However, despite going out a hero, it seems the much loved character might be framed for his own death as Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) and Amy Wyatt (Chelsea Halfpenny), who started the blaze, hope they’ll get away with literal murder.
In an upcoming episode, the pair can be seen discussing their next step.
And it appears they’re still in denial over the whole thing, despite breaking the CCTV and causing an electrical fault after they stole money from a safe.
However, it’s only a matter of time until the factory safe is opened and and it’s revealed that the money inside has been stolen.
But will Kerry be able to contain her guilt, or will she end up giving herself up?
After all, he can’t defend himself now, can he?
Kerry and Amy started the fire right after they raided the safe at the factory – a crime that Kerry had previously claimed would be ‘victimless’.
However the pair noticed that the robbery was being caught on CCTV, and when they tried to destroy the footage, they carelessly left wires exposed, which sparked and set the building on fire.
The flames took hold of the entire sweet factory, putting Tracy in danger as she was trapped inside the building.
However, Frank was able to get his daughter out alive, but ended up getting caught in an explosion that claimed his life.
Whether or not Kerry and Amy will be able to hide their shame is still unknown, but we sure will be tuning in to find out.
