Things are about to get messy in Hollyoaks when Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor) and Finn O’Connor (Keith Rice) come face to face and Sinead O’Connor (Stephanie Davis) is mentioned.
Deluded rapist Laurie is still hopeful he will be reunited with his wife after she visits him in prison but when he is transported in the same prison van as Finn, things take a turn for the worst as the men begin to chat and when Finn admits his crimes, he convinces Laurie to do the same.
Laurie mentions Sinead’s name and it dawns on Finn that he’s her abusive husband and then things kick off as Finn lunges as his brother-in-law.
In what are set to be really intense scenes, the van crashes, allowing Laurie to escape and seek revenge on Sinead – will he manage to find her?
Speaking about the upcoming storyline, actor Keith Rice said: ‘When he sees Laurie in the back of the police van and Laurie speaks, Finn sees himself.
‘The coward who couldn’t admit that he was wrong, the selfish and ill-natured person and it’s interesting to see how this plays out.
Finn lunges at Laurie (Picture: E4)
‘I think Finn would have felt the whole spectrum of feelings. From shock, to guilt to anger… you name it he would have felt it.’
Laurie put Sinead through an ordeal throughout their marriage, but things escalated to new lows when raped her in a sickening act of revenge earlier this year.
Now that he’s escaped, could Sinead be in danger?
Rice explained Finn’s reason for attacking Laurie is because he sees the person he used to be.
‘Finn attacks Laurie as he sees Laurie as himself. The boy he used to be. Laurie in every sense reminds Finn of what he done, from the second he gets in the van.
‘The way he walked, the way he speaks, even down to the realisation that he committed the same crime as Finn did, but this time it was on his sister.’
Hollyoaks continues tomorrow at 6pm on E4.

Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) has been in many a dangerous situation – mostly due to her marriage to serial killer Pat Phelan. But it seems that bad luck really can continually strike as she ends up fearing she will die again in intense Coronation Street scenes which show her confronting Jan Losinski (Piotr Baumann) over his involvement in a human trafficking and slavery ring.
After Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) is on the cusp of revealing the truth about what is going on, he is brutally attacked by Nikolai on leader Rachel’s orders. Jan rushes an unconscious Seb to hospital and rops him at the entrance and as Eileen, along with Abi (Sally Carman), rush to see him, Eileen can’t shake off her doubts over Jan.
Jan lies to her that he is working in Birmingham but Eileen is savvier these days after being lied to by sinister men far too often. Following her gut instinct, she heads to the salon where she sees Jan helping Rachel and Nikolai empty the premises into the back of a van.
Eileen confronts Jan and he admits that he is a liar and cheat before declaring that he never cared for her, leaving her shattered. Things then get intense as violence follows and Nikolai smashes her phone but just as things are getting out of hand, the police swoop in and burst into the salon, arresting everyone inside.
However, as Eileen reels from the fact she was taken in by Jan and that he had been operating under such a sinister and deplorable slavery ring, she might not be out of the woods yet. If Rachel manages to manipulate the situation and Jan ends up out on bail, will he seek revenge on Eileen and Seb for exposing the truth?
Could their lives still be in serious danger?

The 30-year-old actor was joined by co-stars Kieron Richardson (who plays Ste Hay) and Rishi Nair (Sami Maalik) on Good Morning Britain, where they discussed how the show’s current storyline around extremist groups had affected their everyday lives.
Asked by hosts Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins if they’ve received verbal abuse over the role, Ray said: ‘I’ve had a couple of times where people in the street have said.
‘I was in a coffee shop one time and I was asking for a coffee and the lady said, “Oh don’t serve him he’s racist.” And I had to sort of elaborate on the story to tell the geezer who was serving me, “I’m not, I’m playing in Hollyoaks!”
Ray Quinn plays the manipulative Jonny Baxter in Hollyoaks (Picture: E4)
‘I had to reassure him and he was like, “Sorry mate, don’t watch it.”’
He added: ‘As an actor, it’s more of a challenge for anyone to be in such a storyline like this, but the challenge to be the nasty guy, for me playing Jonny, there’s so much more choice as far as acting is concerned. Tackling the storyline that’s very challenging, very controversial.’
Rishi also explained how he’d suffered racism in the past, with the actor utilising the affect it’s had on him for the role.
Kieron Richardson, Ray Quinn and Rishi Nair on Good Morning Britain (Picture: ITV)
‘Luckily I grew up in London where I haven’t had a lot of racism, having said that growing up as a brown person in this country I have,’ Rishi said.
‘Mostly when I was younger growing up in London and on the football pitch mainly. Sunday league football. So when I started this, I could kind of use that… when you start experiencing racism as a kid, it’s that thing where when someone says something to you on the street, you second guess yourself like, “did that happen? Maybe I’m overthinking it and it’s not happening.”’
Teasing what’s to come for the storyline, Kieron said: ‘The story is continuing and there’s a big climax in September. He’s deep in the far-right now and it’s about how he gets out of that.’
You can catch Good Morning Britain weekdays on ITV at 6am.
So how exactly did Frank die, and who’s to blame for his untimely demise?
How did Frank Clayton die in Emmerdale?
Last night, a devastating fire took hold at the sweet factory, and it put Tracy in danger as she was trapped in the building.
Frank was able to get his daughter out alive, but he ended up getting caught in an explosion that claimed his life.
The horryfing blaze was accidentally set by Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) and her daughter Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson)
Kerry and Amy started the fire right after they raided the safe at the factory – a crime that Kerry had previously claimed would be ‘victimless’.
However the pair noticed that the robbery was being caught on CCTV, and when they tried to destroy the footage, they carelessly left wires exposed, which sparked and set the building on fire.
Will Kerry and Amy be able to live with the guilt of what they’ve done?
Could one or both of them end up going to prison for it?
Lacey Turner and husband Matt Kay are currently enjoying new parenthood – but what does this mean for Lacey Turner’s EastEnders character Stacey Fowler? (Picture: Lacey Turner/Instagram; BBC)
Lacey is now enjoying the summer on maternity leave, although her Walford character Stacey is still on screen.
It’s not clear when Stacey will make her exit, to make way for Lacey’s maternity leave, but one question on fans’ lips is..
Is Stacey Fowler leaving EastEnders for good?
Soap stars often take time out for maternity leave, returning to the soap after they’ve had a few months off with their new arrivals. However, maternity leave can also pave the way for dramatic storylines which could see key characters written out of the soap for good.
She was spotted earlier this week getting to grips with motherhood as she took Dusty Violet on a walk.
Lacey and Matt, who married in 2017, spoke to OK! magazine last month, revealing how they chose her unusual moniker. Lacey said: ‘It wasn’t on our original list but we did an internet search for “pretty girls names” and we both said it at the same time!
‘Her middle name is Violet, which I also love. We’ve had mixed reactions, people either think it’s really cool or they don’t really know what to say!’
Amy and Kerry Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson and Laura Norton) have realised that they are responsible for the death of Frank Clayton (Michael Praed) after he was caught in the blast at the sweet factory. Amy and Kerry had entered the building in order to swipe the charity money to pay off Amy’s debt but little did they know that in destroying the CCTV equipment, they caused a fire.
Frank headed to the factory and saved his trapped daughter Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) as the fire got out of hand but he was unable to escape himself as it exploded. As the dust settles on the harrowing events, Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) wants answers while Rish (Bhasker Patel) comes under suspicion due to the financial straits of the company.
Others are suspecting that Frank got himself caught up in the blaze as he may have been after the charity money himself – but as they realise that their actions caused Frank’s death, will a guilty Amy and Kerry speak up and clear a dead man’s name? It looks like they are going to do the unthinkable and keep schtum.
Laura Norton told Metro.co.uk: ‘No matter how tough-skinned anybody is, or what sort of trouble anybody’s been in before – it’s awful to think you might be responsible for something like that. And there’s all sorts of ways to go about dealing with it. There’s denial. There’s wanting to admit it and do the right thing. You’re up. You’re down. You don’t sleep. So yeah, I think the consequences are huge.’
Natalie continued: ‘They’re both going through it, and they’ve kind of got each other, but it’s so tense that they kind of doing have each other either. They’re both dealing with it differently, so, although they’ve got each other and can share with each other what’s going on, they both have very different ideas about how to go about doing with it – because Kerry and Amy can be so different. Whatever one thinks is the sensible thing to do, the other one would definitely think the opposite.’
But how long can they keep their cool under pressure?
EastEnders has aired dramatic exit scenes for Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) as the popular character has left Walford after leaving Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to die in a violent attack. Stacey lashed out at Phil with a wrench as he strangled Martin (James Bye) in a frenzied rage.
After Phil was left out cold in the pit of the Arches, Ben (Max Bowden) intervened, armed with a gun, and banished the Slaters. He then made every effort to frame Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) for the crime. With Phil now in an induced coma and the Mitchells being warned that even if he does survive, he may not be the same Phil that they know, Stacey is traumatised by what she has done.
With she and Martin considering that they have no option but to disappear while everything plays out in their absence, Stacey made a last minute decision to leave Arthur behind with Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) before she and Martin left. The scenes are facilitating the maternity leave of Lacey, who recently gave birth to her daughter Dusty.
Martin will also be off screen for a while but Metro.co.uk understands that James will be back before the end of Lacey’s maternity leave.
Back on the Square, things are looking messy for Keanu thanks to scheming Ben’s efforts. As Ben plays the worried, doting son, will he manage to get Keanu knocked out of the will and himself put in Keanu’s place? And, in turn, will he end up destroying Louise’s (Tilly Keeper) happiness with him?
As for whether Phil wakes up or not, this has yet to be confirmed but if he does come round, there is bound to be some huge drama if he discovers the lengths his own son is going to to cause a rift in his family.
The couple have been going through some trying times… (Picture: BBC / Kieron McCarron)
It’s all been kicking off on EastEnders as per usual, with Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) clubbing Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) across the head with a wrench and leaving him very much worse for wear.
Now that she’s gone on the run, has her husband Martin (James Bye) gone with her?
Has Martin left EastEnders with Stacey?
Yes, Martin has left Walford with his wife, but we can confirm that he won’t be gone the whole time that Lacey is on leave.
In the run up to their departure, Stacey and Martin have been having some problems, with Martin questioning Stacey’s feelings for her ex Max Branning (Jake Wood).
Stacey Fowler left Walford after attacking Phil Mitchell (Picture: BBC)
Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) has left EastEnders in a panic, after she brutally beat Phil Mitchell with a wrench, for starting on husband Martin (James Bye) and cousin Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace).
Despite Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) framing Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) for the attack, Stacey was taking no chances and decided to go on the run from Walford, in a bid to make sure the police didn’t come after her.
While Phil fought for his life in a coma, and fingers started pointing all over Albert Square, viewers saw Stacey in complete panic as she prepared to flee for good, with Martin and her kids by her side.
Speaking about the scenes, Lacey revealed her character saw running away as her ‘only option’.
‘She sees that as her only option, obviously Stacey has previous, and a history with the police, so she thinks this could put her away for a very long time and she’s petrified,’ the 31-year-old explained.
‘As it all sinks in, she thinks her only option is to take the kids and leave.
Martin left Albert Square with Stacey (Picture: BBC)
‘I think it was blind panic that led her to hitting Phil. Seeing Martin, the man she loves and the father of her kids in danger, she had to do what she had to do.’
The couple haven’t had the easiest time of it recently, with her close bond with old flame Max Branning driving another wedge between them.
And Lacey revealed Martin’s decision to join Stacey on the run ‘completely threw’ the mum-of-three.
‘She wants to protect him so she thought by taking herself out of the equation and out of Walford, she’d be able do that,’ she continued.
‘I think this is where we see Martin’s true love for Stacey too, he’s willing to give his entire life up and go on the run with her, regardless of potential consequences down the line.’
Phil was taken to hospital a while after the attack (Picture: BBC)
Ben insisted he would ‘handle’ it (Picture: BBC)
Ben walked into the Arches just seconds after Stacey hit Phil over the head – so basically at the worst possible moment – and took control of the situation, telling them all to ‘leave it to him’.
Unbeknown to them, he was actually planning on stitching Keanu up for the whole thing – in revenge for the mechanic replacing him in his dad’s will.
But are they suspicious of him, and do they have reason to be?
‘I think they were all in shock, and seeing Ben so controlled they just did as they were told,’ Lacey revealed. ‘I don’t think they’ve even had a chance to process everything that has happened and the trouble they could be in.
‘Stacey definitely is in complete shock and when she got home that’s when we saw it all sinking in.’
So what’s next for the Fowlers?
‘Well we’ll just have to see how Ben’s plan plays out, poor Keanu,’ she added. ‘Stacey and Martin are planning to lay low and let the dust settle but I’m sure they’ll be in cahoots with the Slaters for updates.
‘For now, Walford isn’t safe for any of them so they had to vanish.’
But will they come back? What does this mean for Kush? And will Ben come clean? We’ll have to tune in to find out.

Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) in Coronation Street arrived on the cobbles in 2018 and since then she’s become a bit of a comedic member of the street. She’s had her troubles in the love triangle with Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Chesney (Sam Aston) but soon Emma will face some more troubles of her own that later will lead to a shocking discovery.
Emma agrees to babysit Joseph for Gemma instead of going to the hospital to visit her dad and when Maria (Samia Longchambon) also asks, a fed up Emma also agrees to mind Liam as well.
She gets the chance to visit her dad but when Emma returns from hospital in a state of shock, she tells Maria that her dad has been diagnosed with stomach cancer.
Maria does her best to comfort Emma who is very worried about her Dad. Clearly upset, Emma tells Maria that her mum, who lives in Australia, refuses to come over and visit her Dad despite his illness.
We know it has been reported that Emma will soon be involved in a storyline involving Steve MacDonald (Simon Gregson) when speculation begins that he could in fact be Emma’s father (Steve had a brief relationship with Fiona, Emma’s mother, at around the time Emma would’ve been conceived). We also know that Emma’s ‘dad’ sadly passes away from his cancer so will he reveal the secrets to Emma before it’s too late or will someone else tell Emma that Steve could be her dad?
Jay Mitchell makes a shocking discovery on EastEnders next week (Picture: BBC)
It’s all kicking off in EastEnders next week as Albert Square come to terms with Phil Mitchell’s (played by Steve McFadden) brutal attack. While residents are busy pointing fingers, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) makes a shocking discovery about Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) that could put Phil’s life in further jeopardy.
Audiences already know that Stacey (Lacey Turner) clubbed Phil with a wrench to stop him from throttling Martin (James Bye), after the latter came between a heated argument Phil was having with Kat (Jessie Wallace), but could the mechanic find himself in a body bag by the end of next week?
In scenes due to air on Tuesday, Jay is stunned to learn just how much Ben hates his dad as he arrives at Walford General and, as they both ignore calls from Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold), they go head-to-head.
Frustrated by the events and what he’s learned Jay ends up walking away, but when he finally speaks to Lola she pleads with him to bring Ben home.
Ben Mitchell is scheming again (Picture: BBC)
Returning to the hospital and to Phil’s bedside, the undertaker tries to speak with Ben again and when Lexi calls, he opens up about his grand master plan.
Ben was previously seething at Phil after making plans against him and it looks like his rage is still bubbling.
Only time will tell just exactly what Ben’s intentions are, but judging from his dark past we know it can’t be anything good.
This episode airs Tuesday 6 August on BBC One.

Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) hasn’t had the easiest of years in Emmerdale, what with her fiancé Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) having been left for dead on their wedding day courtesy of Cain (Jeff Hordley) — not to mention Lisa’s (Jane Cox) untimely death, as well as daughter Sarah (Katie Hill) having had her fair share of health issues — but, with Charley going on maternity leave, Debbie will be forced to leave the Dales for a short time — but what exactly will lead to the young mechanic leaving her home?
The last few months have seen the Dingle clan mourn the loss of their beloved Lisa, but — even in death — the matriarch has proven to be full of surprises, as she left a garage in Scotland to both Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Debbie — a revelation that left Debbie in shock when she first learned about it several weeks back.
In spite of Lisa’s kind gesture, the young woman resolved to stay put with her family in Emmerdale — however, it seems that she might be having second thoughts about her decision in the coming episodes, as she discusses the matter further with Sarah — and is rather shocked by her daughter’s response.
Yes, during this conversation, Sarah proves to be very positive about the whole thing — and even encourages her mum to make the move to Scotland.
With Debbie now seriously considering her options, she once again clashes with Cain — who’s less than pleased to discover that she’s thinking about upping sticks and leaving. What’s more, he’s concerned about how Charity (Emma Atkins) will take the news.
With Cain having demonstrated the lengths he’s willing to go to in order to stop Debbie from departing the village in the past, could we see him resort to extreme measures once more?
Given that Charley is taking a break from Emmerdale, it’s likely that — in spite of his best efforts — Cain will be unable to prevent Debbie from leaving this time.

Chloe decides to talk to Mark, who tells her in not so many words that she has the green light to make a go of things with Chloe. So she decides it’s the time to come clean about her feelings – but will they be reciprocated?
2. Dee and Toadie kiss

They two start hurriedly discussing how they’ll have to do it all over again in round two and as things get heated, passion builds and they kiss!

(Picture: Channel 5)

Harlow knows she’s hiding something and goes rooting around, discovering the weapon and immediately calling the police. Mark arrives to take Sheila in for questioning, but Roxy’s guilt is piqued – now he really might go down for something he didn’t do. She puts in a call to the real culprit and it all becomes clear – she’s been covering for Vance all along.
4. Kyle breaks Amy’s heart
Amy realises that although she’s been putting off breaking up with Gary until he’s in the clear, now he is it’s equally as bad a time to break things off. After speaking with Pierce, Kyle realises that even if Amy does choose to be with him, she’ll still have feelings for Gary. So Kyle makes a huge decision – and goes to Amy to tell her he doesn’t love her…
5. Who’s stalking Bea and Finn?

They decide to say their goodbyes and go their separate ways, for now.

Since bringing his daughter Ava (Alice Roberts) to the Bay for a visit – and to meet his new partner Leah (Ada Nicodemou) – Justin (James Stewart) has been dealing with explosive scenes as the ten year old has acted out multiple times, with her latest tantrum resulting in a declaration that she doesn’t believe he loves her.
After Leah leaves the Morgan house to try and diffuse the tension, Justin follows Ava inside, but she shuts herself in her room and refuses to talk. Tori (Penny McNamee) advises him to let her cool down, while Leah confides in a supportive Maggie (Kestie Morassi) about the situation.
Leaving Ava in Tori’s care, Justin goes to find Leah, admitting that the situation with Ava has only become worse. Leah is unhappy, hating the thought of driving a wedge between Justin and his daughter, but Justin is insistent that she’s done nothing wrong.

Trying again later on, Justin and Leah try to lighten the mood when talking to Ava, but she just insists that she wants to be taken home. Justin tells her that Leah is an important part of his life and she has to accept it. Ava responds by retreating to her room, only emerging for dinner. Justin tells Ava that if she’s going to eat, she’ll do so at the table with everyone else.
At dinner, Tori feels the baby kick, and Ava is distracted by feeling the movement in her stomach. The group start joking about baby names, and Justin mentions how Nina and Brian would call Ava Bunny as a baby. Ava suddenly kicks off when Nina and Brian are mentioned, having a go at Justin and storming away.
A bewildered Justin speaks with Leah later on, and she advises that perhaps it’s not his dad’s new lady who is the problem – something could be going on at home with Nina and Brian. After Leah goes to bed, Ava appears in the kitchen, unable to sleep. Father and daughter sit down in front of the TV with snacks, Justin hoping that she will finally open up.
Ava admits that the talk of old memories made her feel sad, because things have been horrible at home. Justin discovers that Nina and Brian have been fighting a lot, and Brian recently moved out of the family home. A shocked Justin holds his heartbroken daughter. How can he support her through this difficult time?
Dean has been approached by his estranged father Rick (Picture: Channel 5)
Dean (Patrick O’Connor) has been left reeling lately, after the discover of his half sister Mackenzie (Emily Weir) and the return of his estranged father Rick Booth (Mark Lee) to Summer Bay.
When he returns to the Bay after visiting his mum Karen (Georgia Adamson), Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) gives him a warm welcome, but senses something is troubling him. Dean reveals that Rick has been contacting him, asking if he wants to strike up a relationship after all this time, and he’s not sure how to respond.
Ziggy advises that he should take a leap of faith, as it’s the only way to find out if his dad is being genuine.
Although Dean is reluctant, he eventually calls Rick, who immediately picks up and seems keen to hear from him.
Rick invites his son to spend the following day with him on his boat, which leaves Dean thrown due to how soon he’ll have to spend time with his father. He eventually agrees, and is buoyed by Ziggy’s optimistic attitude.
He asks her if she’ll come with him, and the next day they set out to board the boat.
The yacht is much larger than the pair could have imagined, and they’re left taken aback at how much money Rick must have.
Dean is tense as he boards with Ziggy, still left wondering if Rick is genuine about forming a relationship or if he’s trying to manipulate him like Mackenzie has warned him.
Dean is suspicious of Rick (Picture: Channel 5)
Rick takes the couple on a tour of the boat and slowly starts to win them over with his warm conversation over lunch. He slips away to get some drinks, and overhears Dean telling Ziggy that he doesn’t hate the idea of getting to know his dad.
A victorious Rick heads out to the deck to call Mackenzie and gloat, saying he’s won the battle she instigated against him now that he’s got Dean on his side.
When he returns, he continues to warm up the couple – but when Dean goes to the bathroom, Rick attempts to manipulate Ziggy. She sees through his words, realising that he really is trying to use Dean as a pawn in his manipulative game.
Ziggy furtively texts her dad under the table while Rick’s back is turned, asking him to call her. She fakes an urgent call from Ben (Rohan Nichol) – Dean’s boss – where he’s needed back at work, and gets them both off the yacht as fast as possible.
Back in Summer Bay, Ziggy confesses that he isn’t actually needed at work – and tells him what Rick said to her while he wasn’t there. Dean is hurt and angry to learn that his father was playing him – and goes to find Mackenzie. He tells her that he’ll do whatever it takes to help her bring Rick down…
Home And Away’s Ray Meagher in 2018 (Picture: Getty Images)
Home And Away star Ray Meagher has undergone triple bypass surgery.
The 75-year-old actor, who plays Alf Stewart, had the shock diagnosis a week ago during a routine health check which revealed that he had three serious blockages in his arteries.
The veteran soap star was planning a long winter break in Queensland with his wife when he visited his cardiologist for a regular check-up and stress test.
The Melbourne Herald Sun published that Ray felt ‘very, very lucky’ and that he would be remaining at home in Sydney to recover.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 told Metro.co.uk: ‘We can confirm that Ray has recently undergone a triple bypass.
‘He was in hospital for a couple of days and is now home and feeling pretty cheerful. We know that all of his U.K. Fans will join us in wishing him a speedy recovery.’

The publication claims that doctors felt a simple stent procedure would be enough but ‘the extent of the coronary calcification meant he was scheduled for open heart surgery the next day’.
Bypass surgery is a surgical procedure which aims to restore normal blood flow to an obstructed coronary artery.
Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Meagher for comment.

Ray has been on screen since the mid-1970s, and remains notable for being the longest continuing performer in an Australian television role, as Alf on Home and Away.
He appeared in the very first episode in 1988 and is the only original actor still with the series.
‘Over the last 10-20 years, each Christmas I go over to your country to do a pantomime, and more recently I went over twice to do Priscilla Queen Of The Desert in the West End,’ he said on This Morning.
‘Once was a six month stint, another a run of four months in that same show. If you average my time out over the last 10-15 years, I probably average 40 weeks a year.
‘From now on, on a new contract, I’ll probably work 35-36 weeks of the year. So it’s just taking a tiny bit more time out, but I ain’t going nowhere.’
Summer Bay wouldn’t be the same without him!

Jasmine and Robbo are preparing for their wedding day (Picture: Channel 5)
Jasmine (Sam Frost) and Robbo’s (Jake Ryan) relationship couldn’t be in a better place in the final countdown to their wedding, although Jasmine is stressed about the long list of unfinished tasks that need completing before the big day.
Robbo offers to help, and she gives him some of the tasks, while Willow (Sarah Roberts) volunteers to step in and help her pick up the dress.
Meanwhile, Colby (Tim Franklin) asks Robbo if he’s having a buck’s party, but he isn’t fussed about organising a celebration like that – he’s perfectly happy to spend the time with his bride to be.
However, Colby, is adamant that something needs to be organised, and starts to make secret plans for the pair.
Robbo makes plans to have dinner with Jasmine in Yabbie Creek that night, but Colby manages to persuade them to have a quick drink at Salt beforehand. When they walk into the bar, a gathering of their friends is ready to greet them with a surprise party for their wedding, much to their delight.
To Robbo’s surprise, Colby has even managed to track down his old friend Lance (Angus McLaren) from his time in the Feds, and he introduces his bride to him.
Jasmine admires the bond between the two friends, who reminisce over old times. Lance considers how happy Robbo is, and says that leaving the Feds was clearly the right choice for him.
Robbo says he never thought he’d be this happy again and vows not to mess up his brand new life.
Robbo asks Irene what’s going on with Jasmine (Picture: Channel 5)
Meanwhile, Irene (Lynne McGranger) sees Jasmine out on the balcony looking teary, and asks her what’s wrong.
Jasmine admits that, while everything is perfect, seeing Robbo with his old friend and meeting his parents has reminded her that she doesn’t have any family or friends from her past to celebrate her big day with her.
When he notices Jasmine has disappeared, Robbo goes looking for her and finds her out on the balcony with Jasmine. Although Jasmine puts on a brave face, Robbo isn’t fooled – but can’t get through to her.
He asks Irene what’s going on, and although she won’t betray Jasmine’s trust, she urges him to keep talking to her.
Eventually, Robbo manages to get Jasmine to open up. She reveals that seeing him with his family and best friend has just reminded her of how alone she is in the world.
Robbo tells her that he could track down her dad for her if she wants – that is the sort of thing he’s trained to do, after all. Will Jasmine take Robbo up on his offer and rediscover her past?
In addition to that, he’s known for his role as corrupt cop Dougie Slade who featured in EastEnders from 2002 to 2003.
