Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra) has been busy in recent months working at Walford East, as well as supporting her sister Habiba (Rukku Nahar) as she tries to sort out her dating life.
The Ahmed family are set to celebrate the Islamic holiday Eid al-Adha this week, and they will even be joined by Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) who has been converting to Islam.
During the celebrations tensions start to rise between some of the family and Mariam (Indira Joshi) demands to know what’s going on.
Iqra then reveals that she has been seeing someone, but they may have to wait to find out more about her secret.

Iqra Ahmed is set to come out as gay in EastEnders, following a revelation that she has been hiding texts that she has been receiving from girls.
Last month a source told The Sun: ‘Iqra has been fighting to keep her sexuality quiet, but eventually the truth will emerge.’
She is set to be the first Muslim woman to come out on the soap, although it’s not been confirmed when her friends and family will find out about her secret.
EastEnders has also yet to reveal whether Iqra is in a relationship with someone and possibly hiding a potential girlfriend from her family.
Could her recent text messages be a clue as to who she might be in a relationship with?
