None of us could blame Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) for wanting to leave Emmerdale.

After she was raped by the evil Lee, she realised that she was pregnant with his baby. And, to add insult to injury, his mum Wendy (Susan Cookson) has refused to leave her alone.

The antagonistic Wendy seems intent on making Victoria’s life a living hell, even though her son has already assaulted her.

With Wendy continuting to hassle her, Victoria and Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen) last night decided to leave the village to get some peace.

But will it be goodbye forever for Victoria and Diane?

The traumatic storyline takes a dramatic turn in upcoming episodes, as Wendy decides that she’ll fight for custody of the unborn baby.

Diane is naturally defensive of Victoria, and supports her decision to leave the Dales behind.

As they’re preparing for the B&B for an estate agent viewing, however, who else turns up but Wendy, ready to put a spanner in the works and try to stop Victoria from ever breaking free of Lee’s shackles.

Diane then asks Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) to help her by buying Keeper’s Cottage, but it remains to be seen whether or not he will.

Somebody that certainly doesn’t want them to go is Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), and he heads off in a rage to confront Lee once again. How it’ll end we can’t reveal, but as we’ve seen in the past, Robert isn’t one to take things lying down.

Could he keep his half-sister around by sacrificing himself?
