Girl (Louisa Clein as Maya Stepney) and Best Partnership (Lucy Pargeter and Dominic Brunt as Chas Dingle and Paddy Kirk)
EastEnders star Max Bowden has revealed that this winter is going to be one hell of a ride for Ben Mitchell – starting with a mighty war with the Panesar brothers and ending with an unforgettable Christmas alongside his boyfriend Callum Highway (Tony Clay). Yes, we are living for it.
Named the Best Bad Boy at the recent Inside Soap Awards, Ben will be in the midst of a feud with the Panesars and will also drag Martin Fowler (James Bye) into the mess – with catastrophic results. But along the way, Ballum will continue to thrive much to the joy of fans as Max confirmed that the couple are still very much a ‘thing’ by Christmas time.
Is it too much to ask for them to be wearing matching jumpers or are we getting a little too fanfic here?

Speaking about the Christmas events ahead, Max exclusively teased to Metro.co.uk that the couple will be enjoying the festivities in each other’s company.
‘I would imagine so, yes,’ he said in response to being asked whether they’ll be celebrating together.
Sounds like our kind of EastEnders Christmas! But before all of that, Ben has the Panesars and Martin to contend with – and there will be intense scenes.
Max added: ‘The Panesars have come in now, so that drama there is definitely going to unfold. They’re brave, they’re boisterous, they’re going to give Ben a run for his money.’
He continued: ‘With Ben, it’s 100 miles per hour all the time. At the moment, things are starting to take off again, things are nice with Ballum.
‘Martin’s just come back to the Square which is leverage for Ben to create this whole new drama.’
EastEnders swept up three other prizes from Inside Soap, including two comedy prizes for Danny Dyer (Mick Carter) and Lorraine Stanley (Karen Taylor) as well as a Best Young Performer for Kara Leah Fernandes (Bailey Baker).
This is the terrifying moment which sees Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) kidnapped as Ben Mitchell’s (Max Bowden) war with the Panesar brothers drags her into the crossfire in EastEnders. As Ben is left terrified for her safety, he insists to Martin Fowler (James Bye) that he helps him save Lola – and get revenge.
It’s clear to all that Ben is not ready to back down in his battle with Kheerat (Jaz Deal) and Jags (Amar Adatia) but perhaps he has underestimated them as they aim to hit him where it hurts. As Jags bundles Lola into the back of a van, she screams for help and Ben knows things are about to get extremely serious.
Due to the fact that Ben has Martin just where he wants him, Martin is forced into the situation too as Ben insists on him helping with his criminal plans against the brothers. But will this just anger the Panesars more and will Martin regret becoming involved?

It remains to be seen what happens to Lola and how Ben will repay his new enemies for them crossing a line with him but this is just the next step in a long running feud. Meanwhile, Martin realises he is trapped as Ben reminds him of everything he has on him – not only does he have evidence that Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) attacked Phil (Steve McFadden) but now Martin is almost as deep as him in the crime war with the Panesars.
Kheerat will make it clear to Ben that they won’t stop at kidnapping Lola either as a chilling threat puts Lexi in the firing line. As Max finds himself becoming even more defensive, he warns them not to lay another finger on his family.
But will they heed his warning? And just who will come out on top as the Panesars make themselves comfortable in Albert Square and plot to take down the Mitchells?
EastEnders airs Lola’s kidnap on Tuesday 8th October at 7:30pm on BBC One.

David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is about to come face to face with his rapist Josh Tucker (Ryan Clayton) in prison and a showdown will inevitably follow. But when David realises that the Coronation Street villain has been jailed for a further sexual assault, will he snap and take a violent revenge? Could he go as far as killing his enemy?
After police didn’t feel they had sufficient evidence to charge Josh for his attack on David, he ended up taking the law into his own hands and driving him out of town. But it appears that Josh has gone on to strike again as David is stunned to see him in the same prison he is being held in.
Heading to the medical wing to pick up his medication, David is horrified to see Josh being treated and briefly locks eyes with him beofre retreating back to his cell, his mind racing. Abe reveals to David that Josh is inside for drugging and raping someone and the memories of his ordeal return, along with the anger and injustice.
David tells Abe that Josh did exactly the same to him but will Abe encourage him to take revenge? It has previously been reported that David may take the opportunity when Josh is stabbed during a prison riot.
But is David really capable of taking such a violent action and risking his entire future and family life? Or is someone else responsible for the attack?
It’s not the only thing that is getting to David in coming episodes either as Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) is forced to admit to him that Callum Logan’s mum Marion is fighting for custody of Max.
Max has been spending time getting to know Marion and, after a showdown with Shona, the gran launches legal proceedings.
With the prospect of losing Max, will this make David more likely to lash out at Josh?

Tiffany and Keegan have a big announcement to make (Picture: BBC)
Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) has had an incredibly tough year in EastEnders, but the one good thing that’s managed to come out of the hellish twelve months has been her burgeoning romance with Keegan Baker (Zack Morris). Against all odds, the teenagers made their relationship work and, in the coming episodes, they discuss the future of said relationship, before making an announcement to their friends and family.
After getting in with the local drug pushers last year, Tiffany found herself at the beck and call of smooth-talking ring leader, Evie Steele (Sophia Capasso). With help from her uncle Jack (Scott Maslen), she was able to get out of the dangerous circle and move on — although she later revealed to that Fraser (Shanu Hazzan) had raped her prior to her extraction from the gang.
The following months saw her develop feelings for Keegan — feelings which the young lad clearly reciprocated — and, before long, they decided to make a proper go of things. Due to the strength of this relationship, Tiffany has found herself happy once more, and she was even able to open up to Keegan about what Fraser did to her.
With Tiff studying at college and Keegan determined to make a go of his business, they currently have the whole world at their feet and, in the coming episodes, they discuss their future together, and all that it might hold.
Later in the week, Tiffany and Keegan inform their families that they’ve got an announcement to make — something which leaves Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) and the entire Taylor clan incredibly intrigued.
The question is: just what is it that the teenagers have to reveal?
